Do you think that the TLC fiasco could have been prevented if instead of you being mod, it was somebody else who could speak up against Windmill's decisions, especially those regarding the rules? |

Hard to say since hindsight is 20/20, Im pretty sure a lot of things could have turned out differently but regardless of what could have been there's really nothing that can be done about it now. |

So do you think that there is any merit to my suggestion that the mods should consist of at least two groups capable of criticizing each other's decisions, people who can make decisions independently from each other but who both want what is best for the forum? |

what, are we also electing a president, selecting ministers, congressmen, also adopting the principle of separation of powers to rule an... online forum? |

I think friends are probably more critical of each other since they are close enough/open enough to tell them when they think they are wrong. Now i'm not against new mods from different groups or "cliques", I just don't think that being friends or not being friends is a a determining factor in how well they will work together. |

Hmm. Interesting. So you're saying because you were such close friends with Windmill you were completely capable of telling her that her decisions were bad. By logic we'd have to conclude that you actually agreed with her decisions because you didn't tell her that she was wrong while being completely capable of doing so. Is that right? |

Yeah, I don't know why they're doing that. I guess they've discovered it's hard to argue with somebody who's right without making oneself look like an ass. I do want them to take on the responsibility of censoring names rather than leaving it to anons. |

If you can link, that would be fine. Contrary to what she's said, she's posted quite a bit. It's hard to find. |

Was it something like, "I should've done something different but I can't because I'm too weak and Windmill is too strong and scary and I don't want to offend her or any of my internet friends which I cherish too much"? |

Good talk anon, now that we are done pointlessly discussing the past we can get on to more important things. I am all for the janitor position, rexie is a great candidate. Also im in love with the "trollbuster"(i think thats what was mentioned) that someone suggested, if there were a vote right now i'd go with this one

Yeah, I don't know Rexie. Should be okay as long as she's not you or Windmill or Rei. Also, I nominate Arti if she wants it. |

You're assuming that we want the job, which Ill just speak for myself to avoid putting words in their mouths. I would not touch any job on this site with a 10 foot pole, my internet experience is currently stress/drama free and I'd like to keep it that way ![]() I think anyone could handle this job just fine, we just need people with timezones that arent too close together so that there is always at least 1 person online who can battle the pic trolls for us. |

I didn't say I was stressed on tlc, being a mod there didn't bother me at all ![]() I'm talking about this site, there are a few anons who seem to want to make our experience less then enjoyable. If they give mods who do a fine job trouble then they will for sure give me trouble since you could say I "deserve" it. Dealing with them day in and day out is not worth it just to delete some pictures, so I wouldn't volunteer for the job. Im also only an hour behind the mods of this site, so thats not really ideal anyhow. |
