Author: Chris Shaw @shawct --Five of Liverpool's on-loan contingent have been in action for their temporary clubs across the weekend – find out how they fared with our latest round-up.
On Friday evening, centre-back Tiago Ilori featured in the opening 27 minutes for Bordeaux before being withdrawn. They were subsequently beaten 1-0 by Reims in their Ligue 1 encounter.
The following day, Oussama Assaidi was introduced as a substitute 18 minutes into Stoke City's Barclays Premier League clash at Sunderland. The Moroccan picked up a booking as his team were overturned 3-1 at the Stadium of Light.
In the Championship, there was a Derby County start for Jordon Ibe and he was involved for 65 minutes of a goalless stalemate at home to Millwall.
Elsewhere in the same division, Joao Carlos Teixeira completed the match for Sami Hyypia's Brighton & Hove Albion in a creditable 1-1 draw away at Watford.
Brad Smith was an unused substitute, watching on as Swindon Town racked up a 2-1 victory over Leyton Orient to move into second place in League One.
In La Liga, midfielder Luis Alberto remained on the bench too. His Malaga side recovered from an early deficit to down Granada 2-1.
His compatriot Iago Aspas did enjoy some game time on Sunday, however, entering Sevilla's clash with Deportivo La Coruna for the concluding 11 minutes. They were comfortable 4-1 winners.

Author: Chris Shaw @shawct --Four of Liverpool's group of players out on loan were in action across the weekend, with news to report of a goal for one and an assist by another – read our round-up for more details.
On Saturday, Jordon Ibe played the entire match for Derby County in the Championship and punctuated his performance with a goal shortly before half-time. They ran out 3-0 winners at Reading.
In the same division, Joao Carlos Teixeira featured for the opening half-hour for Brighton & Hove Albion. Sami Hyypia's outfit were overturned 2-1 by Middlesbrough on home soil.
Later in the day, striker Divock Origi was involved throughout Lille's 2-1 defeat by Guingamp in Ligue 1 - a rare disappointment amid a bright start to the season for the Belgian.
On Sunday, Oussama Assaidi entered the action as a second-half substitute for Stoke City and, within three minutes, created the winning goal in a 2-1 home victory over Swansea City.

Author: Chris Shaw @shawct --Half-a-dozen Liverpool players were in action with their loan clubs across the weekend – find out how they fared with our latest weekly round-up of their exploits.
Firstly, on Friday evening, centre-back Rafael Paez was an unused substitute for Bologna in their goalless stalemate with Modena in Serie B.
Oussama Assaidi was introduced for the final 11 minutes as Stoke City were overturned 1-0 by Southampton in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday.
Elsewhere in the division, Andre Wisdom featured for the entirety of a 2-2 draw for West Bromwich Albion, who battled from two goals behind against Crystal Palace.
At Championship level, young winger Jordon Ibe completed the first half in Derby County's 2-1 home reversal against Wigan Athletic.
Joao Carlos Teixeira entered for the closing 10 minutes for Brighton & Hove Albion. Sami Hyypia's team drew 1-1 at home to Rotherham United.
On Sunday, Iago Aspas took to the field in the 74th minute for Sevilla and they scored a brace of late goals to secure a 2-1 victory over Villarreal.
There was frustration for fellow striker Divock Origi, however, as Lille were beaten 2-0 at Rennes in France's Ligue 1.

Liverpool FC: Loan Watch - Ibe's Delight At Stunning Strike For Rams

- Quote:
-
Author: Steve Hunter --Jordon Ibe produced a sparkling display and netted a fantastic opener as Derby County returned to winning ways with a 3-2 win over Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night.
After successive defeats in the Championship, Steve McClaren's side bounced back in fine style, with the on-loan Liverpool winger playing a pivotal part in their success.
Ibe broke the deadlock with a beauty, slaloming in from the left before offloading a pass, continuing into the area and side-footing home first time when the ball was returned to him.
Speaking to the official Derby County website, Ibe said: "I enjoyed it last night; it was great to get back on course, getting back to winning ways and picking up the three points. It was great from Jeff Hendrick to pull the ball back to me; the hard bit was to finish it. It was great for us to win last night and get back on course ahead of this weekend's game with Wolverhampton. It's great to play with these players - I know their movement, and they know mine, so it is great to play alongside them. The whole squad was doing well, it was all about getting back on course and we managed to do that."
The 18-year-old admits he is thoroughly enjoying his spell at the iPro Stadium and also spoke of his gratitude to manager McClaren, who has handed him an opportunity to shine at the club.
Ibe added: "It's been a demanding fixture list, but I am enjoying it because there is a lot of football there for me. At my age, it's great to be playing football. It's great here to get the chance to play, under this head coach and this team, I have learned a lot and I am looking forward to what is to come as the season goes on."

