maybe...............yes

Even though LimeJo is huge I rather ship Ar@lice, lol its somewhat like Taeny and Yulsic. The first royal couples.

But even though @lice is the only one who pings, I still have hope *raises fist*. Generally though I just want them to improve and do well as a whole.

And claRA has been added to the list, and I guess now yuRA as well.

Is it considered rude to give someone of the same sex the once over because it is assumed that you're jealous of/dislike them in someway (because lol no homo)? Or is gender irrelevant? I mean to ask if it would it be considered rude if she was checking out an oppar instead of Suzie?

You're a k-anon, right? Do you refrain from checking someone out in this way because it's seen to be rude? I'm asking because, even if Yur@ understands that it's impolite (and probably not how international fans are going to interpret it), doesn't mean that she's not indeed checking Suzie out if that makes sense?

Also, iirc in FG, when the girls were searching for fashionable people to interview on the streets of NY, Jessica explains to Yuri that one guy probably thought that they were checking him out (that this is the assumption when you give someone the once over in the West). But Yuri didn't seem to have any qualms about it, but perhaps she saw it as part of the work assignment? (Although Yuri really is not subtle with the leering at all lol). Surprised there aren't articles about her being "rude" to all her members.

My question was genuine, I'm asking out of curiosity.. Strictly speaking, it's not exactly polite to look at someone this way in the West either and you would try to be subtle about it. I'm only asking if you don't ever look at other women (assuming you're a lesbian) like this just because they're pretty and not to be rude? But yeah, unimportant question so feel free to ignore it. Thanks for clarifying, your point wasn't lost.

I've seen that lesbians complain about rude lesbians who keep checking other lesbians out at bar or street on lesbian site, a ton of times
It's not just me

Staring at someone likes that is considered rude everywhere if she's indeed giving a bitchy stare, it isn't just a Korean thing.

Handy to know, thanks. I'll know not to do this if I'm ever in Korea if women are more likely to be offended by it than flattered, which is not something I want. It's more a natural reaction though, I don't ever mean to be caught out, and have been quite successful thus far. :)

edit: Wind Lol obviously it would be. I'm working off the assumption that she isn't and the conversation's kind of digressed into something else

Tons of international fans still seem to have the mindset that being gay in Korea is looked down upon and that it's not accepted, that's why they come up with such replies.

And we all know that you shouldn't take everything what's being said on an anonymous forum to heart about your country. ;)

What do you think? Do you think she was giving her a bitchy stare or that she was checking her out like some people are suggesting?

doesn't matter It was bitchy stare or checking out or just staring somewhere

honestly i don't see anything bad about it :-/

first of all that is not staring.
i assume that staring means to look a person continuely,fixedly...and that's rude. (especially if i'm eating =_= )
i mean this...LOL

this girl looked at suzzy more than one time, true, but i don't see anything wrong. actually she looks somehow shy and maybe she likes suzzy (non in a gay way...or maybe yes). she tried to do it subtitely too...she hinted a small smile in the end when she met suzzy's eyes.

honestly a lot of women look at other women. how they are dress or maybe just because they're cute and their eyes are attracted. (straight or gay woman,no difference, because women are like that. there is always this kind of competition between women...) or maybe again because she wanted somehow to start a conversation but she didn't know how. or she was really checking her out.

seriously i find very difficult to think that is a difference of culture, because bashing a girl just because she looked often to a person,to me it seems a little too much :-/

@korean anon (?)
you don't like that other girls checking you out? i mean, firstly it depends on how they checking you out.

if they're cheking me out rudely and "openly" i would be irritated too. but if they do it subtitely and not that often (like that girl, supposing that she was checking her out suzzy) i would be...happy?

everyone is different tho...but i repeat IMO this girl didn't do nothing bad :D

do you have gay friends? and I mean gay friends out of the closet? are they out to their parents or at work?
do you see outed people on tv? gay celebrities who are not looked down upon? gay people on magazines out and about?

yes, I believe being gay is still looked down upon in Korea and "no homo" is still a thing.
