That's the most stupid thing I heard all day. I knew about the forum several hours after it got created which was several minutes after I woke up from my nights rest, and not because of links that were posted on the TLC. |

The irony is your partaking in the result that you were aiming to discourage. |

Does not take away from the irony. Like a police officer who becomes a drug dealer after retirement. |

I always wanted to join this forum, from day one. There are several members from TLC that i'm quite close to, and some anons as well. It's not like I see everyone who joined here as my enemy, it's quite the contrary. I Didn't join straight away because I knew people would react like you, I wanted to keep the peace. I thought after all this time people could be civil, but guess not.

Why do you feel like you need to register? Not to discourage you from that, but I'm genuinely curious. If I were in your position, I would've really felt awkward doing so. It seems like with the people that you're close to, you could've just asked them for their contact information and just interacted with them in that venue instead. |

Sorry to butt in, I want to add something! Windmill was following the rules from TLC strictly, she was tough yes; but you also have to admit TLC was a bit cray cray sometimes. Also, the ppl holding a grudge on her... well it's up to you girls, but it makes no sense since she's not a mod in here (and I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want such job again lol), she's just a regular member from this forum. Why continue the hurt of the butt attitude towards her? We should just start from scratch and have fun! Just my opinion

Honestly I'd just like her to shed some light on her thought process. Why does she feel the need to be identifiable? She could've registered under a different name or just gone anon, and if she really wanted to catch up with a bunch of peeps she's never met before in real life there are plenty of ways to do that that won't draw the attention of people she's offended before. From my perspective it's like burning yourself with a cigarette, painful and pointless. |

I dunno. Maybe Wind doesn't really see why she shouldn't sign up with her username, since she was just enforcing the rules in her own way and what happened is a fair bit in the past. She could also want people to know it's her to assign a sense of responsibility to herself, so that she'll be held accountable for what she says and everyone is familiar with her. I'm pretty sure I've annoyed a fair few Regs and Anons in my time, but I signed up with this handle regardless. Just a personal decision, I suppose - I can certainly see why some users from TLC might change their usernames due to backlash in the past. I'm sure that's happened here. |

I think it's great that she decided to register under the same name tbh. Shows a lot of character imo. Why be a coward and post as an anon just because you're not liked that much? Then again, it's just what I perceive

I don't see what's so wrong about posting as anon, especially if you're not particularly keen on developing a relationship with anybody on here. At the end of the day, these are just a bunch of people on the internet. But I guess that's important to some people. |

The principle. A bunch of people on the internet are still people, at the end of the day. |

Well, you never know what's on her mind anon, maybe she wants to develop a relationship with others. Might be a bit difficult tho since a couple members in here have done nothing but to neglect her in a way. And like artichoke said, ppl is ppl in the end! Why do you take place in a forum anyway? you expect ppl/strangers to reply to you, right? If you participe in this forum on a constant level must be because it is very important to you... and what makes a forum enjoyable? Internet ppl. ----- Come here anon, give me a hug :teehee: Edit: And yes, you're right! I felt like butting in and I let myself go by the conversation. Keep going

Not really, I'm here for Soshi, as a fan. It's my duty as a fan to have interesting discussions about them on the internet, whether people reply is irrelevant. If I were their last fan on earth, I'd gladly have discussions with myself about them. People talking about them on the internet is their bread and butter. |

It's a forum not a PM system with just you and Windmill so of course others will posts their views like it's their 'right'. I'm cool that Windmill is here under her own name, the forum was created like 2 months ago time to move on and stop beating dead horses.

Because it's a public forum and we're free to input if we so choose.
Eh, I uploaded the Giazotto video because I couldn't find the Philharmonic version of Adagio for Strings & Organ. |

Yeah, isn't that inconvenient for unregistered people who want to talk to each other one-on-one? We obviously can't use PMs. |

Nope, if you cared so much about having the 1-1 ability you would register. There is pro and con to being anon just like pro and con to being reg, you pick what is best. |

Anon, you can't have a discussion by yourself, unless you have schizofrenia. So, yeah! it is important that ppl actually reply to you. ---- And since you're so chatty, care to share about your music taste? or are you only into soshi?

Can't we institute some kinda system, like add @Windmill when we're specifically addressing a person? I mean, it's obviously still visible on a public forum so it can't be anything obscene, but that just signifies that you're addressing someone directly. It also signifies to other people that it would be a breech of etiquette for them to butt in on the conversation, which they can still do (since it's not against the rules) but the butter-in would know that they're butting into a conversation meant for two people. |

da What do you mean? Both are right? What I don't get is Zed saying Isotopes was banned, she was posting anon mode in the LG thread and I saw Isotopes logged in yesterday. Look to me like she can't post but still log in so that is not ban. :wat2: |

We have a kind of system to specifically address a person. It's called PM, which is available to all registards.
Shizophrenia doesn't necessarily involve talking to yourself, and I don't think it's counted as a symptom. Might be wrong, but depending on what kind of shizophrenia you have, it's all to do with flattening or delusions. You might be thinking of dissociative identity disorder, or referring to the "internal voice" some people talk about when experiencing positive symptoms. |

In real life, it's common courtesy if two people are talking to each other, other people who aren't involved in the conversation should just mind their own business. This isn't really an exclusive registered privilege; it's normal social behavior. |
