here law and admn are known as the careers for ppl who don't know what they want O_o'' arts or literature are for the ones who know what they want and that can/want to assume the risk of not being well paid (lots of people don't go for these because of the salary, even though it's what they really want to do) |

@runner-- You guys get more "iffy" and/or tedious problems, I think. There was once I approached my tutor with a multiple-choice question from your school and she took ages to solve it. When she finally got it she went, "During exam, skip this kind of questions first."

Oh... I don't get multiple-choice questions (because I'm in the arts stream) so I wouldn't know. :p |

Well when I wrote the first draft of my law school personal statement it consisted of: "So I'm pretty smart and I work hard and junk so you should totally let me into your school" and nothing else. Needless to say, the final draft was significantly different. |

oh, that was my major too I didn't know what I wanted to do, I just thought it was the easiest entrance exam (just oral and written English) compared to English + history or literature or geography or maths for other majors. Funny thing is I've never worked as a teacher or interpreter which is what you can actually do with that diploma in my country
