We probably don't have spiders as big as the ones in Australia, but we have our share of monsters, like the camel spider and the goliath bird eater spiders.

When I went to Chiapas last year, I stayed in a hut about 10 meters away from the jungle and we very often saw big assed red & black spiders roaming around, they were as big as my hand. I didn't know which kind they were so I didn't dare to get too close to them. They were really pretty though.

oh I will never ever find them beautiful, they just scared the shit outta me haha. The thing is with Australia, these spiders are residing in houses, acting like they share the rent with us lol. Just like Babycakes mentioned above, they just suddenly popped outta nowhere in your belongings, inside your shoes, in the corner of your cupboards or just jumped on you while you're in your living room (I have experienced this myself =_= )

but at least they dont fly though, like roaches YUCK!!!

I've always liked spiders, lol. In fact, I like most animals and find them fascinating, even roaches, lol. If I didn't love drawing above everything else, I would've probably end up becoming a zoologist or at least a vet.

Maybe I would like spiders if they were being nice to me in the past :'( haha

Animals are fascinating indeed, wish people would learn more from them. Hey that's cool, I always admire people who can draw as I cant draw for shit :ermm:

It's quite unsophisticated, yes. And I'm from Melbourne. What about you, when you were in the country?

And sorry to here that the spiders have been mean to you. :alright:

oh no no, what I meant was I just returned to my home town last year hahaha, sorry for the unintentional ambiguity lol. Haha yeah same here, I wasn't into kpop back then, one of my friends actually went and bought the most expensive tix (it was around AUD$ 300, and he actually flew to sydney, so that amount didn't include the flight and the accommodation fee :blinkwide: ). I was like, dude you crazy, spending that much money just for kpop...well look where I am now hey  . I guess you shouldn't hate something too much cus you might end up liking it hahaha

well apparently Yuri would love to visit Melbourne, so just gotta keep an eye out :shifty:

girl you have no idea how much respect I have for you Australian adventurers!!! here if I went with a girlfriend on a field trip or to a summer house etc, the worst it can get is maybe a small viper in the sun on the side of a road (but the types here are not lethal to healthy adults, you just go to hospital to pretty much ease the pain lol) if you see a boar in the forest that's the height of excitement and "danger" LOL

and in Australia? deadly spiders, deadly snakes, if you go have a swim - stingers... omg

you forgot white sharks

actually I'm not that adventurer myself (boohoo), but I heard many stories off my friends (and I used to work in hospitality too), that's how I got to know all these places. But yeah, if we wanna talk bout snakes, spiders, creepy looking bug, Australia is the place
