Theo shifted his bag on his shoulder, sliding it off a moment later as he sat down in his seat for home room. It was the first day of school, a time that was usually exciting. Theo could have cared less however. Being in grade eleven, he was already used to the first day routine. The new students would be running around looking like lost puppies and the older students would be finding all their friends. The only person Theo cared about seeing was his best friend and secret love interest, Mandy. He started pulling out the books he'd need for his history class, wondering how he was going to stay awake. At least he'd already left the note in Mandy's locker. Theo had been writing her love letters since grade nine but he always signed them secret admirer, not wanting to ruin their friendship. Besides, she had a new boyfriend just about every week. There was no way she'd even think of him in a romantic sense. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He ran his hands across the newest tattoo as he took a deep breath of smoke. His arm was still a little sore from the newest ink even though it was a week and a half old by this point. He leaned back against the cool cement of the school rooftop as he exhaled, the smoke spiralling up into the cool september air. Scott could care less about school. It was his last year after all and it wasn't like he'd done so well as it was. He was more of a...relaxed rebel. The teachers didn't much like him so whenever he had done his work, the grades he received were terrible. So instead of going to class, he was sitting on the roof having a relaxing smoke. His eyes were keeping an eye out for a certain vice-president who had caught his eye last year. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sienna wiped the sweat from her brow before taking a swig of cool water. She was glad to have first period spare and an all access pass to use the school weight room. Currently she was working at the punching bag, working out all her stress and nerves before the first class. She hit the bag particularly hard as she let out a sigh of relief. The darker skinned girl smiled, removing the punching gloves and tossing them onto her bag nearby. It had already been an hour of working out so a few weights, a bit or cardio and a cool down then she'd be ready to shower and head to class. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eli Cunning hugged his books to his chest as he walked with his friends. Every so often they'd start laughing, him joining in awkwardly before he was jostled about. "Hey El, go get us something to eat. We're hungry." He looked up at Matt, the more assertive one in the group. "B-but class is going to start soon..." He knew it was a weak argument and that in the end he'd go anyway. A moment later, his books were on the floor, knocked from his arms by Bryce. "It's okay. We'll cover for you. Now be a good friend and go get us something." Matt was very convincing, Eli had learned that during their middle school years. He tried to never cross the older boy. "O-okay. I'll be back as quick as possible." The three other boys walked off laughing as Eli scrambled to pick up his books. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She took her glasses off for a moment to wipe them and give her eyes a rest. The paperwork had been excruciating today what with all the start of term activities planned for the new students. Ada had shown up at the school two hours early to make sure everything got down properly and as necessary. Packing everything up, the student council president put them aside and rushed off to her first class, law. It wouldn't do well for the president to be late which caused her to make haste. The only problem was that she wasn't exactly the most coordinated person around. In fact, she had slammed right into someone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

Twelfth grade was like every other grade, pointless and extremely dull to Archibald Duke, captain of the senior football team. He had a rice filled burrito and chicken in his hand and he was currently munching away at it. He smiled slightly as he finished up his putting his books in his locker and fixed the strap on his rucksack. It was going to be a dull semester full of dull things and stupid subjects but it's not like he didn't care for any of them. But he was glad though, he had first period spare meaning... He didn't have to actually be there right in the morning. But, he had promised to drive Tom to school even though he and Tom had broken up they were still close friends, close enough for Archie to drive both Tom and his little room mate to school in the morning. Whatever, he thought. Might as well get a work out while doing it. So he headed up to the second floor weight room. And there she was. --- Thomas Gero had finished the last of his coffee in the travel on mug. "C-Coffee." He muttered and glanced over at his housemate. He hadn't left her side for a while, well, since the second semester of last year. He had welcomed her into his flat. He didn't make her pay rent, he didn't make her do anything. The only way she paid him in return was to help him speak. Tom hadn't spoken since he was five years old, when he had distanced himself from people. He handed her a muffin, breakfast because he was still half asleep. "M-M-M..." He bit his lip and flushed. He hated when he just stuttered off into silence. "M-M-M..." He muttered again and then looked at his feet. -- Owen was on the roof. He was currently smoking his morning cigarette with Scott. Though Scott seemed to give no shits for anything to do with school while Owen just kept to himself and finished his studies. When he wanted to of course. It's not like Scott and Owen were close, he and Scott had the same group of friends. "Ah, look." He said softly as he pointed over to the roof doorway. --- Sebastian felt a sting to the tattoo he had gotten only a week ago. He didn't know why he had got it, usually he had got tattoos because they meant something but... this one was was completely random compared to the others. Words from Sappo's poetry about the mortal god of beauty. Okay Scott was a huge sap when it came to poetry, from Sappo to Shakespeare. "Oi." He said eyes narrowed, his posh accent sounded silly when he said that. "I told the guidance to align our classes. AND YOU ARE COMING TO THEM." Sebastian narrowed his eyes, leaning against the door frame. "Got it, now come along." --- Gabriel grinned softly as he held his guitar in his right hand, in it's case of course, he needed to keep it safe. "Hey soul sister~" He said grabbing a girl's hand and spinning her around and laughing. "Heeey there mister mister!" He sang, letting her twirl and let go as he grabbed her boyfriend's and danced with him. He continued to sing as he skipped off, music first period. That or he was just a morning person. Or... Topher... Topher... okay, he just kept thinking about Topher hence why he was so happy. -- "AYE, YOU S.O.B." Blair called from the middle of