Anybody watching WIN? I'm supporting Nam Ta3hyun. Honestly, no boyband is going to ever replace BB, but I like the idea of an antithesis to 3x0. Getting too much fame for doing nothing.

SA. I hope JHS debuts all eleven. I think NTH stands out to me because he looks like an elf and is probably the visual of Team A. He just needs a better image, i.e. more confidence and muscles.

SA. Lol, I'm talking to myself. If NTH learns to rap and dance a little bit better, he'll be the M1nzy/Seohyun of the 11 guys, or in other words a very well-rounded, dependable, yet low-key, often underrated member.

still need to watch it but i've seen lots of gifs on tumblr. a lot of people are talking about the nam kid you mentioned so i'll keep a lookout for him imo, a good portion of those sm infants are talented in at least one area...but ygee's 'hiphop' will always be the antithesis of esem's 'safe pop'

It's like that with these boys too.
My analysis:
Team B: Team B, the younger group, can rap really well, but they can't sing as well. I think they're using Goo Junh03 as their main vocalist, and he's not that good compared to KSY, Team A's lead vocalist. YHS is pushing rapper B.Eye as his favorite. I don't like him. I can tell he's a punk, and he's got a weird nose job. It made his bridge so high that it's actually pulling the corners of his eyes closer together and makes him look like Jiy30n's little brother. He can get that fixed once he makes some money. And the visual, the 15-year-old, can neither sing nor rap, but he's an okay dancer. They're all really good dancers.
Team A: Team A has Nam and KSY, and they're both really good vocalists, KSY especially. I don't know about that J1nw00 guy. He doesn't stand out much. One guy is a really good dancer, so they trained him as a rapper but he's not that good at it. Song Minh0 is a good rapper. But yeah, visually, only Nam and KSY are more appealing in this group.
Yeah, I wish he'd debut them as 11 and try something different with them. They're always going to be overshadowed by BB if they do straight hiphop. I guess they can do more electro stuff, in the style of Fantastic BB.
What really shocked me in Ilbe was misogyny. I’m not a CoGaller but because I’m a baseball fan, I’ve been frequenting [male-dominant] MLB Park, Starcraft Gall and Baseball Gall so I don’t bat an eye for most things. But Ilbe is…difficult to read. I will give you some examples.
1. First of all, if you call a woman a woman, you get bashed in Ilbe. All females are called ‘boji’ [pussy]. Materialistic girls are called ‘boseul-achi‘ or in short, ‘boseul’. Misogyny is ‘bo-hyum’ [boji-hate]. Defending women is ‘bo-ppal’ [boji-sucking] and revealing that you are female is ‘boming out’ [boji + coming out]. ‘Ne-da-bo’ means ‘yes, next boji’. When a girl likes something, they say her ‘boji fluid’ spilt. Some say you can find misogynic comments in any male-dominant sites and wonder what the big deal is. Let me just say it was Ilbe where I was first regarded not a girl but a hole.
2. Whenever a sex-related scandal happens, they say things beyond your imagination. There was a news report about a male teacher who had sex with an elementary school student. If you look at the comments in Ilbe, they are like
‘I envy that douche. Was the little virgin gooey?’ / ‘Just raise her for 6 more years.’ / ‘Where is that elementary school? Shit tons of male teachers will apply for that school duh duh.’ One guy who said ‘hey, isn’t this too much for a minor?’ was carpet-bombed with the label of ‘fucking seonbi‘. [Ilbe users call polite and 'righteous' netizens 'sip-seonbi'.]
I felt really sorry for the female NIS employee in the recent incident after reading comments in Ilbe. Her face was covered and only her hands were revealed. Her hands were long and pretty. So there were comments like ‘those hands look like they would play well with my cum’. Great imagination.
3. They not only comment on sex-related scandals but also create them. Some guys shared their sister or girlfriend’s nude pictures. Someone also planned rape, which you might have read about, and many comments below praised his idea and even asked to join him. Once, this swimsuit model’s picture was posted in Ilbe and she filed a lawsuit for the sexual comments that were like ‘Wow I want to fuck her for once. ^^ Must be chewy.’ / ‘She got huge nymphae. The queen of nymphae, ke ke ke ke.’ A screenshot of her minihompi [Cyworld] talking about the lawsuit was also posted in Ilbe to bash her. Another case: there is a pasteurization method called ‘boji-salgyunbeop’ [holding pasteurization method]. Some Ilber user jokingly used that term to a female junior student at university on Kakao Talk and posted screenshots of it. Her name wasn’t even deleted. So a joke like ‘Sooyeon, are you pasteurizing your boji?’ was popular for a while.
4. Practically every post about females falls into sexual ridicule and disparagement. Park Geun-hye might be the only exception. For example, an Ilbe user posts a picture of a girl who put her bag on a seat next to her even though there was a standing passenger. First, they rant about her insensibility, which leads to rants about kimchi bitches and boseuls. And there come comments like ‘Wow, that bitch’s thighs look hot duh duh.’, ‘Look at her pelvic line. ^^’, ‘Fuckable.’ When this tendency is combined with Ilbe’s unique political orientation, it’s even more dangerous. The girls who express opinions unpopular in Ilbe on Facebook or Twitter, criticize the Man of Korea representative Sung Jae-gi or post comments advocating their progressive stance on Facebook become the main target of ridicule. What’s interesting is that they only target ‘ugly girls’ among them. Pretty girls or men are exempted. They make new accounts to sexually ridicule their targets on Twitter. On Facebook, you have to reveal your identity so they tend to make only political arguments gently. On Twitter, they say things like ‘I will tear off you bitch’s pussy.’ / ‘Spread your legs to Kim Jung-il and get your pussy screwed.’ Since they don’t use their identity to register for Twitter, there is no guarantee that you can catch them even if you file a case.

