Word in the curia is that Licinius...Aedile Gaius Licinius, not the Consul Titus Licinius, has written most of the major bills that have gone into effect since last year, sending Rome's armies to fight and delegations to renew trade agreements in order to deal with increasing costs of government. Surely quality politicians are lacking if an Aedile is holding so much influence? |