the stair way to the first floor from the second. Yeah, she had pair of flats on and machine wash jeans, a long wool sweater. "Oh and this was one of those days I wish I still wore heels." She stood five foot two inches of pure adorable feistyness. "Aye, Bryce. Long time no see." She winked at one of her ex-boyfriends and then put a foot right in his crotch. "Love ya, bastard, hope you don't have kids!" She called as she skipped down the hall with her ruck sack swinging in her right hand. Right on. One asshole down, now onward to majority of the other men in the school! Emma had been playing with the strings of her sweater the whole time Tom was trying to talk. She had wanted to see if Archie would hang out with them for a minute or two before the bell rang but it seemed like he had better things to do and she didn't really want to bug him. Archie and Tom hadn't really talked much, especially since Emma had come around and she felt bad. She didn't want to come between the two best friends. Emma turned her attention back to Tom and smiled, trying to encourage him while he got to talking a bit more. "It's okay Tom. Don't worry too much about it. You've done enough for now." She offered him a big smile and opened her locker, placing the bulk of her things in the metal box before rearranging everything and putting her first period's things in her satchel that she carried with her everywhere. "Gotta go to class now." ---- Leah was sitting outside on the steps of the school with her friends, finishing up her cigarette before the bell rang for homeroom. 'God I need to quit...maybe tomorrow...' That was essentially what she'd been saying to herself all of last year and all of the summer. She meant to quit, and she didn't smoke as much as she used to, but it was hard to just cut herself off. She swept the butt out on the ground before throwing it in the garbage beside the steps. "Well...time to get in there I guess. See you guys at lunch." She left the group and headed to her first period class, hoping there was at least one person she knew. ---- Mandy and Topher had walked to school together and had been pretty much sharing a locker since gr. 9. That was three years together, being best friends, sharing each other's clothes and just in general being with one another. She fished her things out of the locker, finding the one thing she'd been looking forward to seeing more than anything. That little envelope with her name on it. She been getting these notes since grade 9 and they had always been the highlight of her day. She took it and put it in her bag before kissing Topher on the cheek while she headed towards her first period class. She'd always been affectionate, especially towards him and that caused some grief with past boyfriends and people speculating that they were dating, but Mandy knew that Topher was as gay as you could get. Besides, he was crushing on someone right now so there was no chance that she and him could be dating. They'd tried that already anyway and it hadn't worked out, and they were never going to try again. She walked into her class and immediately went to look for people she knew. Being the social butterfly she was, she pretty much knew everyone but there was one person who caught her eye that she'd always go to instead of talking to the masses. She walked over to the desk, set her bag on the ground then hopped up onto the desk, sitting cross-legged in front of Theodore Greenburg, probably one of the coolest people she'd ever met and one of her best and dearest friends. She beamed at him and sat there, completely in his way. "Happy first day of the third year of hell Theo." Her tone and demeanor was way too contrasting with her words, but it was more fun to say a greeting like that than to be boring and normal. ---- Topher waved back at her and took his things before heading out to his first class. He made sure to pass down the music hall, even if it was completely out of his way to do so. He just wanted to see Gabe though. He'd been crushing on the blonde since Mandy had introduced them last year. He was thinking maybe it was finally time to take action, drop some hints and see if he'd pick them up. He had a plan though, and infultrating the music room was step one. He reached the door and looked in. He found Gabe, then walked in and nudged him. "Hey." Step one, complete. So far so good. ---- Tyler had left the group on the steps when Leah had and turned left when she'd turned right. Tyler never really had a locker, he usually kept his shit in his car, only taking the bare minimums to class when he wanted to actually work. Have the time he didn't even go to class anyway so there was no point in having a locker when it wasn't going to get used. Might as well let some other poor sucker have the thing if he wasn't going to use it. Tyler had his music in his ears and his hands in his pockets as he meandered down the halls, minding his own business. He didn't know what he was doing or where he was going but he did know that it wasn't going to be to class. Cut on the first day? Why not. It wasn't like he actually wanted to be here in the first place. Suddenly this force knocked into him and things went flying. Papers and books were now strewn on the floor and the air was knocked from his chest. "Ufff." He looked down and saw the student council president and smirked. Little miss goody two shoes herself. Tyler took his ear buds out and looked down at the workaholic brunette. "Well hey there Prez. Having a good day?" |

Theo looked up at her, unable to hide the broad smile that now covered his face. She seemed to be in a good mood so she must have gotten the letter he wrote. He found himself staring a bit more than necessary so he pushed the thoughts aside and laughed instead. "It's not that bad...Okay, I can't even say that with a straight face. Why does school have to start so early and take so long?" He reached out and absent-mindedly played with a bit of her hair. He tended to this though she obviously saw no romantic thoughts behind it. Theo was completely head over heels for her since day one. They'd even gone on dates before and yet still she thought they were just hanging out. Still, he wouldn't trade their friendship for anything. If they dated and things went sour, there would be no way for him to go back to friendship afterwards so he just had to suffer through watching her from the sidelines, watch her face when she thought she was in love with someone, watch the way her boyfriend's lit up her face with happiness. Okay, he was a little bitter but honestly, who wouldn't be? ~~~~~~~ He had been enjoying the quiet guy's company, comfortable in the silence between them until that priss had to come interrupt their relaxed state. "Oh hello vice-prez. Come to take the rebel back to class I see." He laughed, a smirk on his face. He loved pissing this guy off. Scott took a deep breath of his cigarette before even deigning to look over at the kid. "Why don't you get that stick out of your ass then come talk to