I think it's getting better vamp brethren, if they start that shit again just a gentle reminder. Doesn't work, time to direct them to official posts.

da, even if we don't take torturing animals into account, all that meat only wastes Earth's resources, plus it's full of antibiotics I heard some rich people say they only eat game

Wild Child is on television. Usually I can't stand these type of chick flicks, this movie however is actually pretty enjoyable.

I love dinosaurs more than you ever will. You can't take this away from me just because you have a username that potentially references the most well-known dinosaur.

You know what wastes Earth's resources? Humanity. Earth's resources won't be in a better state just because more cows are alive. There will always be a cost of feeding humanity whether flora or fauna. Some people like game meat, good for them.

Not to mention, cows and the like that're killed for their meat have been artificially selected by humans to have more attractive meat and won't be able to survive evolutionary pressures if we just left them, so they'd die out anyway. |

I can scroll and do so all the time, however I don't feel the need to sugarcoat telling people to take their shit to where it belongs. I can scroll but since it's irrelevant to the SNSD thread, I shouldn't have to do so. I am a Vampire Ninja Samurai. |

Exactly, for the most part we have "domesticated" the meats we eat. Releasing them all like some half-baked Free Willy would only end in their inevitable death just like it would happen with an animal raised in captivity. |

...Vampire Ninja Samurai does sound a lot more badass than Vampire Dinosaur, I admit. At least we can spread vampirism to different species this way, though!! |

the large numbers of domesticated animals are artificially maintained - they waste tons of water for example if the demand in meat decreases, breeding rates will also decrease, nobody would just be releasing cows into the wild regarding antibiotics, overprescription of antibiotics and meat are major causes for the emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria things are not so simple, I think that people who eat meat should also be aware of this stuff article for those interested to read how meat productions drains recources |

Naima was ok. her personality just isn't for television, I think. I didn't think Kahlen was very pretty, she was just avg looking imo. Jade was probably my favorite, although not b/c I liked her but b/c she was so bizarre and so draggy

You've just explained why it's logical to keep domesticated animals - there's a high demand for them. Demand results in supply. It's not "wasted" water, if that water is paid for and supplied as per protocol. Sure, it might be bad business practice to monopolise a supply of water and use it to unnecessary excess, but since it's mainly used just to sustain the livestock, it's not really "wasted". What you mean by "wasted" seems to be "used for a purpose I don't personally approve of". The article also mentions that it's hardly the keeping of livestock itself that causes the CO2 emissions, but more the manner in which they're kept. I'd read in more detail, but I already know most of that stuff. |
