This person clearly didn't believe in either/or, it's and, as in steak AND mac and cheese.

OK, time to get off the food tag.

I don't know if any of you Mexicans have heard about this one, said to happen to any driver who is about to fall asleep on the wheel. Supposedly it is the ghost of a woman who died in a terrible car crash herself and at first she will appear right in front of the car and get run over again, then when the driver sees that there is nothing there and goes on on his way, she will appear on the backseat of their car watching them through the rearview mirror.

The town I used to live in (Maryborough) was the only settlement in Australia to ever have the plague. I think it was about 30 people died in total and of those people were two nurses who volunteered to treat the other victims so they werent literally 'Left For Dead'.

All the patients were qurrantined into a wooden hall with a single door and window, and every day the head constable of the police would walk up to the window and check for signs of life.

After about 5 days, under police orders, the hotel was ordered to be torched after the chief constables daily check, all accounts said he was visibly shaken and demanded whole heartedly that the building be burnt as a 'preventative measure'

The only remaining traces were the two burnt husks of the nurses and a large pile of bones.

When the mourners went to inform one of the nurses husbands, they founds his days old, half eaten corpse still tied suvmissivly to the bed.

Anyone been on a cruise?

What's the best cruise line you've traveled with? Where did you travel? And how was the food?

Man, I am so hungry right now.
I have. I hated it. I'll never go again. I have so many paranoid neuroses that are triggered by being in a cruise-type situation. Everything is buffet on a cruise, and I hate buffets so much all I can think of is "SO MANY GROSS FINGERS HAVE BEEN TOUCHING THIS FOOD" and then I can't eat it.

I don't like germs....

Never hear of that one, sounds a bit like that movie Km 31, but man Desierto de los Leones is a really creepy place.

Roy@l C@rribean. It wasn't just the food thing, I find cruises super cliche and touristy. I prefer to try and live like locals do, especially when I'm in a major city. That way I can pick up and move if I want, and come and go like I please, and do what I wish.

Hmm.

True but if you don't want to do the whole exploring routine, you just want to get away from it all and have everything at your beck and call I think it's a good choice.

I find going on a cruise if you want to truly explore the ports of call to be extremely stupid, you won't get to explore much at all and the excursions seem pricey too me.

But as a no brainer, I just want to be IDGAF for the next few days, it's good. Depends on the cruise line I think, not all have the same aim and general clientele.

Not gonna talk about more ghosts? What about the Aka Manto? He's said to haunt the bathroom stalls, so if you walk into an empty bathroom stall alone, be sure to take care that you don't hear any voices asking you whether or not you prefer red or blue. If you choose blue, the Aka Manto will hang you until your body turns blue from asphyxiation, but if you choose red, he will shear your skin from your body so that you bleed out slowly until you die, and your body looks red. If you don't answer or give another colour, he'll drag your soul down to Hell to torture you for the rest of eternity.

fuck arti, i just read the first few words and had to scrolled down straight away!!! my colleague just had a bad experience with the said entity recently...and im still a bit freaked out by it
Pontianak encounters are 100% fatal, she was probably seeing things.

I think it's easy to be a skeptic when you dont actually live in the environment and havent had people around you who experienced such thing first hand. All the above descriptions are pretty spot on, cept the clawing ovaries part lol and that nailing on the neck thing, never heard of those at all. One of my previous colleague had a very high fever for no reason after a very unexpected encounter with it, she went to a doctor and nothing was wrong with her. And another recent one was this dude at work who got followed by it all the way to his house. He didnt actually see it but he's been smelling this weird smell for quite some time, even his roommate was aware it too. Thankfully I have never had an encounter with this entity (KNOCK ON THE BIGGEST WOOD), but I used to be able to see ghosts when I was little, but the ability gradually dissipates as I grew older.

Well at the end of the day, you believe what you wanted to believe and each to their own

A lot of that is probably psychosomatic illness and self-induced hallucinations on a minor scale.

It's possible, though! :ghost:

I just want to eat all the food so bad