me? I'll go to class when I feel like it, not because some little kid who can't even figure shit out wants me to." Of course, Sebastian would have no idea what he was talking about. Scott had figured out that the vide-president liked guys forever ago which had sparked this annoying little crush he had on the other guy. He was not at all happy with these feelings since the two of them were about as opposite as possible. And who liked the preps? Seriously, it was too cliché. The bad boy and the prepster, it was like Grease all over again but with less cool cars and more teenage angst. Not his idea of fun. Scott turned back to look out at the skyline, taking another deep breath of the nicotine stick. God, he was already craving another cigarette and he was still in the middle of one. ~~~~~~~ She was just about to start jumping rope when she noticed someone came into the room. Sienna didn't turn to look at them, knowing that there were a few others that had first period spare as well. Actually, she wouldn't have been surprised if it was Archer who frequented the work out room. She turned her music up louder before grasping the wooden handles in her hand tightly. The rope began moving up and around her rapidly. She started out with straight jumping and quickly switched to double-dutch to get a better workout. A few runs of that and she switched to foot by foot. This was how she always did it, switching between styles to keep her mind sharp and her heart rate up. ~~~~~~~ Eli had just finished picking up all his books and papers, wasting no time at all before rushing off to go get the stuff his friends wanted. It was at least fairly nice outside as he crossed the front courtyard. The mall was just a block or less away so he'd go there and hopefully get back in time for class. Being late on the first day was really not the best idea and he didn't want to make a bad impression with his new teachers. In fact, he never wanted to make a bad impression with any one ever. He was running to save time but where Eli was concerned, that was never a good idea. Of course, that point was proven when his foot caught on the side of the cement, one square lifted slightly higher than the one before. Once again, his books were spread across the ground while Eli cradled his hands. Of course he'd fall, of course his things would go everywhere, of course he'd scrape up his hands and knees. He sighed, trying not to cry. This really was the worst first day ever. ~~~~~~~ Her face was flushed when she looked up at the boy she'd knocked head first into. He looked familiar so she ran through the yearbook in her head. This was Tyler Cross, same year as her. They had a class or two together this semester. Ada Westmore was always on top of things. That included the entire school's names and what they looked like along with who was in each of her classes. "I apologize. I got caught up and wasn't paying attention to where I was going." She gave him a smile, tucking a strand of her behind her ear before she realized they were standing in the centre of what looked like a hurricane. Papers were everywhere and any order there had been before was completely lost. Ada let out a strained noise before she was instantly down on her knees trying to gather all the sheets and keep some semblance of order. ~~~~~~~ Aria Aria climbed out of her dad's sports car, keeping her dress down with one hand while clutching the small designer back pack with the other. There wasn't a lot of wind but with the material of her dress, any small breeze could pick it up. She dropped her sunglasses down over her eyes as she waved goodbye to her father. The car drove off quickly after that and she was left to enjoy her first day as a tenth grader. What a fantastic feeling! She made it to the school quickly and then to her new locker. She had a few minutes before class yet so she could drop off some of her things in the metal cupboard. Her heels clicked on the linoleum floor as she stopped in front of her new locker. There wouldn't be time to decorate it today but she would come a bit earlier tomorrow and make sure it was up to her standards. It was more fun that way anyway. Then she could make sure she had all the pictures and everything she needed for it. After putting her sunglasses and notebooks in the locker, she closed it and went to head off to her first class, vocal music. It was one of her favourite things to do so of course she'd chosen it for one of her electives. Aria smiled happily as she made her way to class. Grade ten was going to be amazing. ~~~~~~~ Zach slammed his locker shut, forcing the old lock onto it, the rust preventing that from being a successful venture. Eventually, he managed to close the damn thing. He sighed, glancing down at himself. Another day, another old outfit. He wasn't big on clothes or anything but it got annoying to wear similar things everyday. Part of the perks of growing up in an orphanage though. Oh wait, they didn't call it that nowadays. They called it child services or some shit like that. Regardless, he had no family and no one wanted to adopt him or even foster him. Whatever, he didn't need a family. He'd gotten along fine so far. He slung the rucksack over his shoulder carefully, knowing that it might break any day now. It had held on his entire high school career and some of middle school as well so it was doing good. It was like an old friend. Man, he was being all sentimental and crap today. Hearing yelling, he moved to investigate the source of the noise. And then he saw her. Blair wasn't exactly the kind of girl you could ignore and her history of romantic partners had never really been that great. Most guys had been warned to steer clear of her in the dating sense but the assholes always went for her. It was entertaining to watch to say the least. "Another ones bites the dust then? Who was it this time? Oh let me guess, complete asshole but extremely good looking?" He leaned against the lockers, his hands in his pockets as he addressed her. ~~~~~~~ He pulled the sweater tighter around him, his tired eyes looking around the classroom. It had been another rough night and it didn't help that he had somehow managed to catch Ben's cold from last week. So his first day was being spent freezing cold and sneezing. Speak of the devil, Landon let out a squeak of a sneeze, unable to drag up the energy to sneeze properly. Generally feeling terrible, he sighed and looked up to see someone he recognized. Landon and Leah weren't exactly close but they did tend to hang around the same crowd. It at least afforded him the fact that he knew someone in the class, even if it was only a bit. In the few times he'd hung around her, Leah seemed like a cool girl, one he wouldn't mind being better friends with. He was pretty sure she had a younger sibling or something too though he was fuzzy on the details. "Hey Leah." He waved at her, unwilling to get up from his seat. He'd stay planted there all day if he were able to. ~~~~~~~ Archer Wells, the up and coming Olympic