his god-complex ain't cute. he ain't no yeezus. i kind of like it tho
I don't like GeeDEE he's a trying hard copy cat of K@nye WE$t..
da K@nye i just can't really see how he copies him really, the fashion, the music - everything is quite different
da oh come on. you can't see the likenesses? 'ye basically started a trend of having rappers interested in high fashion and art without it looking "gay." g-dragon started doing the same thing a few years ago wearing geevanchy, alix queen, channel, etc. and talking about it heavily in interviews. gdee's solo hartbraker came out in '09 and it's about a sad lonely dude crying about a girl, auto-tuned. k@nye's hart-less came out in '08 and it's about a sad lonely dude crying about a girl, also autotuned. shit man, he even got sued for his solo by fl0-rida's company.
with the teaser for his new song, it's kinda obvious to me the lyrical content/sound is trying for k@nye's newest album yizus. the whole cocky god-complex thing. talking about him being "the answer." the sound reminds a little of 'i am a god' or 'on sight'
and it's not only k@nye. he bites from other U.S. rappers too. i like gee-dee's music 80% of the time and he doesn't seem like a bad guy, but i don't like how his fans claim he's original or a genius.
da x2 nothing about him is original everything he does has been taken from someone else
Wow, that song is so bad. Shame because that duo had potential. SM butchering whatever talent they come across as usual.
sm aren't miracle workers there is little they can do with those two basic talents
well if his talent is basic then why make the dude go solo they have so many talented idols in groups that can go solo and be special
lol so him going solo = must have talent? his rapping sucks his singing sounds bad. he should stick to writing bts or being in a band he doesn't have talent to be solo idk what sm was thinking
Please, they didn't even try. I agree about the dude, but Amb3r has a pretty decent singing voice.
da Amb3r sounds pretty bad in some effx songs she sounds like half rapping/ half singing
x2 her singing is still pretty average
the song in general sucks though i don't think anyone could sell that greatly lol
H3nry, bless his heart, is super boring. Sorry kid. Typical guest appearance from Ambro. Sm just does better with groups, not solo artists (B0a being the exception, of course.)

ygee as a whole really
da same thing can be said with kpop recyling stuff from each other nothing is really original

not many things are totally original but that doesn't mean people don't blatantly rip styles off and not every kpop idol talks about how original and different they are to everyone else like he does

Since when singing about the same topic is copying? So many songs are about the same thing, but no one goes saying they copied them. I don't know maybe I just don't get it then. And so many artists do this 'god-compex-thing' as you call it... In pop culture everyone is ripping off everyone and only putting their twist to it, that's how it has gone, goes and will go. But let's then agree to disagree, shall we?
well i do agree with you that pop culture recycles everything. that's not what i'm talking about it. the thing i find weird is dragun's timing. it's just always within a year of something a U.S. rapper is doing. he's just riding on the coattails of what popular U.S. rappers are doing and making it seem original like in the examples in my other comment. he started grunting and growling like 'ye/rik r0ss in his OOAK album and adding 'oh god' into his raps like b!g shawn.
and i know everyone is going to say 'but all of kpop recycles US music, etc. etc.' yes that is true, but they aren't going around saying they came up with idea and being elevated because they wrote the music like dragon is.

da this so much
Bottom line I dont like Geedee. He may wrote songs but seriously he's no good. And his fashion sucks. But his new song the video. Oh come one have you seen em jayzee and k@nye mv's? Oh please. Die as copy.
In all honesty, I wanted to create a group like Girls' Generation. It's not an area where I'm an expert in but I wanted to create a group of pretty girls who could sing well. I don't know if it's because of a tendency I have, but I focus more on talent over looks. Even if someone is so beautiful, if they don't have the talent that I want, it won't work."
I was also quite jealous of Girls' Generation. I thought...what if a bunch of pretty girls do hip hop? When I look at W0nder G!rls I always thought it would be fun if they sang YG style songs. However, as time passed, my plans started to fall apart. I originally chose the girls because they had cute faces, but since they fell short on the talent I had required, it went from dozens of girls to only 6 left. Even at this point, I still don't think I can be 100% satisfied. I'm not sure if the group will consist of 5 members or 3.
he has a point about talent vs. looks, but all those misogynistic and pretentious undertones are just gross.
