Prologue: Dxun Moon

"Master Jedi," a voice quietly spoke out from the infinite darkness of the Dxun moon's jungles. The shine off of the individual's gold wrapped uniform was the only thing that stood out from behind the shadows. His words only reached out to one individual: an averaged sized figure who is bending down over a humanoid body surrounded by other bodies. His body language told everything about how he felt then and there; it told the story of his regret and dismay towards this unfortunate falling and deaths of these men. His long blonde hair fell over his face, so no one else can see his expression of sadness. The source of the voice walked out towards the man, who has yet to turn to him, and revealed himself to be a slightly more muscled black man with a similar height. His eyes were hardened, and cold, and his voice told a similar feeling to his eyes. His words, even from the two words he began with, came out rugged and sharp. He was to the point and direct, though he did show respect of titles to those around him. This man wore a brown uniform laced in a golden border, and his right eye was scarred. He had a few medals also declaring honor. From this its safe to assume he was a soldier of some sort, and in reality he was a general in the Onderon Ground Forces. "We are ready, sir. The troops are prepared, though I must again tell you my regret of not having more soldiers with us." The soldier, the general showcases a sincere moment here, however more surprisingly: he gives the Jedi respect in a time where they are despised by most in the galaxy.

"Its unfortunate all these men had to die." The Jedi stated as he finally stood facing the general. His voice there telling the same story his body told previously, and his blue eyes finally facing the general shown a great empathy towards all of them- even his opponents. The general simply crossed his arms as he nodded understandingly, though not giving any real emotion. The Jedi bowed showing his respect to the dead before walking towards the general. "I appreciate your regrets, General; however I must display my own. We don't need any more men falling in an absolute war like what has happened here. Battle may be the casting iron that forms us; however, don't let it become you, my friend." The Jedi spoke with a certain tone that said his disgust towards the lack of empathy the soldiers are forced to have, however still having a concern for the soldiers themselves. The Jedi smiled as he patted the General on the back walking towards the direction he came from. "I'm ready whenever you are, sir." The Jedi said casually as he continued walking, allowing the General to call the shot of when to begin their mission. After a few moments, the General softly said to himself "Its time to head back home to Onderon then."

Roleplay: Onderon

The Jedi quietly made his way through the crowd of people in the market district of Onderon. He wore the still fine robes of an Onderon commoner (though nothing comparing to the robes of the nobles), and his long blonde hair was slightly decorated to showcase more customs of the Onderon people. His eyes however at times didn't fit the bill of a commoner on the planet. His lightsabers were the most interesting thing to hide, as he used an equipment belt and literally braced them to his back underneath his robes. The act required as much careful action as it did cunning stupidity. In truth, if one lucky hit comes across his back, one may turn on and give his disguise away.

He looked around the groups of people aimlessly at times as he walked. However to his dismay, he couldn't find what he was looking for. All he could find were uninterested people going through their own day to day activities. Most, seemed to be completely uninterested in the war at all. If he didn't know any better, he would have even assumed these people were unaware of the efforts on Dxun, and currently the battle taking place in space. This activity, and lack of concern led the Jedi to believe he was closer to what he was seeking for than his eyes would allow him to see. He believed the Force had its own way of allowing people to find what they need at the moment they need it.

Quietly he continued his path through the market place and looking more and more through the area. He was determined whatever he was looking for must be there! There was no way the sources he had gotten were wrong. Finally having a sigh showcasing his regret, the Jedi scratched his head smiling at the fact he couldn't find what he was looking for. He needed to think, meditate on what exactly he should do. This moment of deep thought left the Jedi in a mistake. It put him at a stand still, something he was told he should never do in the Market place as an Onderon commoner. It made him stand out like a sore thumb.

The day dragged on as most did. The sky was bright, the air musky warm, and the minutes were surely still ticking by but to Elly, time had stopped. Rumors had been circulating continuously, whispers of a second invasion were on everyone's lips. The market place had been full just before sunrise, thousands marched through to gather supplies and bid farewell to those who had the courage to stay.

Courage wasn't on Elly's mind. It was the quietness that captured her thoughts. The few souls who wandered looked as scared as she felt and voiced as much. 'The ships, do you see them?' a few would ask as they passed, their eyes focused on the stars. Elly would just nod and keep her eyes down. There was no need to look.

Her thoughts were all she had, her thoughts of Grayson, of Chandrila, of her past here and the future that was all but certain. And the day dragged on. She organized the shop, wandered aimlessly from shelf to shelf, basket to basket, messing up displays and reorganizing them as a distraction.

After her attempt at diversion failed, Elly stepped out past her family's store front and took a deep breath. As she blew out a sigh and brushed her blonde hair back, her blue eyes finally lifted to the stars. She shook her head. "I really don't want to be here... she said quietly, to whom or what she didn't know. Really, to anyone. Anything. But she had no choice, no way off the planet, no escape from the coming war. Elly was stuck and no pleading with her aunt and uncle would change that.

The thought broke her solemn contemplation. That was the first time she'd thought of those two all day. They'd gone to the docks to gather the recent, and likely, last shipment of supplies... But they should have been back by now. Elly had a feeling that the day certainly couldn't get any worse.

Tired of the view already, Elly turned to move back inside when her eyes swept the marketplace. A man stood out among the handful that had been moving. He was still as the Onderon trees and had a look about him that reminded Elly of a sleep walking man. It was certainly a strange sight. Puzzled, she stepped out towards him and said gently, "Is there anything I can help you find, Sir?" He looked like a commoner, but there was something about him that spoke otherwise.

(OOC: I am SO SORRY! That it took me so long to get this up. Thank you so much for your patience. This is my first holiday working retail and I was so not prepared for the little personal time I'd have. :( )