star. Today the world is watching to see him win the Olympic gold medal for his country. He's been training since he was three years old and everything has come down to this moment. Preparing his hands, he breathes in deep before...oh! Look at that beautiful mount! Already off to a great start! Ladies and gentlemen, I believe he's about to do a triple- He was suddenly shaken from his dream, his eyes snapping open to see his little sister Adella waking him up. Glancing at the clock, he jumped out of bed, realizing he would be late if he didn't get a move on. Thankfully, he had a car so he could get to school with just enough time to spare as long as... He paused in his mad dash to look at his sister. Something was off. He looked down at his watch and narrowed his eyes. Someone had changed his alarm clock. "Micah! How could you?" He whined loudly so his brother could hear. Despite the early morning ruckus, Archer was able to make it to school with time to spare and avoid an argument with his adorable little brother. He rushed to class however so he could get a good view of all the cute guys and girls he'd be spending an entire semester with. He adjusted his skin tight t-shirt with anticipation. First days were so exciting!! ~~~~~~~ Micah had a smile on his face as he entered his first class. He'd gotten Archer good that morning even though he'd lost the bet with Adella. A few dollars and extra chores was nothing in comparison to getting his brother. Now was the daunting task of getting through class. Maybe he'd have a good first day and the teachers wouldn't pick on him for not talking much. The younger Wells boy had never been a big talker, he left that to his siblings for the most part. He preferred to keep quiet unless something important needed to be said and he hated skirting around the subject. Words seemed to be used in excess to explain things whereas he kept the excess words to a minimum and just said what needed to be said. He sat down at the desk and pulled out his notebooks before beginning to doodle on some music bars. No reason to waste good writing time after all, even though he'd lost his inspiration a bit over summer. Hopefully, he'd get that back now that school had started up again. Tom fiddled with his backpack strap and smiled up at her. She was really something else, honest to god. Tom was head over heels for her of course but, he would never say anything. Mainly because he couldn’t even form a basic sentence yet, “B-Bye!” He called after her. Now it was just him. Alone in this giant school. He trudged off, making sure to take the long way around to avoid the hockey and football boy’s lockers. He didn’t wanted to be shoved into a locker the first day of school, he was mute but not stupid. -- Demetria didn’t want to be there, hell she was good with going back to bed after the nasty shift she had two days before at the tattoo parlor. Morgan was just torturing her in a way to get back at her putting pink streaks in his bangs. It looked really good on Morganna though, just didn’t see things her way. She made her way up the school steps, watching Leah Carmicheal and her friends sitting around smoking before class. Demi smoked but, she’d rather smoke up on the roof with Scott and Owen then down here where people could see her. Plus, the steps of the school could be littered with preps too. Urgg, Preps were so annoying with their stupid little stares and nasty looking clothing. She fixed her black halter top and pulled a hair elastic off her wrist and pulled her hair up in a messy bun as she kicked the door of the school open. What, she had too, she had Aiden’s extra travel mug in one hand and the other was currently playing with her hair. She entered the school and flounced off to her locker. She needed to put her baby away. By her Babe she meant her rather old guitar which never left her side unless dire need to. She passed by a rather attractive girl in a cute little pink dress. Aria, who was a grade nine last year and caught her eye. Damn. She was adorable enough to make Demi back up and take another look before continuing down the hall with a little smile on her rouged lips. -- Owen was a hawk from up on that roof and for a good damn reason. He glanced down at the boy running from the school, most likely to the mall up the street from the place. He shook his head. Eli Cunning, a sixteen year old just like himself who was bullied by his so called friends. Anger seemed to run just under Owen’s skin when it came to watching the kid suffer, it wasn’t just any kid that he watched, it was specifically Eli. Eli was adorable, and with soft blue eyes and hair that shined and... Owen looked away and attempted to focus on Scott and Sebastian. But, he couldn’t, He’d go after Eli. He put out his cigarette out and stomped by Sebastian in the door way. “See ya Scott, good luck with your British lap dog.” --- “I am utterly flattered, you giant Prat.” Sebastian snapped, crossing his arms over his chest and watching the other boy inhale from the fag. He’d let Scott talk, of course. Partly because he liked listening to Scott’s voice and partly it was nice to let him think what he said mattered. Because most of the time, the snarky remarks went right over him. Sebastian loved to play the hurt and angry one when it came to Scott; it was a way he kept Scott coming around and the idea of Scott just... not talking to him was not an option. Sebastian licked his lips, and wasn’t really paying attention to what Scott was saying, pretty much just taking a long look at the guy that had plagued his thoughts all damn summer. “Will you.” He said his voice a lot quieter, softer almost. “Please come to class, at least for the first day, Walker?” -- Blair opened her locker, right beside Zach’s locker. Great place for it to be, of all god knows how many damn lockers were in this school. But this was Blair’s life and it seemed to hate her, maybe it was Karma from the kick to the groin she had just given. She slides her last period binder and book into the locker and checked her make up in the mirror she had pinned to the inside of her door. “Bryce.” Was all she said to him before shutting her locker and locking it with a new impressive looking lock. “I really wish I could do that to all of the guys that...” She looked away and then back over at him. “It’s nice to see you.” She muttered. Maybe she was a magnet for assholes, but this one in particular had caught her eye like no one before. She and him had been going at the teasing and bickering since grade nine and hell, she adored it and was currently nursing such a big crush for him. He was good looking and downright hilarious when it came to come backs. “How was your summer, oh wait... I know because we were texting all summer.” She stated fixing her rucksack and grinning up at him (could have been a smirk by her standards). “Look, I even took your advice with the no heels, my feet have never felt better!” -- Gabriel had his guitar out and was strumming away. It was a white acoustic guitar that Logan. His best friend of all times had affectionately named Pegasus. Gabriel went along with it, he loved the idea of Pegasus so much he had gotten Owen, an art student in the same year as him to draw wings on it with permanent marker. “Hey there Topher, what’s shakin’ bacon?” He asked as he put down the instrument. Music was important but, with his guitar in his hand he wouldn’t be able to pay attention to Topher and Gabe found that rude. Went talking to someone (who wasn’t Logan) he wanted to have all his attention on them. Maybe it was his lucky day after all, Topher and singing train in the morning, today couldn’t get much better. |

