you know what I hate the most about AFF? it's that they allow those disgusting rape fics on their site. Like just last week I stumbled into a fic where YoonHyun were raped and forced to drink pee. And the author dare to claim that he's a fan? Screw you! I was so enraged that I reported it. It's been taken down now. Sex is one thing, rape is another. And it disturbs me that the people who wrote this kind of fic are probably underage. |

First of all, thanks anon for updating us on Fallen Leaves. Anyways, I have a question that'd probably be better-answered on here, hopefully. I'm ch3ck1ny0urbr4 on LJ (should I mask my own name that way?) and I contemplated doubling up on chapters while putting in new posts. Hence, the Taeyeon and Seohyun posts rather than just one Taeyeon chapter. Is this a faux pas? I'm pretty far in the story and would like to keep it moving. I already have some one-shots in mind and I don't want to switch my brain in and out of characterization. |

hey Lingerie Anon heeeey I'm about to read your update right now, soooo exciteeeddddd haha. To answer your question, honestly, do whatever works for you as a writer. From my perspective, I don't really mind if you want to double up chapters as long as it doesn't mess up the flow of the story (want.sexy.times.asap!!) Hope that answer your question. Be right back, got your update to check up on |

Oic. I wondered about the convenience of having two chapters in the same post since I usually keep a few days between each post. It'd make more reading...which is good? I guess. It is for me, at least. This fic thing is still new for me, lol. |

I like Keep Breathing and all but I wish the author could be more consistent with her use of past/present tense..

![]() I accept your love, Rexie. And thanks!!! Yes, it's my first fic attempt. And just so this doesn't become OT, are there any other LJ communities for snsd shipping (other than s0sh1p0ps and ITNW) that I may be missing? I don't use SSF a lot... |

Probably an oversight. Tense switching is a technique that's reserved for a certain kind of style that expresses a certain kind of feeling, and that story doesn't really seem to fit that style. |

I'm getting to that point myself. I've got no idea what's going on with anyone anymore and it feels like extending drama for the sake of extending drama. Meh. |

Just wondering, why all the hate towards @uratus? Personally, I like his writing style, and although the plots can sometimes be rather...convoluted, I think they're decent. Or is it his attitude? Btw, I'm not @uratus or one of his more well-known commenters, I'm just curious. |

For me, it's his writing style, haha. His misguided grasp of grammar and his inability to vary his clause structure, sentence structure and language choice make it incredibly difficult for me to read whatever it is he's writing. His premises seem somewhat interesting, but I can't comment on the content any further than that. |

attention whore, biggest ego on SSF, thinks using thesaurus.com makes you the god of writers, one of the loudest supporters of "protect the girls" which is typical for attention whore that he is, openly insulting anybody with different opinions, and did I mention aw I guess I did

da you're a native speaker right? you're not the target audience. his mo is put as many obscure and never used "words" (you can't even call this shit words of english in the modern world context) into one sentence as possible and hope people who don't know the language mistake it for sophisticated and think he's smart, and that they will try to look smart themselves by applauding. sound and tested strategy and of course it works |

Yeah, I got that from his writing, too. It feels like he's relying a bit too much on the thesaurus, which you can't actually do when writing a story, because words that're synonyms don't carry the same connotations, so it's like... You could use "crash" instead of "bang", and while they technically mean similar things, "crash" is more used for things falling/breaking in accident, e.g. a plate hitting the floor with a crash, whereas "bang" is more used for heavy impacts/sounds that happen at high speeds and don't necessarily involve anything actually being damaged, e.g. slamming the door with a bang, or shooting a gun with a bang. Yeah. Anyway. I went on a tangent, but tl;dr, it makes sense when you describe his writing style like you do. Thesaurus-Writing is a huge no-no. I think I corrected one of the usages of his words on the SBox once and he went insane. He used the word "holistic" to describe individuality, and those are like, antonyms. They're like two opposing concepts. Saying that, though, I guess you could use them in tandem in certain contexts. Like, maybe going into detail into how the individual parts fit together to make a holistic experience...

This The comment sections of his fics are so lol worthy, what's with his followers trying to sound like him and think that they're being sophisticated. |

I love lesbian drama
Maybe it was intentional idk, but it's a lil annoying lol and imo it's better if it were all in past tense.
