Praetorian Novius Artorius Felix rose from his seat,

"With corruption rife throughout the republic, would our current tribune of plebs be better placed in a province that will require strong judicial leadership, say, Macedon as an example."

"Honorable Praetorian Felix, I must thank you for your kind words. Though in light of our praetor urbanus' wishes to take on the responsibilities in Macedonia and my own interest in the citerior province of Hispania.

I know that this is not a common occurrence in our republic, but I believe we are not in common times. There is much to be done all around our world and even the provinces who remained loyal to our cause such as Hispania Citerior have much to be done in them. Rebuilding of not only cities and infrastructure must take place but also of lives and relationships. The trust and leadership the name of Roma instills in the local populations that have been placed under our care - for indeed care must be taken to lead our people whether they have been conquered through treaty, force of arms, or some other means - has been rocked to its foundation. I plan on focusing my term on building up those allies who still hold true to the ideals of our great republic and building up the cities of our provinces so once again outsiders look upon them with envy.

Gentlemen, I would like to leave the proposal as is. If there is no further debate on the topic I would ask our esteemed consul to place this bill to vote."
