Yeah, I can barely read your posts through my tears. You should feel guilty about it. And lol, just because CoD children complained about the difficulty doesn't make it actually difficult. I didn't even get Live until recently, so I had the exact same circumstances as you, and it was still ridiculously easy, but you believe whatever makes you happy, bud. If you want to console yourself that it requires hard strategy because you didn't know how to use mages, I'm not going to stop you. This is getting OT now, so I won't reply any more. Enjoy your delusional stanning, and feel free to reply all in caps and bolded again. |

Haha this is gold I ruffled Artichoke's feathers just because I disagreed with her you're the one complaining about tactics being random, so I guessed you sucked at it and was quite frustrated I can't imagine playing on NIGHTMARE like you say and with your tactics all messed up congrats you are a god of videogames LOL it's even funner how you're trying to impress I don't know whom with your little lies, especially me who played the game and know how it works "yeah I played on NIGHTMARE and thought it was easy!" and CoD players have a too short of attention span to spend even 5 minutes on DA: Origins, so no it wasn't them lol |

Since we're on the topic of games has anyone played this one that came out recently? I decided to get it it cause it has my fav lesbro Ellen Page in it. That and I also played Quantic dreams past game,Heavy Rain, and really liked it. I'm at the part where Jodie is at the Navajo ranch and I still don't know if I really like this "game" or not. I feel Quantic dreams improved a lot on stuff like graphics, but failed on game play, and made me feel that the decisions I made weren't as important as the decisions I made in their past games. I like the game's story though(even if it does have some laughable cliches), Ellen's acting is superb, and the graphics are the most realistic I've ever seen, but I don't know if I can call it a game. It just seems like an interactive movie for me, and I'm starting to feel it may be better as a movie instead. If there's one thing I'm certain of, is that I hate the fighting mechanic. It's difficult to tell in just a moment what direction Jodie's body is facing so I can point the joystick towards the same direction, so I end up failing at it. But my failure, doesn't really create any new outcomes like it did in Heavy rain where if I failed at some qt event or whatevs, my character could die. So far the game kinda irritates me cause it gives the illusion that I have a ton of choices I can make, when really, I only have a set amount of choices, and even less outcomes to accompany those choices. PS Arti Since you played Shadow Hearts, I was wondering if you played or know the prequel to the series, Koudelka, as well. If not, I 'd highly recommend it. The fighting system is pretty shitty and annoying(beware of good weapons breaking) but the story, graphics, and voice acting are very good for a playstation one game. |

^ That looks like a solid trailer, I'll probably think about getting that. I've not played it, no! I've been meaning to get a hold of it, but I've not managed to as of yet. I have watched a Let's Play of it, though, if just because Shadow Hearts is one of my favourites. |

@anon talking about Beyond Two Souls I was really stoked for it when it was announced, and sadly I moved and now don't have my PS3 to play it on... ![]() The reviews for it have been a real mess though, even though I haven't played it myself I have to say I'm kind of disappointed as I too loved Heavy Rain a lot (whatever happened to all the Heavy Rain DLC, The Taxidermist was brilliant!) Glad to read what someone who isn't a reviewer has to say about it, I think I'll try and pick it up when I return home. I hope Quantic Dream do make more games though, I reaply like the approach they took with Heavy Rain. |

Really? Weird. Maybe I was playing on Hard and mistaken then, since I think the Varterral achievement unlocks for Hard and Nightmare. @Pod I'd wait a bit if you're unsure, reviews aren't always accurate. People spazzed over FFXIII and we all know how absolute shite that is. |

I found DA:O rediculously easy once yu have Wynn, give her blood magic and make her you healbot and unless you take alot of burst aoe damage your party is nigh undefeatable =\. |

Yeah, my party was Mage Warden, Wynne, Alistair, Leliana, and I gave both Wynne/Mage Warden ice AoE and Cone of Cold, and gave Leliana Scattershot. I don't think I died more than twice in the whole game, and both of those times were against Kolgrim bc those stupid-ass mages ice AoE-ed me before Leliana loaded Scattershot. |