She giggled while he said it, knowing full well well that school sucked and that he felt just as strongly about it as she did. She did like planning school events and stuff like that, helping the student council with decorating and planning dances and rallies, but other than that, school was a major drag. "I don't know. Because the admin. clearly hate us." It was true, Mandy hadn't slept well that night either, which meant that getting her butt out of bed today to drag herself to school was more of a pain in the ass than usual. It was a good thing that Topher came to get her or she might have been late. Mandy tilted her head a bit towards Theo's hand as it played with her hair. She didn't mind, hell, she actually loved when people played with it. But...stupid Theo was being stupidly cute this morning. He looked adorable, with his hair the way it was and his clothing suiting him perfectly...and 'ugh! Mandy quit it! It's not gonna happen. You're friends, this is just being friendly.' She couldn't help the smile that making it's way across her face as he twirled her hair in his fingers. Truth be told, Mandy had a bit of a crush on Theo. It had been going off and on since about the end of gr. 9. They'd been friends for awhile then and she noticed that 'hey, he's actually kinda cute.' But it was never going to work out between them. She and her track record would proabably never allow her a chance with Theo and really, they had only ever been friends. No more and no less. Though having just broken up with her summer boyfriend last week, being around Theo was making her crush on him come back full tilt. Maybe she should get off his desk and sit beside him instead. "So...anything new happen over the summer while I wasn't hanging with you?" ---- Tyler smirked down at her then bent crouched down to help her out. He was a jerk, but he wasn't some douche who wasn't going to help a girl clean up her stuff. Besides, help the pretty girl, get help from the pretty girl later. Who knows, maybe this was fate, bringing them together for a chance meeting. "I can see that Prez." He hopped around with her, picking up papers and piling them together. He figured if they were out of order, she could just reorder them later. She was organized enough to do it on her own. He finished picking up what he could and got up, waiting for her to return to her upright, standing position. He looked down, for what was only going to be a moment until his eyes found her back side. Was it his fault she was currently on her hands and knees? No. Did that mean he wouldn't enjoy the free show he was getting, absolutely not. Ada was pretty hot for a stuck up, no nonsense, studious girl. Soon though, things would look bad and she'd probably catch him, which was probably not the best thing. He cleared his throat and looked away for a minute until she was back up. "Here ya go Prez. Hope they're not too out of order...wouldn't want more work for you." He was serious about that. You could tell she overworked herself constantly. She needed to get out and relax more and loosen up a bit. ---- This was great. There was someone she actually knew in her first period. Now she wouldn't be bored to tears. Now she just had to remember his name; mornings were not a specialty of hers. He was...wait, she knew this. Early morning memory needed to kick in...Landon. Landon was his name. He was a nice guy from what she got out of the few times they'd hung out together. It was always within a group of friends, and they hadn't realy ever talked, but he did seem nice from what she heard during his conversations with everyone. He was pretty cute too...on a good day. Today he seemed to be ill though, which was the worst thing ever on the first day of school. That was like an overload of info and people while your brain felt like it was melting out your ears already. At elast first days really only consisted of what the course was about and getting to know each other. Maybe this would let her get to know him better. "Hey Landon. You're not lookin' so good. Catch a summer cold?" ---- One thing Topher would never understand was the weird names and sayings Gabe had. He honestly didn't get why he said some of the things he did, they seemed so...out of date. But, it was also one of the things that drew him to Gabe. Gabe was different from a lot of people and didn't really care if people saw that. It was a nice change from what he'd seen in highschool so far. Everything was going good so far. Gabe seemed genuinely pleased to see him, so it wasn't like Topher was really bugging the older guy. That was one thing he didn't want to do to his crush. Topher would do anything to get Gabriel to notice him, but if it was bugging the blonde haired country boy, he'd stop. He'd back the fuck off and stay friends at least. Topher would be fine with being friends if he could stick close to Gabe. He raised an eyebrow at Gabe though and tried to figure out something to say. "Uhhh...just thought I'd say hi before class. Y'know, talk to someone other than Mandy for once." He really only talked to people when necessary unless it was Mandy or Gabe. Everyone else either just didn't interest him or didn't talk to him. ---- This was kind of terrifying. This was Prosper Andrew Jackson's first day of highschool and he had no idea what he was doing. Amelia had gone to highschool for the first 2 years. She fit in great, but Prop...he was a little more than unnerved. Were teacher's going to recognize him as Amelia? He'd cut his hair and started wearing baggy guys clothes. He even went to the Principal with his mom and got everything sorted out and all his documents were changed to say Prosper instead...but would it be good enough? Would it be enough of a change for people to not think of him as her. As far as he was concerned, Amelia was gone, But...would everyone else think the same. To say Prop was freaking out a bit, would be a very big understatement. It was a good thing his first classes were art, that gave him some hope of calming down and just going straight into drawing his problems away. Prop made his way to the art room and took a desk in the corner, taking out his things and just started drawing. He didn't even know what he was drawing right now, probably his back yard or something, but he just, stuck in his music and drew to his hearts content. Edited by Cherub, May 17 2012, 02:08 PM.