Sorry, more analysis:
Team A: KSY having already debuted is going to mess up the chemistry on this team. He's already got a solo going on so he's already been missing practices with the team. The awkwardness is already apparent in the first episode.
Team B: B0bby is a damn good rapper too, so I don't know why the B.Eye gets so much recognition. He screams gay to me. If anyone is the next GeeDee, it's probably him. I don't see any chemistry issues with Team B because they all sort of listen to B.Eye and have an established pecking order. B.Eye reminds me more of Ta3yang.

haha damn girl you really got a lot of feels for the show. thanks for the info! i'll get to watching it soon so i can discuss it with you more.
WINanon I just watched the first episode because you seemed so keen on it haha. I don't know much about the idol machine so it's kinda interesting in that regard. I'm not really interested in any of them as artists just yet (I honestly can't take the whole G thing seriously, it's just ridiculous) but will probably continue watching the show.
I like Team B better so far, for their teamwork and dancing skillz. I like the Team A group members, I actually found j1nwoo's segment touching, but I agree with you that he's not outstanding by any means and about KSY's solo debut messing up the group's dynamic and I agree with seonsaengnim that they were p. boring.
None of them are fantastic singers or rappers imo but they don't need to be. seungh00n is an impressive dancer.

please who the fuck thinks taeyeon is the best singer? she's good for an idol, and that's it compare her to any big singer outside of the little idol buble, she loses
sa also comparing her to idols is not even good because almost everyone is at most average singers, that is if they can even carry a tune
ailee >>>>> taeyeon imo all female idols have good vocals, but none are strong enough, they do a lot of falsettos and screaming about male idols, only juns* and jaej00ng can sing; those 3x0 dudes are 100% overrated

all idols are over rated though lol like you get ones who are good at singing or dancing and everyone over hypes just how good they really are

It's more enjoyable if you try to watch the show from YHS's perspective. Turn it into an intellectual exercise. Analyze their weaknesses and strengths. Analyze their chemistry and teamwork. Whose skills compliment whose shortcomings? Who has the most drive and passion? What would you need to do to turn these guys into moneymakers if you were YHS?

da hy0rin/
DA J*a, Hy0rin, Taeyeon, L*na, Eu*ji are pretty decent and are A+ rank in terms of idols. Outside of idolism they'd be C+ level IMO. (Sohy*ng would be S+)

this is repugnant. I wonder how old are these dudes.
