Sm 'new' artist confirmed to be h3nry. Cool. Maybe they're testing the waters for solo artists since the trend is slightly going away from idol groups and towards soloists. Should be interesting.

Also, before Sk
I wonder if we'll see HyoRi do a guest promo or two with him, I enjoyed their WR or w/e stage with him.

The song becomes bearable when you are watching the MV because you're distracted by everything that's going on.

Btw, SM did that shit again at 3x0's comeback show that they did with, I don't remember if it was TTS or SNSD. They weren't allowing foreigners in.

Shouldn't they ban only the persons who took pic though? Banning all foreigners because of one mofo is really disrespectful.

not all foreigners are banned.

I heard isone took pic and uploaded in twitter but didn't confess her/himself
and Ex0 case is that they didn't bring album respectively. they shouldn't borrow other's album
It's the rule
ignoring other country's rule is really disrespectful

I hope someone hacks NB and shuts it down. I understand people might dislike what K-netizens have to say, but an I-fan posting the rising sun flag to piss off Koreans is too far. The site owner shouldn't even dare to call herself Korean.

Thanks for clearing that utp then.

Any anons from Korea here?
I don't know how many times this has been asked, so sorry but...do K-netizens really hate idols? I mean, what I see from NB is that they really have some kind of vendetta against idols, no matter how talented that idol is unless they're super-seniors like Sh1nhwa or LeeHy0ri (Even Hy0ri gets hate tbh) :-/

Idols and singers are on different levels. NB doesn't really give an accurate representation of netizens, she even says this in her faq ("this blog only focuses on negative content").

Yeah, I understood that there's a gap between the two and a 'wall you can't climb over' between actors and idols. :/

Pretty much, but I guess the definition among the Kpop fandom is referring to those guys who dominate the comment sections on news sites like N@te, N@ver etc. NB's blog stated that these people don't represent the public opinion as a whole, but also stated that they have an influence in the industry. So...an irrelevant minority with an influence? As much as I try to deny it, it was those guys whining in the comment section about Sunny's Welcome Motherfuckers cap which led to it being edited. Trivial, yeah, but, what else are they gonna pull?

....And they consider P$Y a 'World Star' =_=

My friends said that in recent years (2010-) interest in idols in the general public died down aside from in the teen bracket. Idol groups have been saturating the market for a while and when they branch out into acting its often seen to be a negative thing, even dramas which the majority are pretty crappily don't want to take on idols purely because it's putting honest actors out of business, hence why yuri/yoona/ sooyoung have to audition for multiple roles. Its not only a question of their acting ability anymore but does the filming schedule fit in with their group schedule as neatly as possible, and whether the director is willing to pretty much gamble on having an idol actor.

It was either sulli or suzy (I cant remember) but they did a pretty poor job in their last role which just made things even harder for idol actors

these people that complain should come live in countries with a pop scene which is 10 times less developed than theirs, then they might appreciate the talents of their idols and their entertainment industry in general

I never understood the hate about having idols in their dramas/movies. I mean, if they are good they are good, who cares what else they do. The casting people should be able to pick the best person for the part, regardless if they are idols, actors or just some random person trying it out.

It's also not nice when they use a more famous idol who isn't that good at acting just to hype up the drama.

why even care about comments on portal site news section?
should I read yahoo comments to know what americans thinking?
especially NATE? lol nate dead long ago with cyworld
Spoiler: click to toggle

and why she even translate PANN ? It's one person's post on anon forum :eyeroll:

if comments on portal site have an influence, some TV shows should have ended

also top comments can manipulate
Just because some opinions are on top comments, It doesn't mean that It's majority's opinions
even K-sones have been manipulated comments

do you seriously think all k-netizens have same opinions?
you should consider that you only see lopsided comments by NB

ex0 case responses on some ifan's site remind me of most cases involving foreigners

most ifans on most ifans's site(English site) always blamed Koreans
the reasons why Koreans are upset and whole story of case, and rules are not important to them
just Koreans are always racists and nationalists

I'm really tired of this

I just decided to stay away from most of the sites geared toward ifans. When Koreans get upset about Dokdo, they say it's just a couple of rocks in the ocean and they should stop being so sensitive. When Koreans expect someone to have a sense of humility and reflect after a scandal, they say things like "reflection is useless, haters gonna hate". If Koreans get upset about anything, their reason is never valid and "they get upset over anything/no wonder their suicide rate is so high/Korea seems like a terrible place to live/etc". I think a lot of them originally started off as weeaboos and branched into kpop later, because they always defend Japan whenever it's brought up. Imagine if the mayor of Seoul or Busan said the kind of filth that Osaka's mayor did. A lot of ifans are eerily similar to netouyo, using Korea as a scapegoat for everything.

You are always so defensive and rolling your eyes at everything. If you find us so annoying and disrespectful why do you keep coming back?

And yeah, you guys do and say a lot of questionable things that might be considered racist. Denying it and shifting blame wont solve anything.

The fact that there's I-fans and K-fans just proves it. I've never heard of anything like that before. From where I'm from, fans are fans, regardless of nationality.

And now that I mention it, is the J-pop scene like this too? The clear separation of fans?

Never seen anything like it in the j-pop scene. You're just a fan, not a j-fan or anything. That might, though, be due to the fact that the national and international fanbases don't interact much so there's not really any situation in which the term i-fan might naturally arise.