She was giggling. It was such a fantastic sound that immediately caused him to smile in response. At least Mandy shared his dislike of school at this point. It was at least one thing they had in common. Then again, they got along quite well. Theo would consider her one of his best friends though he'd never brought her to his house or anything. That was a whole different problem there. Jackson existed there. "What did I do this summer...hmmm. Met a girl crazy for me. Took her bowling in the arcade. We went strolling, drank lemonade. We made out under the dock." He leaned back in his seat with a grin, hoping she'd get the reference. It was one of his favourite movies. He used to watch it with his parents when he was much younger. Back then, he'd dance around in diapers to the songs. There were multiple embarrassing tapes of that. He continued to run his fingers through her hair, enjoying the texture and the smile that spread across her face afterward. Of course, when class started he'd be forced to let go, to let her slip through his fingers once again. It seemed to be a common occurrence for him to have to let Mandy go constantly. The worst had been when she was dating Archie. At least the other relationships were short lived but this one was a constant reminder of what could happen if he ever tried to date her. Not that that was likely otherwise. ~~~~~~~ Damn it. Now Sebastian was licking his lips in a nonchalant kind of way. It was annoyingly distracting. He took another long drag of his cigarette before turning to fully face the vice president. "You should be flattered I'm even still talking to you after you called me a prat. Worst comeback ever." It really was terrible. He could have at least thrown a swear word or two in there. "And what makes you think I'm going to come just because you beg?" The dark haired teen moved closer to his vp, effectively backing him up against the nearest wall. "Let's get something straight here. You don't get to boss me around. Got it Prince?" His eyes narrowed for a moment or two before he backed off and put out his cigarette on the ground below them, not stepping on it to put out the embers. ~~~~~~~ Sienna switched direction, turning her body around to face the opposite direction when she saw him. Archie. The guy she'd been crushing on for an entire year already. The young athlete was not the flirtatious type though, she didn't even really know how to talk to guys and let them know she's interested let alone ask someone out. She pitched forward, catching herself before she fell too far forward, her dark skin flushing slightly when she realized her crush had most likely noticed. She removed the earphones from her ears. Perhaps today would be the day that she actually got a chance to talk to him without interruption. "Oh hey Archie." She tried to play cool but she could feel her hands shaking in mild fear. She wasn't afraid of him but of the rejection. Archie was one of the first guys she'd ever liked, at least in recent years. Originally when she'd started noticing him was when he was dating Mandy. That had thrown her for a loop and had been a major contributing factor to her not asking him out. ~~~~~~~ He looked down at his watch, letting out a small strangled sigh. There was no way he was going to make it back to class on time. Eli began to pick up the papers but the injuries to his hands and knees were worse than he thought. Tears began to pool in his eyes as he tried to wipe them away. His friends must not have known how late the trip was going to make him because surely they couldn't have predicted this. They were his friends, they would never willingly let him be late or anything....right? No, that was a hundred percent honest but he would never badmouth his friends. They had been with him through middle school when he had been the new kid, all on his own. Nobody wanted to talk to him back then until Bryce first said hello. Using his slightly ripped up shirt sleeve, he wiped at the tears that had escaped his eyes as he rocked back to sit cross legged on the ground for a few moments. The small teen needed to take a moment to regain control of the situation before he could gather his papers. Luckily, it wasn't an overly windy day so everything seemed to be staying where it was. ~~~~~~~ Ada Gathering the sheets up wasn't too hard with Tyler's help. He seemed to be genuinely helpful which was never a bad thing. Though if memory served her right, he wasn't the most...studious student. Still, the help was much appreciated. She stood up and ran a hand over her skirt to smooth it out. "Thank you very much Tyler. I'm sure it will only be another hour or two of work..." She sighed looking at the messy pile, knowing it would take away from other work she would need to do but it was her fault and she would take responsibility. Ada looked up at him and smiled brightly before glancing at the nearby school issued clock. "It might be best to get to class now. No sense in being late on the first day. You have math class first, right? I think I remember your name being on the class roster." She looked up at him, suddenly noticing the height difference between them. He was a bit taller than her, enough that she would have to go up on her tiptoes to get anywhere close to eye level with him. Not that it mattered. She had no reason to be at such a height with him. The only time that was necessary between two people was for intimidation or kissing, neither of which was a necessity here. ~~~~~~~ Aria offered a bright smile as she passed Demi in the halls. It wasn't as if they'd hung out or anything. In fact, they'd never even really talked to each other but she found the other girl interesting. Perhaps this year she'd make an effort to talk to her more. Wait, why did she have to wait? Class hadn't started yet, right? There was nothing wrong with going to talk to her now. She changed direction, turning down another hallway that would lead her to where Demi had gone. It was only a few moments and the taller girl was in sight when she saw Mr. Turner, the physics teacher nearby. Aria immediately turned from her confident, fun loving self to a meek little girl in a matter of seconds. Mr. Turner had always had this affect on her like most men did. She never knew why but they scared her. "Ms. Grace. Shouldn't you be on you way to class now? The bell will be ringing soon." He wore a charming smile on his young face. He was one of the youngest teachers and all the girls seemed to be going crazy for him. Aria's friends certainly were. "Y-yes M-Mr. Turner...." She bowed her head and turned to leave before he called out her name. She turned back around to see him holding one of her books. Had she dropped it at some point? Surely she would have noticed that. The brunette shakily walked toward him, grabbing the book before darting off like a scared