Well, I do pay attention to the tutorials that crop up during the game (esp. if I'm starting a new series) but I'm not really one for reading manuals. Partly because I'm lazy and don't take these games that seriously but also because I think things are less fun when you do too much research/reading beforehand. I like to be surprised.

You two can p. much start a debate about anything. It's meant to be. :P
You don't really need to, tbh. Dragon's Dogma's system is pretty easy and it's all explained in-game, and it's actually pretty intuitive, so I picked it up almost immediately. It's basically like every RPG ever, but with a "choose your own party" system.

SH, definitely. DD is fun, but SH has a depth and originality to it that made it so much more rewarding.

Also, you should add my PSN when you figure it out. :spy:

Not unless you tell them that it's kind of necessary; most people - when trying out a new genre - want a game they can pick up and play fairly easily that doesn't require too much thinking before you even start playing. Which is why I think KoA is a better rec than DD for bbcakes since she specifically stated she wants to get away from stress - being bombarded with manuals and tutorials just adds on to it lol.

It's just my personal opinion on it, and I don't think it's weird at all given what bbcakes seems to want out of a game.
Right, okay. Most people I know think that's a stupid point of view and that they want a game that's fun but challenging with an innovative system that requires a learning curve and at least some level of thought, which is why games like FFXIII are frowned upon. I guess if you're catering to the crowd that wants everything in the game handed to them on a plate, then that's a reasonable perspective to have, but they don't make the manuals for aesthetic purposes...

I read it that she wants a fun game, which doesn't necessarily have to entail making everything pants-on-head retarded and simplistic for children. SC and Tekken still require a learning curve to learn the character styles properly and get the most out of a game, and she's played (and presumably enjoyed) those.

Obvs I could be mistaken, but.
Alright then, Arti.

think that applies more to arti than orange tbh but they both at least know how to debate.
tho it looks as if this was just orange offering her opinion about something harmless
and arti turning it into "youre stupid and beneath me" debate and hilarious as it is read its also ineffective and condescending as fuck

That might be never lol :P

Really I'm not good with technology (not like Sica but still). I had to have someone else hook up my old VCR to the new TV

Coincidentally, one my biggest turn ons is watching people sort out my cables/tech for me. :$

I was actually reluctant to give any input because I actually find their debates very entertaining/fun to read. ^_^

I'm like that with computers, although I know... Some stuff, I guess. My friend has a doctorate in computer engineering and I'm just constantly in awe of his computer knowledge.

Basketball makes me annoyed because of how tall they are.

And, welp, Vancouver lost. I should go to sleep, then. :dramaqueen:

But I thought Arti's comments/questions were directed at Yuwree so she wanted her to see/reply? You guys aren't really asking any questions, just bitching. But yeah I guess this is the right thread if you're gonna do it. It reminds me of when some anons came and bitched about SC and whoever else, makes me kinda uncomfortable so I suggested you spoiler it but you're gonna do what you're gonna do.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

DA

if you want something constructive for arti here is my comment:

@artichoke i used find you okay when she first started posting in the forum because even though you still had trouble backing down from an argument you were less condescending about it. now all you do is post an ~edgy~ opinion about snsd and it wanks up the thread and you've become really condescending towards whoever is disagreeing with you and ig it's a two way street but i think alot of people are starting to associate your attitude with your opinion and replying with hostility because of it.

i haven't been on in awhile but it annoyed the shit out of me one time you decided to shit stir tiffany thigh wank when some other wank was already going on.

SA by inline skating i just mean like moving from one place to another and not skating aggressively

the dilemma i'm having rn is whether i should invest in a good pair of inline skates bc they're expensive. my main goal is to be able to skate along the beach sidewalk by summer.

@skating!anon-- Uh...how exactly does one skate aggressively?
But, yes, I used transport myself from point A to point B on skates as a pre-teen for funsies. I picked it up last year no problem after <15min of wobbly time, so I think you'll be fine. Can't do tricks any more though. :(

cool! what brand of skates did you get? i'm thinking of buying a pair but i don't know where to start.

skating aggressively is like grinding and doing air tricks on half pipe and bowls, which i have no interest in lol
