Tao Yun took a seat at one of the sides, not too far away from Dong Zhuo. She waited until the other two had finished their business. She had manners, after all, and men in this land was looked upon with higher esteem. |

Mi Zhu entered and looked around. He knew that unlike the other lieges, Dong Zhuo wasted a lot more money than the other lieges on unnecessary items. He was against this practice as he could just make more money with the spare gold that was lying around. However, he that he could not speak these words, for this would angry Dong Zhuo. Walking up to where Dong Zhuo was, he bowed and began to speak. "Lord Zhuo, thank you for allowing me to enter your humble palace. I got your letter regarding some work. But before that, may I have the honor of pouring you a drink?" While he felt this was degrading to his character as he believes that everyone is equal, he knew that he had to do this in order to appease Dong Zhuo. |

Mi Zhu went to where the drinks were, poured out a drink and then gave it to Dong Zhuo "So, Lord Zhuo, shall we discuss about this work?" |

Dong accepted the drink and took a sip. He later grinned when he heard Mi Zhu had to say. There were no need for words, everything was already planned ahead since that day back then. It was the same advisor who had recommended to hire Mi Zhu services that entered the hall when Dong clapped his hand two times. The advisor approached Mi Zhu and gave him a piece of paper, or rather say a scroll with all the information about the offer Dong was suggesting. "Is this good for you?" Dong asked a short while after Mi Zhu had taken the scroll from the advisor. [PM Sent] Edited by Dong Zhuo -Roku-, Jun 27 2013, 10:01 PM.

"Goodbye." Dong said took another sip from the wine Mi Zhu had gave him. He then turned to Tao Yun. "Sorry for that. Usually I don't get that many visitors out here so north. People are too scared for the barbarians in this area to travel." |

Tao Yun watched the men in silence as they conducted their affairs. She cared little for what they actually would agree on, but if it came to such length that she was hired, she would find out soon enough. As Mi Zhu left, she looked at Dong Zhuo as he addressed her, and smiled. "No worries. One must learn to take advantage of his, or her, available options and turn them into profit. Such as taking good care of guests when one has not had much practice in the area. As an example." |
