Proculus Hirtius
Tribune of Plebs

The Tribune of the Plebs stood:

"Gentlemen,

Over the course of the last two weeks, rumors and news have flooded the streets as they always do. Though the ones I speak of are concerning the Thracian tribes and their alliances with the Taurican Kingdom. Those Roman traitors have left behind the most sacred ideals we have, Our Republic! And they have gone on to create a pretend kingdom using all of the products of our successes. Recent news of their rise in Thracia and Dacia have been troubling though we have been in no position to do anything about it. However, with the war winding down and the new rebellion of the Thracian tribes against this kingdom, it's high time for their name and actions over the past several years to be spoken in these halls. What are the opinoins of my conscript fathers? Does anyone here hold more information on this topic?"

Praetor Urbanus

Galerius Shot up "This letter proves that we must act now. Tiberius Valerius has presented us with an opportunity to engage both theTauricans and Thracians in negotiations. Let us seize the day and ally ourselfs with the most powerful group that benefits us most. Doing nothing could cost us dearly in time and possible lives in the future. so with that being said I will present a proposal immediately"
