Queens Park Rangers vs. Liverpool F.C.
SU, 19 October 2014, 1:30pm GMT (8:30am US EDT)
Loftus Road, London

Liverpool return to action after the international break with a journey south to Loftus Road to face Queens Park Rangers in the Barclays Premier League.

The Reds will be seeking to build on their previous run-out in the division - a 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion at Anfield.

December 2012 was the last time this fixture was played, with Brendan Rodgers' side claiming a 3-0 triumph on that occasion.

...if news reports are to be believed, Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge could be out for the next month with a calf injury...
Quote:

Daniel Sturridge just can’t catch a break.

After missing more than a month of play after injuring his thigh in training with England, Sturridge was on pace to make his return for Liverpool this Sunday against Queens Park Rangers. Unfortunately for Liverpool, Sturridge picked up a calf strain in training and may be sidelined yet another month for the Reds.

If the timetable for Sturridge’s return is correct, he could miss massive games for Liverpool, including their Premier League matchup with Chelsea in early November along with both of the Reds’ Champions League clashes with Real Madrid.

After scoring 25 goals in all competitions last season, Sturridge was supposed to be the main man for Liverpool up top with the departure of Luis Suarez. However, Sturridge has only played in three games this season as Liverpool sit in the middle of the table.

With Sturridge sidelined for another long period of time, Brendan Rodgers will be desperate for Rickie Lambert to find his form at Anfield. After moving from Southampton this summer, the English striker has admittedly struggled to recapture the form that saw him featured in England’s World Cup squad this summer.

Lambert has yet to score for Liverpool, as both himself and fellow summer-signing Mario Balotelli have added pressure to score without the likes of Daniel Sturridge in the lineup. Liverpool travel to Loftus Road where they face Queens Park Rangers this Sunday. The match can be seen live at 7:30 a.m. on NBCSN or online via Live Extra.(NBC ProSoccerTalk)

Moreno is he injured or being rested??
If I remember correctly, he - along w/Lovren - suffered minor injuries during the recent international break, so odds are they're probably resting him for today in hopes he'll be ready for Wednesday.

...and we are underway at Loftus Road!
Both sides facing pressure: for the Reds', they face 7 matches in 21 days, including a pair of Champions League games w/Real Madrid, while for the Hoops, they desperately want to get out of the drop zone and while a win can't do that for QPR, it could keep Harry Redknapp in the manager's seat there a little bit longer...
