tell me about the worst things you think of your country
do you mean some sort of perceived behavior, or something more tangible?

I'm curious, what did y'all want to be when you were younger? did your aspirations change?

when I was little, I wanted to either be an astronaut or a truck driver  I guess what I do now didn't deviate too far from me wanting to be an astronaut. It's still space-related, but lol i'd never pass the fitness exams for astronauts

I wanted to be a veterinarian or a special education teacher
I love animals, but I've never seen myself opening up an animal even if it´s for the animal own good so I quitted that idea. The special education teacher because some of my dad´s friends are deaf, so when I was little their taught me the sign language. I used to play with their kids who were loosing their hearing. I got attached to them and to the idea but after growing up a little bit more I found what I love the most ^_^

Okok

Define social scene, cause I'm not sure if you mean campus life or outside of campus life.
Let me know what program you're looking into cause each school has its strength.
Have you gotten any acceptances to either yet? Keep in mind that both UofT and UW are notorious for sending acceptances very late ( around june) compared to other schools like York which lets you know 30 minutes after you apply.

OPPS my bad didn't see you that youre applying next year.
In general UofT is easier to get accepted to except for a few programs. The overall min acceptance grade was 4% higher when I was applying 3-4 years ago. You should definitely apply to 4-5 universities, I would include queens and western.

Ahh yeah I meant campus life haha.
UW is probably my first choice, and I'm probably going into one of those co-op business programs or maybe even the double degree
but it's pretty flexible right now; I'm still all over the place with trying to figure out what I want to apply to

Guys, I'm freaking out and oddly calm at the same moment.
Our short movie from last year will be competing for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

I'm like, hyperventilating, but I can't move at the same time.

I don't think we'll win, but to even be considered. Wow.

Let me list to you why i personally chose UW over UofT ( I was accepted to both)
. The campus is much more student friendly, everything is enclosed within the school boundaries as opposed to UofT which is located DT Toronto.
. The campus life is as good as you want it to be. If you go out and try and meet people then you'll have a great time. There's tons of clubs for every taste and lots of organizations for extra-curricular.
. If you're looking for co-op then you HAVE to go to UW. Its what the school is famous for. However you mentioned business, UW doesn't have business programs but only joint ART programs IN business unlike UofT which has its own School of Business.
.UW Is famous for its accounting, computer science, and engineering ( don't apply to this, unless engineering is the love of your life, cause it cannot be overstressed how much work and effort those programs are, first year engis have 50+ hours of class per week including labs.
.We have newly renovated environment buildings which are simply splendid, the interior is gorgeous and there's plenty of room to study or just relax. THey also have a great cafe that makes the best coffees.
Overall I would choose a university based on your program preference.
If you do come to UW I might even see you as I'm a frosh leader for first years!
.First year if you live on campus will easily be the best time of your life. Try to apply and live in Ron Edyt Village, I wouldn't go as far as calling it a party dorm but everyone is very social and the cafe food is surprising good.
Let me know if you have more questions I love promoting my school (:

I'm aiming more towards accounting if I go to UW right now, but it's more of the thing that I like the university itself more and it's away from home lol
Oh yeah but for the business programs, it'd be one of those math/business programs that I was thinking of
Thanks for all the tips :D

Out of curiosity, what program are you in?
