Been here for just over 3 months :c

And The soju I had tonight was odourless D: I liked it much more than I thought I would (I was expecting something really strong like Vodka)
When I first tasted soju, I thought I was drinking Sm!rn0ff vodka. Then again, I'm a noob when it comes to spirits.

So how cold is it in Melb? I'm counting down the days until I go back. Hello proper city :run:

Yeah actually, the Melbourne street photos on inst4gr4m have been pretty good lately. I was wondering if the weather had been nice in the day.

I'm still raging about Victorian public transport prices. I'm poor. Y u take my moniesss.

SA kinda wins with public transport. Concession 2hr ticket on-peak is like $1.20 or $1.40. Win. But I understand your pain. :alright:

Oh yeah, you work at the law courts, right? How is that?

@Rexie: Don't get me started on Myki. It's just farking ridiculous.

One of my English friends was telling me about that when I was complaining about public transport prices. Made me cringe. You guys have it hard :alright:

Yeah, i'm gonna give my 2 weeks notice in a few weeks, I need a PT job asap :(

I come from Queensland and the GO!Cards are actually really good there, a bus trip 5km would cost me $0.68 on concession and I didn't even have to touch my card to the actual terminal, it happened almost instantly from a few inches away.

Worst part about MyKi's was the confusion, Some people from Yarra trams tell you to tap off, others tell you not to tap off, shit is cray >.> And it takes way too long to actually happen.

Freaking got caught in year 12. Like, I was just this close to graduating and not needing to tram into bloody zone 2 but nooo.. stupid inspectors had to catch me one fateful morning when I forgot to validate my zone 2 metcard (because I'm old school like that).

They learned a bit of psychology i guess, it comes with the training spotting body languages and all hahahah, they somehow always knew who got the tix and who dont. I prefer metcard really and Sunday is my fav day to travel, 4 bucks babaaaaay hahahaha. I ALMOST got caught during that transition time from metcard to bloody myki. I was on a tram and had my headphones on, didnt realise there's a sudden influx of people getting off the tram at the same time (those cheapskates) LOL. Next thing I knew, there's an inspector standing in front of me asking for my tix, swear my blood was drained out of my body. So i was like, ok this is it, im gonna get fined then handed him my untouched myki. The dude looked at it and was like, ok thanks and left. OOOOOHHHH GAAAWWWWDDDDDD, I turned into jelly on my seat, I always touched on after that =_= =_= =_=

Woahhh. Lucky break! (I would've totally been one of the people getting off the tram. )
I should probs just get my ass into gear and finally get my Ps. None of this myki business. Especially when I want to make a food trip to Box Hill.

My entire family is originally from BH a few years ago, apparently they've got a ball ass Korean resteraunt.

Don't remind me about licenses, I had an exemption for my 100 hours in QLD to take the p's test but i've been here longer than 3 months and I now somehow need to book an appointment with vicroads to covnert my queensland learners permit over to a victorian learners permit.

But the only Time I can call vicroads to make an appointment (which I can apparently only do over the phone) is during my half an hour lunch break and their waiting time is always 40+ minutes =_=

if you calculate the amount of ticket prices, the time you lost due to late pts, it's definitely cheaper and better to drive, it's just crazy. I only been to bh once, so tempted to play "spot the caucasian"  ...asians...asians everywhereeeee

Oh really? Tbh, I only really go to BH because it's the closest Asian place to my place. So I just run over there, have a meal and pick up some kimchi. Kingsway huh? I'm so out of the food scene in general. I'm going to have to go on a massive food safari during the summer break. Point out some good restaurants for me, o fellow Melburnians. :worship:

oh shit that's hardcore!! that junction is always busy, even during off peak. The thought of jamming a 4 way road junction roamed with trams and cars, makes me shudder :ghost:
