^ See, that just looks weirdly and unnecessarily unfitting, like you just picked up the first bag you saw without giving any thought to how it compliments what you're wearing, and it clashes completely with the otherwise subdued style. We probably just have different tastes. |

^ See I would've said the bag gave the woman an edgier look than an otherwise sedate outfit. But yeah, agree to disagree. I think we do have different fashion opinions. |

Yep! Which is probably a good thing - if we all had the same ideas about "good fashion", it'd probably never evolve and everyone would look the same. I like you. |

so this is random but i just checked the kpop thread and saw something about new sm artist and like unclothed male bodies are really unattractive (almost repellent) to me, and i don't hate guys or anything but sometimes just wanna tell them to put a shirt on. am i weird or is this when you know unequivocally that you're gay?? srs qn |

I think they're interesting because of their different builds and musculature, but I also think that they're weirdly unattractive. They're just so... like, boxy, like a cement brick. idk it's weird, I feel uncomfortable with male shirtlessness. |

i'm not uncomfortable with male shirtlessness per se, i'm just don't find them appealing in the least. i can get romantically attached to a guy and think he's charming but will not be sexually attracted to him in the slightest, which seems very incongruent and impractical to me :/ sexuality is weird |

Seems perfectly reasonable to me. Sexual attraction is your sexuality, so... I'd think you can be romantically attracted (idk what this even means, isn't that just close friendship?) to someone without that changing you from gay to bi, or something. Although I just know someone is going to try and correct me on that. Whatever. |

i suppose it depends on your definition of sexuality, which for some incl. components of both sexual and romantic attraction and just the sexual part for others. i define romantic attraction as an emotional bond/affection that you share with someone that is different to that of friendship. it's not that it doesn't make sense but i would find it very inconvenient to want to have a relationship with someone (which conventionally involves sex) but be unable/willing to perform in this regard. |

I consider sexual attraction to be sexuality because everything else seems, to me, to be either a separate but connected aspect that has more to do with personal preference than anything. How can something that isn't sexual at all be a part of sexuality? A relationship doesn't necessarily entail sex, so I don't really see the point in making a distinction. If you want to date someone but don't want to have sex, just talk to them and make that clear so you can date on those terms. I don't see the need for an additional label. ._.7 |

But that kind of relationship without sexual attraction is just friendship, a deep one. |

I think the link between sexual and romantic attraction is more relevant for demisexuals or whatever you call those people that only become sexually attracted to people they've fallen in love with. And from general observation, it's quite challenging to maintain a long-term relationship with someone who is sexually attracted to you (whom you're unwilling to have sex with)(I only need to think about how difficult it is to maintain a friendship with someone who is clearly attracted to you). I'm sure it works for some people (and this was definitely a hypothetical situation) but it seems a little unfair for both parties who really have a right to satisfactory sex lives. |

I really, really can't understand demisexuality. Like, I just can't understand why it's a thing. Are you sexually attracted to the opposite sex? You're heterosexual. Are you sexually attracted to both sexes? You're bisexual. Are you sexually attracted to the the same sex? You're homosexual. Are you sexually attracted to no sexes? You're asexual. Why do you need a label for anything else? It's so... Like, what the Hell is left to be sexually attracted to?! Aliens? And I understand that point, but then I feel like that's just something you'd have to work out together, like anything else in a relationship. If it doesn't work for you, then stop it. If it does, then carry on. |
