Necessary words huh? ![]() It sounds interesting to me at least, I've only ever seen it written so I had no idea what it sounded like. It is super fast! I'm trying to make friends from all the countries so I can stay at their houses when I can afford to leave China and bum around in Asia |

Er. Did they want to make that any less specific or edit: Arti But her response indicates that she was paying attention? I say 35 but I'm really not even v. attentive after 25min and we're talking stimulating content here because I switch off almost immediately if it's something that bores me (or when cell bodies are mentioned). |

@babycakes-- There are specific themes (e.g nationalism, nation-building, conflict/cooperation) though, so it's not so bad. I also have another unit called "International History 1945-2000". /laughsob --- @curianon-- still stuck in high school for a few more months... |

Yeah, she was just joking 'cause he said that about attention spans. Oh, yeah, we did that! I think a 50 year period is the norm in history classes, with one unit in 100 years, but I don't think it was that hard when you actually look at what you have to learn. Maybe it's different for you. We also got 1945-2004 in international relations. |

Ah well.. I hope you did good. I totally bombed mine, but then I had it coming for attempting to cram two revolutions in two days. edit: A study of 50-100 year periods is not unusual, but a lot happened in SEA during those 97 years. |

yep, necessary words hahahahahahaglad you take an interest in my language, it's actually very easy to learn. There's no grammar and the words were read the same as they were written. I see you already made plans to pimp all over the world hey LOLHFLKHKJFHKDFAHLFJLF YULTHIGHS IRL ARE JUST ADHFLKJLJASDHAHLHSDFAH I love history, it's very interesting, esp when it comes to early Asian kingdoms. Plenty of interesting tidbits to learn, hate learning bout WW tho Im forever a social studies person, I like Anthropology and Sociology too haha @Anon I finished uni 5 years ago (my age is showing here XD) |

hahah nope, I studied mass comm and Film & TV I got accepted to one of the uni in Jakarta as an Anthro major but I rejected it after I received a green light for studying in down under I was a social major in HS, in Indonesia, you have to choose between social or science major when you reached the final year of HS, and the option was way too obvious for me haha |

@Arti-- Lemme guess...GCE A Levels? Should be a similar syllabus for international history if that's the case. I guess it's not so much the time period as the number of case studies we are covering (esp. for SEA) The details start to melt together at some point. --- @Rexie-- Early Asian Kingdoms as in Majaphit, Srivijaya, etc? I did those several years ago and really liked them. Modern history is another animal altogether though. Decolonisation in the post-war period is interesting though... I'm a science student through and through hehe. |
