Nicole from Kara still remembers the first anti comments she read about herself when she first debuted, she even remembers their usernames.

jprk is such a punk, but his new joah song is pretty nice actually. thanks for posting on the other thread anon!
i hav this theory there was nothing scandalous behind his leaving jyp beyond the korea is gay comments, he just got canned because hes hardheaded and not that talented, jyp probs got fed up with him
da
i think he did something cause the company and band got so much hate for the whole thing it would have made more sense for them to bring him back so i think the fact the company didn't shows he did something
Ah-ha! http://forums.allkpop.com/threads/why-does-2pm-and-other-jyp-idols-contact-jay.36917/page-2

This is the explanation that seems most reasonable to me.

dont mean to be a hater, while the song's pretty catchy, i find their concept is somehow forced. Despite their attempt on edginess, they just looked like girly girls with short hair, no tomboy/androgynous appeal whatsoever. I reckon being tomboyish/laid back is more about the way a person carry themselves (i.e walk, talk, sit etc), and not just all about looks. A girl could have long hair and still be out pimping the neighborhood lol. So yeah, just my 2 cents

The Jay/2:00 saga is really damn interesting reading. I've been clicking around the internet for hours. It's even worse than T-Errorgate.

Part 1: This is what I've gathered. 6PM were a bunch of assholes according to their sasaeng (don't know if true), but I'm leaning toward them being on bad terms with Jay even before the scandal. They didn't respect his authority as leader, and they talked smack about him because his Korean sucked and he didn't get the culture. (Imagine Tiffany being the leader of SNSD instead of Taeyeon.) Jay and Khoon are the ones that were bullied and Jo Kw0n was Jay's only friend at JYP. There's some Hwayoung-ish evidence to that effect. I've seen the evidence and it's more or less there.

I'm going with the story that JYP found out he blabbed about his contract on Myspace and used the "Korea is gay" incident as an excuse to kick him out of the group.

Part 2: Jay signs up with new company. New company was in talks with network for Jay to play a part in a drama. JYP threatens to boycott network (so that his artists will never stop appearing on said network's programs). Jay = cockblocked by JYP.

Then JYP, the guy, was on a talk show and he talked about Jay, said some things that implied there was some scandalous reason for Jay getting canned. CEO of New Company cusses him out on Twitter (lol) and issues a letter to JYP calling his bluff. New Company says, "If there was a scandal behind it, tell us what it is, say it out loud, or you're just a lying bastard." JYP's response, "We can't say."

Sounds to me like this Jay P@rk fellow is just one terribly misunderstood guy, and it doesn't help that JYP was out to end his career in the KPop industry. It also doesn't help that he has all inked up, thinks he's black, and cusses in his music. It's no surprise every other person in the room thinks he got fired from 2:00 because he's Hyun@'s babydaddy or he's addicted to drugs or something.

That's not the story I believe. JYP had a chance to just tell people what it was that he supposedly did to warrant getting kicked out. Jay's new company called him out and told him to just say it. He had nothing to say.

Even though it's something I do for sport, I don't actually care enough about this to have an argument with anyone about it. If he were a girl, maybe. It's just crazy how JYP screwed him. Until I actually started reading things, I was under the same impression as everybody else. This is some KPop guy, so he must have been doing something really bad. They don't prematurely terminate contracts no matter how big an asshole their artists are. It's also scary how so many people repeating the same unfounded rumors can suddenly make it seem more real. Anyway, 2:00 screwed themselves royally. When I read that they even rivaled BB when they first debuted, I snorted.

Good luck to this kid. He seemed like an okay guy when he was shooting zombies with KevJumb@. Wasn't haughty or condescending, seemed humble enough.

New Company says, "If there was a scandal behind it, tell us what it is, say it out loud, or you're just a lying bastard." JYP's response, "We can't say."

Search for it on AKP. It's in the news, as in an actual journalistic document.

I don't really care if this kid was bullied by the other guys. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. It's irrelevant.

Fact is JYP never could provide a reason for why Jay was canned, and that is even when Jay's new company publicly provoked and challenged JYP to provide the reason. All JYP did was make it sound like he did something bad, a bad enough thing in order to placate the fans' bitching.

Nobody knows the truth tbh. But yes that bullying part was made by anti. You know how anti always show "proof" a.k.a screencaps. I remember checking the video where the screencap was taken from and I see no bullying.

:lmao: JwhyPee wanted to cockblock j4y, too bad jwhyp is too gay for that. ot, Don't you think JwhyP is gay?

I don't know if he's gay. His sex life isn't my business.

I wouldn't put it past a guy who thinks he looks good in see-through-crotched pants to ruin a dumb American kid's career just for the pleasure of knowing he can. This industry is controlled by a bunch of old Asian men driven purely by their egos.

We already know he didn't do anything illegal. JYP said as much. He did something really wrong, but it wasn't illegal. Knowing the kinda shit that male idols do in this industry, do you think there's anything legal he can even do that's that much worse than what every male idol is already doing?