Only your character can become a blood mage in Origins through the Connor quest, you make a pact with the devil and unlock the blood mage specialization |

ah that's right though it's quite absurd because she has a problem with blood mages if the warden misses the chance to become a blood mage through Connor's quest, there is no other chance |

Hard mode is definitely feasible for most things (still have trouble beating the High Dragon as well as a few other opponents-that-shall-remain-unnamed-for-sake-of-spoilering). |

^ Make Wynn your healer, set up your macros so that when she goes out of mana she swaps to blood magic to heal, when she gets low hp she turns off blood magic and heals herself. If you get the shard guy (I forget his name) the game is ridiculously easy, especially if you want to swap Alistair into a full mage-bane templar. |

Yeah. I didn't use Morrigan tbh because her shapeshifting is useless, and Wynne at least has some stat points into healing and elemental. With two mages both heal/ice based, a rogue to stun bitches and a anti-mage tank, you can easily storm the game on Hard with that setup. It's honestly not difficult in the slightest. |

Hrmm.. I'm SH a go after I check out GTA5 And if I get into DA, I might pick up Origins anyway? I just don't like randomly jumping into a series (esp. if there's a plot), even though you said I won't miss much.. From Tekken (based on character fighting styles): Lee Chaolan/Violet, Devil Jin, Michelle Chang (And lately, Dragunov and Zafina)From SC: Raphael, Yun-Seong, Siegfried Who are yours? Yeah, I gravitate towards games where you just go in and beat the crap out of everyone. I didn't like WOW because I had no idea what it was, someone had installed it on my PC and I didn't know what I was suppose to do so just wandered about for a while until I happened on some giant mechanic crabs (sleeping) and decided to give them a prod, which prompted them to wake up and kill me. That's when I decided it was a dumb game. I didn't mind FF at all but I mostly picked it up for the pretty girls (FFX-2) and it was fun to watch them change costumes and stuff. (I nearly had a aneurysm when I completed it and realised that I couldn't get 100% because I skipped a cut scene that I'd seen a thousand times over. *angryfaceemoticon* What is Mass Effect? I also like arcade games like Time Crisis (shooter games in general) and driver games. |

Hope you like it! It's one of my old time favs. Yeah, but don't let it form your opinion of the DA2, because they're wildly different, and I will maintain that 2 is an improvement. All you need to know from Origins is that Sauron started an Orc invasion and Aragorn killed him and stopped them. Tekken, based on fighting styles, would be Asuka (I know she's teeechnically a style expy, but!!) and Lili, mostly because I used those a lot so I'm used to them now. SC, I like Raphael, Yun-Seong, Talim and Viola. Dat orb is kickass. |

Mass Effect is a sci-fi fantasy type rpg made by the same developers as DA. Not as familiar with it as DA b/c i've only played the first one, but I quite enjoyed it.

Button-mash Asuka!? Arti I expected better from you ![]() If you know what you're doing with Asuka you can really mess someone up ![]() In TTT2 I sometimes play as Jun and Asuka so I don't have to bother moving my hands too much for different combos ![]() Sadly I've actually forgotten all the other characters I used to play as. There's an arcade on my street though (about 20p a pop) so I think I'll head down there and play some Tekken, I love that game. |

Oh, yeah, Yamaoka Akira composed the soundtrack for that, I think. I've not played it yet. I know! I just don't play as her enough to warrant learning the combos, since Lili's dumbfuck animations are my favourite things ever. |

(and to anyone who plays as Christie/Eddy)I usually like to perform different combos but when I get to final round/difficult opponent I'm p. much just mashing out the same combo that I know will land. And I didn't have as much time for games when I discovered playing outdoors. I've somewhat grown out of it but I've only managed to find new distractions.