deer, all thoughts of talking to Demi vanished. ~~~~~~~ Zach felt his jaw tighten. He always instantly hated the guys Blair dated. Instantly. She could have dated the nicest guy in the world(though that was highly unlikely with her track record) and he still would have been pissed off at him. Bryce was incredibly his on the list of guys who's shit he wanted to fuck up though. He had no idea why, but the guy rubbed him completely the wrong way. He was more than satisfied that Blair had dumped his sorry ass. "Told you. My summer was boring as shit. Days full of you teasing me for not having a decent phone. How fun." He tried to deadpan but it was hard not to smile around her. Alright, he'd admit it in his head. He liked this girl. Had been that way since...well there wasn't exactly a turning point that he could pinpoint when his feelings had changed from friendly to romantic. There was just one day when he realized the feelings were there and that he couldn't do a damn thing about it. Zach wasn't about to let her date one of the biggest assholes of all time, him. He also came with a lot of baggage that he wouldn't wish on anyone. "Who'd you sleep with to get that phone anyway? I'd like to give them a call and get one myself." He gave her a wink, shrugging his bag up on his shoulder a bit more since it had slipped. ~~~~~~~ Landon sniffled as she came over, taking a small amount of energy to raise his hand and rub his eyes. "Caught it from my kid brother. He must have picked it up at a play date or something." He wiggled his nose to avoid another sneeze before he continued the conversation. "How was your summer?" It was such a typical question but he found himself genuinely curious. Maybe this way he could get to know her a bit better. Landon was always happy making more friends, especially ones he had things in common with. He tended to jump from social group to social group so he had friends all over the school, he just preferred to hang around people he was closer to. For example, he hung around with Ada sometimes though she was always busy with work. Occasionally, she'd drag him in to help out. When he was sick though, no one really seemed to go near him. Suffering on your own was incredibly boring so he was happy to have Leah's company. Edited by Brooklin, May 18 2012, 02:29 PM.

Sebastian just stared up at Scott’s face, a mixture of fear and shock written all over his pale complexion. “S-Scott...” He looked away. Scott’s attitude was tolerable when he was at least a couple feet away from him but now that Sebastian was up against a wall... everything Scott said actually hurt. He glanced back at Scott for a long moment and that’s when his body just moved, moved on it’s own. He was closing distance between him and the tattooed man and stepping up on his tip toes, hands reaching out, hands now on the other’s cheeks as he pulled him down to press his lips to the other’s for a long blissful moment. Sebastian pulled back and whipped his mouth on the back of his hand and walking back to the door. “Reward system.” He said coldly, trying not to let the other see the hurt that his words had caused. “You come to class... I’ll give you more than just the appetizer.” --- Archie looked up from his weight and pulled out a head phone with his free hand. “Hey, Sienna.” He said with a smile slowly forming on his face. He put down the weight with a loud clunking noise and he glared at the weight as if to be angry for the loud noise and it was its entire fault. “Just the person I wanted to see.” Which was true. Archie had been telling himself since after him and Mandy broke up that it was finally time to fess up to his huge crush on her, and ask her out. “Uh, I was wondering what you were doing on Friday night?” He asked biting his bottom lip. Why not ask her to go out for food and a movie that would be the best idea... right? --- Owen had to pretty much push through the crowd of people in the hallway to get to the front doors and out into the sunlight of the morning. He hated mornings, he rolled his eyes and squinted around for a sign of Eli. “Cunnings!” He yelled as he finally spotted him, jogging up to catch up with him and then coughing a far bit before actually speaking again. “Eli... are you okay?” He asked before looking around and grabbing up the papers in a neat style. Well, as neatly as he could before going over to the boy on the ground. “You really scratched yourself up good...” He muttered before ripping off some of his shirt and starting to treat the other’s wounds. “Look... we need to get these checked out okay, you have dirt in them and that can become gross if they aren’t cleaned... and I don’t want you getting into more pain then you usually do okay, kid?” He said looking through is half moon glasses at him, man he was talking a lot today, maybe not the best thing. --- Blair stuck out her tongue at him. Who’d she sleep with. Honestly, none of her boyfriends had bought her a single thing, they didn’t even usually pay for the dates because her parents were loaded when it came to cash. That’s what happened when your dad was a CEO of a wealthy company and your mother was a designer that usually spent most of her time in New York city. “I didn’t sleep with anyone, ya slug a bug.” She snorted and reached up to push his hair a bit out of his face. “You know that. But if you need a new phone, you could buy my old one off me. I’d give ya a good price cuz you’re my mate after all.” She said and got off her tip toes and shut her locker. “What class do you have first period?” -- Gabriel smiled softly at him; Topher had come out of his way to come and say hi... that was really sweet of him. But would Gabe think it was a more then friend’s thing, no because he was an obvious dolt and that’s how it worked. He sighed softly, the look of love filling up behind his eyes and his ears turning a red colour. “I... oh wow I just. Same here, I was going to seek you out after first period actually.” He scratched the back of his head. “Best idea to not just talk to Logan until lunch right?” “Oh, I wanted to know... what is your favourite music, like song currently... do you have one?” Gabriel looked away slightly embarrassed, after all he just wanted to make Topher happy by using one of his many talents, sing to him a song that he enjoyed. That’d be romantic, right? --- Sergio Gianfranco pushed his brown hair out of his eyes and looked up at the school. He held himself a little timidly, an arm over his chest and hand clutching at his elbow in a slight half hugging action. It had been three years of hiding and now he was free to be himself, thanks to Blair. He owed Blair a shit load... Sergio had slimmed down during the summer and wasn’t Henry’s bulky muscular self anymore. He had lean muscles in his arms now, but his legs were strong soccer legs once more. Everything about him had changed. No more coloured contacts, he wore a pair of black sleek glasses now, his hair was the natural brown now and his eyes were an olive colour instead of the bright blue that they usually had been when he was masquerading as Henry. He bit his lip and made his way into the school, hopefully no one would notice him, recognize him. He made his way to his first period, Art. Something he hadn’t done in years besides the painting. He loved painting. He wasn’t too good at drawing people or fruit but he could paint buildings and landscapes like nobody’s business. Maybe because he had lived in Italy majority of his holidays for his elementary years with his mother and learned to paint there... maybe it was a bit of a talent, but whatever. He slipped into the room and noticed he wasn’t alone. “First day for you too?” He asked, his voice a deep Italian accent, god it had been too long to repress his normal voice that it sounded slightly weird to his ears, foreign... |

