I'd say balcony, then, and share yo pictures with us plebeians. Do the main floor tickets restrict your seating to certain seats? If not, you can just leap on one of the first few rows and see if you can find a convenient gap between two of the tall-ass people who will inevitably sit in front of you. I got front row seats when I saw them because there wasn't any ticket-based seating and I got there like an hour early, hurr hurr.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one ![]() Ohh!!! I'm watching a game play of Bioshock infinite and it's so good the guy who plays it is very funny imo, he's very passionate so he says lots of: NOOOO, motherfuckers! and I love to watch minecraft game plays, specially the hunger games. that's awesome, when I was a kid my brother bought his first game console which was supernintendo, and he played donkey kong country, I totally loved that game, but I'm super clumsy with the joysticks so I ended up watching him play. Now I want to watch a game play of final fantasy!! (added to the must watch list) me too, but I have a thing for people who just play the game intensely, it makes it more enjoyable, if they feel like screaming or talking about random stuff while playing that's cool for me. |

have you ever had to cancel and order from dvdheaven? I accidentally made two transactions for the same item. I emailed them right away. But I'm still freaking out. How long does it usually take for them to respond? :creys: |

If they have a gaming competition in your area go and watch the final. I remember watching warcraft semi and final in state level. Eventhough I don't know the heros it was fun and exciting to see the match. I sometimes watch a random starcraft match in youtube. |

I hated the majority of her policies but I liked her as a person because she was so boss. She didn't let anybody tell her what to do and wouldn't hesitate to scorn your ass if you couldn't tell shit from clay. I remember watching a documentary about the Cold War where she was in a discussion with Gorbachev and essentially said to him, "if you try invading Britain... ...Well, just don't". What a classy lady. I also like that she had an insatiable appetite for power. Me too.

Earlier today, I was browsing through Instagram and it made me realize how boring my life is. Usually I avoid Social networking sites because they make me feel lonely and left out. But I was curious today and looked at my cousins and friends photos and they look like they are having fun traveling, partying, and eating great foods while im here doing homework at home. I want to experience college life, go out, and have fun too! But my social skills suck and I have overprotective parents that won't let me go anywhere unless it involves school... I am so glad that I have Soshi to cheer me up when i feel lonely!

She never expected to be prime minister though. It was a complete surprise, she hadn't even thought about the possibility. Nothing is ever as bad or as good as people make it out to be, that's how I always treat this situations involving media, masses and mobs. Thatcher was not that bad and Obama is not that great. I haven't studied her policies in detail, so I wouldn't make a comment regarding them, but my political tutors do comment that the media and the 'people' have judged her unfairly. Also, the people who criticize and celebrate her death do so already from a biased stance and are not the people that are the ones reading the economic journals, the social studies. This is not to say that they cannot have opinions, everyone can and should, but we all should also be aware of our margin of errors and of the possibility that it is ourselves that are under false impressions/façade/discourses of truth I also find it really sad how some people were so against her alma mater naming something after her (and also the business centre)- i also hold a strong person opinion against those people- the type that go around putting forward motions to abolish the high table and cry 'elitist' and 'classist' at every fucking thing. Then they go off and write articles for the daily mail about how awful and obnoxious oxford people and you just want to ram their faces against a mirror and be like 'here's your red-trouser twat right her'. In some ways, MT was once an undegrad, she went to uni had fun, probably had the best years of her life there, made friends and later, she wasn't even to return to her alma mater, when she is probably one of their most famous alumni if not the most famous. That always makes me sad. Even if you hated her, you can think of it as voldemort at hogwart. Also, MT was elected democratically by the people, you can't just turn around and be 'fuck her, good that she's dead' when the people under her mandate where the ones that chose her by majority and later where the ones that expressed her will to resign. Tell me what this booing and heckling by people who weren't even born and probably have no idea of all of her policies is meant to achieve except to highlight that the UK must not be as civilized a civic society as some like to claim. I don't have enough knowledge to make an overall comment on her political performance but from what I see, it seems she will be one of those characters in history that will have to wait some time for a fair trail. It is strange though that international press is very pro-thatcher, in temrs that they admire her character, placing her second only to churchill, and some of these articles are written by academics and not tissue-waving journalists. As Plato stated, 'nobody knowingly does evil' |

^^ I meant towards the end of her so-called reign. Party members are in full concurrence that she was letting power get to her head a little, and credit to her for stepping down with such dignity with how vitriolic people turned after how polarised she, as a topic, became. Also, just because I disagree with the majority of most of her politics and her political decisions doesn't mean I can't see and respect the logic behind them. You also have to be able to see that the distance of some of these international presses have, which you say increases their objectivity, might also limit their perspective. In addition, academics are as subject to bias as national press is, albeit in a different way, as I'm sure you'll concede, and you also admit that they speak purely in terms of her character rather than her policies, and her policies are what influenced life here so drastically, and that's what most people remember her for. She can be a pretty damn fine lady, which I think she is, and enact potentially disastrous policies that only worsen the economic downturns and wreak chaos on the systems that most people consider a defining trait of what it is to be properly British, such as the NHS and our social security. I agree with her limiting the power of the unions, but most of her policies I consider to be alright if you know why she did them, but terrible in practice, such as the privitisation. Most of the hate I've heard about Thatcher is actually from people who lived through the 80s and experienced her policies first hand, such as the miners' strikes and the riots. The young people don't seem to care that much other than making jokes about privitising her funeral because that's what she wanted. Which is true. Also, just because Socrates said it doesn't make it true. Ignorance doesn't excuse everything. Edited by Artichoke, Apr 9 2013, 02:19 AM.
