I'm sure you've got indoor ranges near you that rents them... I think they're awesome personally, and I like the fact that the accompanying pistol uses the same ammo. The round itself is a great round. However, the price of ammo kills it, and you can't find it anywhere. If I can't buy the ammo for it at wal-mart, I won't own it. |

I'm in the process of building a new AR right now... It's almost done. I'm just waiting on a new bi-pod and stock to get here. Right now, I got a cheap stock, and bi-pod on it just to try it out. Hopefully this will be a good 500 yard rifle.

I was about to buy a couple of bikes, but i think I decided we're getting a couple of kayaks instead. I'm pretty amped about it. Bikes will have to wait. On another note, I rode an $1100 bike the other day to try it out. It's not quite like my old huffy. Edited by ilivas, Jul 11 2012, 01:45 PM.

I've been getting into clay games lately. I now own a gun that costs as much as a car. I'm pretty amped about it. ![]() ![]() I also picked this up, it's a fun pistol.

hahhaha, yea kinda like what a real bike should feel like!!! and they'll take more abuse and last 10x longer then the cheap-o ride. After 10 years I still haven't pounded my GT into submission, and im on it almost every single day. |

It was so light weight. Crazy how light it felt. I don't know if I want to sink that kind of cash into them especially if I have to buy two. The person that loaned me it said we should go get measured at a shop to make sure we buy the right size. Edited by ilivas, Jul 25 2012, 07:45 PM.

yea but you don't have to dump 1,100 into one, even a solid 500 bike will feel just as nice. normally the only change from the 500 to the 1,100 will be the components, same frame but it might have better hubs and gear set or something like that. RIde the hell out of it till you bend rims then get someone to make you a custom set, etc, etc. 5 years later you have the 1,100 version without spending 1,100. I can't even justify spending over 1000 on a bike, unless it is some full carbon frame road racer but then, I don't need one of those to begin with hahaha. That GT 5 series im shopping is 600-800 depending where you shop and it specs out around the other guys 1,100 road bikes HMmm yes please. Just go to the shop and hop on some bikes, i never get measured for a frame i just ride what feels comfy, im prob riding 1 frame size down from what they say I "should" be riding but the bike shop guys always wanna put me on some big ass monster thing. Bike people are like car people, you have the guys that ride the expensive stuff, always ware their helmets, grab the energy bars and full water bottle, sunglasses lbahblhalbalbalhb. These are the equiv of the "take it to the track" guys that won't even do a burnout in an empty parking lot. Edited by sn00zie, Jul 26 2012, 09:11 AM.

It's the same with every hobby. If you check out my post about my shotguns above. The one on top is a $5k shotgun. I have three $2k shotguns, and they're great. The $5k one performs no better than the $2k ones, it just has ornate engravings, gold all over it, and nicer wood. They make $50k ones also... hand carved, intricate engravings, more gold, etc. They also don't perform any better. Edited by ilivas, Jul 28 2012, 02:26 PM.

I have one... although, I need a bigger one because I can't fit everything in there. I am probably going to take out special insurance on them though. |