Mandy's giggles started up again, this time just a bit softer, not wanting to make a scene or anything with her small fit. She didn't even know that Theo knew what Grease was. She had watched it on the tv with a few ex boyfriends and they just didn't get it, or didn't care. It was a fun movie, one that she loved to sing along to whenever she saw it. It was just too good to pass up. "Who's this mystery girl? Did you stay up till ten o'clock? How much dough did you spend? Meet her at the beach?" She couldn't help fake grilling him on this. She added a few of the lyrics that would come next in the song, just to make sure he knew she was joking, just as a precaution. Theo's fingers running through her hair were making her already tired eyes fall as she placed her elbow on her knee and leaned her head against it so she wouldn't fall straight into him. Though she was sure he wouldn't necessarily mind, and she was positive he would catch her, she still didn't really feel like taking the chance. "I'm glad you had a good summer" ---- Tyler gave her a small, lopsided smile, tilting the right side of mouth up when she took the papers. She didn't look at all pleased that she would have to re-sort the pile of papers, but he guessed that she would have spent hours doing her work anyway. Man, this girl really needed to relax sometime. Go to the mall and get food from the food court and shop or something, or even just people watch. It was surprisingly peaceful, maybe they could hang sometime, he could take her, get her to lighten up, who knows? Then there was the mention of first period. He'd been currently walking in the opposite direction of first period when she'd bumped into him and was hoping to get away with not going...wait, she was just the school president, she couldn't make him go. The most she could say was that she'd seen him this morning. "Actually Prez, I don't think I do. I think I have first period in the cafeteria funnily enough." ---- "That sucks. I hate when Casey-she's my cousin-gives me her colds. She always manages to get one, give it to me or mom, then either I give it to mom or my aunt, they'll give it to each other, then it always ends up back to me again. It's the worst." But that's what happened when you had a crappy immune system after inhaling toxins and chemicals and tar. Your body starts to hate you after awhile and just kinda, gives up the fight, tormenting you as pay back. She looked over at Landon and thought about what to say to him. She hadn't actually done anything interesting that summer. Most of it was spent taking Casey to the park, or hanging out at home...looking after Casey or really just doing anything while looking after Casey because she was her responsibility while Leah's mom and aunt worked. She honestly didn't mind though. As much as Leah liked her friends and liked being around them, she wasn't necessarily a social person. She also really didn't talk much, so why she had kept with this conversation with Landon was beyond her. "Babysat. A lot. But it's all good, she's a real sweetie and really easy to look after. We also went to the beach a lot, which was nice. What about you?" Now she was invested in this conversation, and genuinly wanted to know how he had spent his summer. ---- He twitched the left side of his mouth up a bit, probably the closest he'd get to actually smiling out in public and agreed with Gabe. "Right. Good to branch out, right?" Maybe this was going to work out. Gabe could be dense, he'd noticed that, but he didn't look perturbed by his prescence nor did it seem like Topher was bothering him much. That was always a bonus. He had to think though, what was his favourite music? He was a big fan of Thousand Foot Crutch and System of a Down. There was also Linkin Park, Green Day and a few others. His current favourite song? That was a horrid question to ask him, he had no freaking clue. "Um...I guess my favourite song right now is anything by Disturbed or Linking Park? Or how about Prayer of a Refuge by Rise Against." He didn't know what this was for, but he wasn't about to give him anything too weird or difficult. It was a good song and most people who listened to it liked it. ---- Prop hadn't actually been paying attention to his surroundings. He rather liked getting lost in his art, drawing and sketching whatever he saw in his head or whatever caught his attention. He wouldn't've even heard or even paid any attention to the brunette by him if he hadn't been leaning back in his chair to inspect what he'd done so far and if his music had stopped momentarily to go to the next song. Prosper took his ear buds out of his ears and hung them around his neck as he turned towards the voice. To be honest, the guy looked a little intimidating. He was a lot taller than Prop was-though he'd never be a tall boy-and his voice was deep and appealing. It was one of those voices you could listen to for hours, but that wasn't the reason Prosper was currently staring at the boy. This guy had the same facial structure as Henry, the ass, McCormick. Henry had been the school bully and hockey star, making him practically untouchable. Prosper was terrified of Henry and his gang. They were the type of people to go up to someone different or if they plain just didn't like them, and stuff them into the garbage can or the dumpster out back. They were the kind of people to humiliate or beat the crap out of people like him and he really didn't want that to happen. So as much as the guy had a slightly different muscle build and different height, even different posture, the height and the face was making him shy away slightly. But he didn't know what would happen if he didn't answer so he did so quickly and sort of awkwardly. "Uh...y-yeah...new" He felt bad that he was pretty much blowing this guy off, but you did what you had to do to survive. Edited by Cherub, Jun 4 2012, 02:05 PM.
