Ahh, I see. Thanks! I'll put those in my list

I'm not picky when it comes to genres, so please do  Except romance
I'm really glad to share with you! Do you have any you'd like to recommend to me? I'm also open to all genres. ^_^

Okay! I really like Simon Scarrow, so I'd really recommend him. I've also read quite a bit of Robert Harris, with Imperium and Lustrum being my favourite (although if you live near the States, they renamed Lustrum to Conspiriatum, or something, for some reason) and they cover Cicero's life as told by his personal slave. Harry Sidebottom's Warrior of Rome is also decent, if you can stomach his basic writing style. The Pillars of Rome (Jack Ludlow) is interesting, if not amazing, so I'd recommend checking that out as well.

As for teen fiction, I quite like the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness, though I've not re-read them in... years, now! Series of Unfortunate Events was also my childhood, so I'd recommend those as well, lol.
Series Of Unfortunate Events was also my childhood  (Harry Potter and Chronicles Of Narnia too) Thanks for these!

Me? Haha not sure if I would recommend some of them, but I'm a fan of Jules Verne, Dennis Lehane, Dan Brown, Terry Goodkind, Anne Rice, Lord Of The Rings, The Hunger Games... hmm those are the only ones I can think of atm.

I really hope you get as much enjoyment out of them as I have. Be sure to come back and let me know - I love discussing books with people, especially ones that I don't find many fans of. ^_^

This sounds ridiculous, but I actually haven't read any Dan Brown books, even though I've been meaning to for AGES. Woe on me, eh? :$
I'll go check some of them out. I've read LoTR and THG, obviously, but the names of the others are fairly new to me.

Not at all, there are tons of books (though highly recommended) that I haven't read either

btw have you read Paolini's Inheritance Cycle? I'm planning on reading it, but I kind of wanted someone's opinion first.

I still haven't read Wheel of Time. I'm a bad fantasy fan. :$

Yeah, I have. It's... Well, it was entertaining when I was, like, 12, but... I wouldn't recommend it as a good book. It's passable, but not good.

Oh good, then I won't read it then. Thanks  I was hesitant after hearing about it having some similarities to Star Wars and LotR

Manga Seikon no Qwaser, which is surprisingly good. Strike Witches anime and light novels are also rly good, but that's Shoujo Ai, not outright yuri. They're both awesome if you can get past the fanservice, and honestly I found them to be well-written.

Girl Friends is one of my favourite, and Strawberry Shake Sweet... Hayate x Blade is also Shoujo Ai but I really love the characters in that, and shit's totally canon as long as you're not blind. There's also Octave, but I'm really meh about that.

@Book Anon lmfao, similarities to those? Really???? No way, not at all.

This is still Book Anon actually. They said he took some ideas from both series. I don't really know though since I know nothing about it other than it's about dragons and it had a movie. Which I heard sucked too.

Thanks again!

Ohh, awesome! And yeah, it has dragons, but it's like he's being a tryhard copy of Star Wars/LoTR. It reads like a shitty fanfic, which I guess it kinda is. Like I said, though, it was enjoyable enough for a mindless read, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Loved that series. It's written for children/teens yet it deals with quite mature themes.

oh, there's an Indonesian anon who posted the link on the main thread about fanbase ticket selling just before, so I thought it was you haha.

"Just come to MEIS lately, the ticket prize will drop. " this what I been hoping as well, cus it was the case for SMtown. The show wasnt actually a sold out, plenty of tix were sold really cheap at the last minute. But, since the capacity is much smaller this time and there are plenty of enthusiast, I doubt it'd happen. Oh well, cant really do much but crossing my fingers *and pray to soofany  *

If you're looking for yuri you might want to have a look here you can find some cute one shots (and some lewd ones) and a lot of good chaptered manga. I like the work of Amano Shunita. All recommendations given so far have been pretty solid too. (Sono Hanabira is a series of eroge focusing on a different couple each game, not my thing personally but you can find translations here most likely. As for anime... I suppose it depends whether you're fine with subtext or want something more overt

LOL I just goggled that anime and the first scene is already porn, like there wasn't even any build up. But I need to watch some more to determine whether there's any romance in it.