For me personally, I'm not gonna believe any bullshit spoken against this guy anymore, no matter how many Koreans say so.

sorry if this was already discussed not sure, but:
dont mean to be a hater, while the song's pretty catchy, i find their concept is somehow forced.
:drunk2: I finally find s1 with the same opinion.
My thought of this video:
- They should get rid of that heels and the construction glasses too. It doesn't match the bad girl concept and outfit.
- Beats are nice but the raps are weak. It sound like a normal singing with hard drop in the background.
- Some members look like a girly girl with short hair.

I believe what I want. I read everything, looked at all their evidence, and drew my own conclusions. I'm not 100% sure about everything, but I have at least a somewhat clear picture of what went down.

What I know for sure: If he had a good reason to fire Jay, he would have made it public when the Sidus CEO called out his bs. Sidus CEO straightup called him a liar, and he still didn't answer the challenge. Sidus CEO is somebody who actually knows what went down, and he believes Jay didn't do anything bad to deserve getting kicked out of his group.

then why even mention that stuff lol
jay admitted himself he did do something that caused j*p to not accept him back, there are interviews of him admitting it though ofc like j*p nobody says what it was
there are plenty of people laughing at what his company said cause it went against what jay himself admitted to
and right before his first solo album dropped he wrote on his website sorry to j*p and 2*pm for all they went through cause him leaving and his mistakes
they got more hate then he got over it
when the caps first came out it was ridiculous but the moment he said he was going to america a few days later everyone went back on his side
2*pm got the hate from then on when they didn't do anything. i dont think his myspace stuff was wrong either but him leaving wasn't their fault
it was the netizens being nut cases that drove him to want to take some time out

Sidus CEO is somebody who actually knows what went down, and he believes Jay didn't do anything bad to deserve getting kicked out of his group.
you should go read some jay interviews then since he said himself he did do something bad outside of the myspace stuff lol
I honestly think he did that because he didn't want to get on JYP's bad side and get shut out of the industry. He just wanted to move on with his life and so he just went along with JYP's story of what happened and pretended to be the bad guy. Good PR move on his part.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
This part is public:

New Company says, "If there was a scandal behind it, tell us what it is, say it out loud, or you're just a lying bastard." JYP's response, "We can't say."

Search for it on AKP. It's in the news, as in an actual journalistic document.

I don't really care if this kid was bullied by the other guys. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. It's irrelevant.

Fact is JYP never could provide a reason for why Jay was canned, and that is even when Jay's new company publicly provoked and challenged JYP to provide the reason. All JYP did was make it sound like he did something bad, a bad enough thing in order to placate the fans' bitching.
then why even mention that stuff lol
jay admitted himself he did do something that caused j*p to not accept him back, there are interviews of him admitting it though ofc like j*p nobody says what it was
there are plenty of people laughing at what his company said cause it went against what jay himself admitted to
and right before his first solo album dropped he wrote on his website sorry to j*p and 2*pm for all they went through cause him leaving and his mistakes
they got more hate then he got over it
when the caps first came out it was ridiculous but the moment he said he was going to america a few days later everyone went back on his side
2*pm got the hate from then on when they didn't do anything. i dont think his myspace stuff was wrong either but him leaving wasn't their fault
it was the netizens being nut cases that drove him to want to take some time out
I didn't say it was 2:00's fault. They don't make the decisions.

dont mean to be a hater, while the song's pretty catchy, i find their concept is somehow forced.
- Some members look like a girly girl with short hair.
op here

don't worry, I got your back Doucheyeon

People criticise IGAB's lyrics as the worst ever (not that I blame them), but praise the lyrics for P$y's new song to the heavens.

Something I found hilarious:

"SM fixes all their artists up like robots and makes their money that way while YG takes ugly kids and media plays them up as talented artists... as for JYP, he takes perfectly talented kids and tries to mold them into what he selfishly wants and ends up failing them all." -Knetizen

SM Kids

YG Kids

JYP Kids

^^^ SA I just realized something. If JYP and YG merged, their roster would still be smaller than SM's. Lol.

i think sm is the least "close" company. i think there are certain groups that are close to each other (s00j00 and snsd, snsd and fecks), but there's no group that's close to every single act (s00j00 and fecks??? fx and db$k). all the other companies seem close like family. yg, in general, seems close-knit. they bond over their large egos and "swag". jyp seems like a close family too. when fei was in the masterchef finale, other jyp acts came to support her, not just her members. and the literal yg and jyp ceos seem more chill with their artists. maybe it's the HUGE age gap, but the sooman-sm artists relationship seems very professional. (unless you count the weird moment in "i am" where $ooman hugs all of his artists. that was just awkward.) but then again, we barely see $ooman interact with his artists compared to jyp and yg.

this picture kinda explains it.

not a huge fan of the song, but maybe it's because p$y is known as a comedic artist so his lyrics are accepted as satirical? i remember reading a lot of stuff pointing out the satire and social commentary in g$ video

I don't know what he really intended but I think Gangnam Style is a satire about the Gangnam

I don't think that gentlemen lyrics is bad because It isn't serious
psy said gentlemen IS a club song. he just wrote lyrics for club song
and he is really good at playing on words. especially his debut song 'bird' is so funny
words in gentlemen are pretty funny too. he used some dialects. and wet psy, west side lol

but IGAB is not even funny.. just embarrassing
