not really digging this T. education fic - it's not a Taeny story, just random characters talking about random things, now how do I ask to be taken out of the PM list without being impolite to the author
Give it a few updates? There's only been one chapter so far right
x2

it seems ot9, comparing to the S and J ed fics that had yoonhyun and yulsic from the beginning... it's like she can't really write taeny(?)...

I hope for the next chapters, but reading what happened in the first chapter, I can imagine the second chapter already, and I dun see taeny in that...

tbh I really like how d0nkat$u always finishes her stories first before she posts them, that way, the readers wouldn't really have to wait for updates. I think it's great lol especially since I'm a bit impatient and lose interest quickly.

Yep whether a fic is completed or not is a huge consideration for me when reading ongoings. Not only does it mean reliable updates but imo it significantly affects the quality of the story when an author writes with an endgame in mind. Fics that aren't plotted and planned out beforehand and usually end up doing the same thing.

The beginning is written in the spur of inspiration and is amazing. But then ideas run out because there was never a direction for the characters and the story, so the author starts waffling for a few chapters. And then updates stagnate to a crawl and eventually drops into hiatus.

That's why I was so sad that kijeok dropped off. Everything in that fic felt so detailed and purposeful. I thought she had a vision of where she would take it but I guess she didn't :bigcry:
Cherry and nelly seems to be stuck in hiatus in their ongoings too. Not to mention st3phan and her trail of orphaned fics. At least we still have don :dramaqueen:

Kije0k does have stuff plotted though. I've talked to her a bunch of times in PM and she's told me about her outline and rough drafts, so I think she had everything plotted, she's just an incredibly busy person and never has time to write. (I hope it's ok to say that... She told me in PM but it doesn't seem like a big secret that she's busy or anything? Like the fact that she completely disappears for so long...)

When I went to school full time and had a full time job and had tons of weekly obligations, I spent my few "breaks" with my girlfriend or family or friends, not updating my multi-chapter Bleach fic (don't judge). Life can get insane, and fanfic is a side hobby.

I can see her being too busy actually. Once you get to the point where ES got, the weight of the fics starts to get very high. It's hard to come back and immediately pick up where you left off when there's so much history in the fic and so much that you've planned to do or thought about doing. I can see her being too busy to be interested in SNSD anymore too. Just happens.

da she also claimed she had the next chapter already written, i doubt she is busy to the point she can't take a few minutes to post it up. and if she is pming people that proves it lol. so i wouldn't really take her word for it i think she's just stuck tbh.

Yeahhhh shooting a PM off every few months (because that's how long it takes her to reply to me) is not nearly the same as sitting down, proofreading the chapter, editing it, formatting it, and uploading it, especially when you're really busy, but whatever.

Sometimes I think maybe she got stuck because she wanted her fic to be a very realistic one and she doesn't know how to fit ginger in the storyline

jk