Liverpool FC: Loan Watch - Origi On The Mark & A Cameo For Phil

- Quote:
-
Author: Chris Shaw @shawct --Divock Origi found the target for Belgium on Wednesday evening as they warmed up for an important qualifier against Wales this weekend by beating Iceland 3-1 in Brussels. The on-loan Liverpool striker rose from the substitutes' bench at half-time and required just 17 minutes to restore his country's advantage in the friendly match with a powerful drive from the edge of the area.
Nicolas Lombaerts' opener had previously been levelled by Alfred Finnbogason, before Romelu Lukaku further extended the home side's lead and sealed the result. Simon Mignolet was an unused substitute throughout the tie, which served as preparation for a meeting with Wales - and fellow Reds Joe Allen and Danny Ward - in Euro 2016 qualifying on Sunday.
Meanwhile, midfielder Philippe Coutinho featured for the final 17 minutes as Brazil eased to a 4-0 friendly victory in Turkey. The 22-year-old has re-established himself as part of the South Americans' squad in recent months, and was introduced to the action in the closing stages in Istanbul.
By then, the win had long been secured for Dunga's team with four unanswered efforts. Neymar scored twice, sandwiching an own goal and a strike from Willian. Next up for Brazil and Coutinho during this international period is another friendly encounter in Europe - they face Austria next Tuesday, November 18.

Liverpool FC: Jordon Shiens With Curler

- Quote:
-
Author: Chris Shaw @shawct --A well-taken finish by Jordon Ibe was the highlight of a frustrating weekend for Liverpool's contingent of players currently out on loan - find out more with our latest round-up.
Defender Andre Wisdom completed 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge but could not prevent West Bromwich Albion from losing 2-0 against Chelsea. Oussama Assaidi was an unused substitute for Stoke City as they were overturned 2-1 by Burnley in the Barclays Premier League. The same was true of Sebastian Coates, who remained on the bench for Sunderland in their goalless stalemate at Leicester City.
In the Championship, Ibe scored a sublime curler from the corner of the penalty box to set Derby County on their way to a 2-1 victory over Watford. Joao Carlos Teixeira watched from the sidelines as Brighton & Hove Albion were involved in a topsy-turvy 3-3 draw with Norwich City.
Iago Aspas featured for the closing 17 minutes at the Nou Camp, where Sevilla were downed 5-1 by Barcelona. In the same division, there was a late cameo for Luis Alberto, although his Malaga team were already beaten 3-1 at Atletico Madrid in La Liga. Young defender Rafael Paez was an unused substitute for Bologna - they drew 1-1 at Spezia in Serie B.

Andre Wisdom & Sebastian Coates would be in my starting 11 every week right now! At this point, I wouldn't leave anything off the table...I've seen Wisdom play a couple of times this year and he's done pretty good for West Brom, so it does make one wonder what he'd be like for us...

Liverpool FC: Loan Watch - Joy For Andre & Divock

- Quote:
-
Author: Chris Shaw @shawct --A mixed weekend for the contingent of Liverpool players currently out on loan saw highlights for two players in particular – find out all of the details with our latest round-up.
On Friday, Joao Carlos Teixeira was involved for the entirety of Brighton & Hove Albion's 1-0 Championship reversal against Millwall.
Oussama Assaidi was an unused substitute for Stoke City as they drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace on Saturday in the Barclays Premier League.
Centre-back Sebastian Coates experienced exactly the same scenario with Sunderland, remaining on the bench throughout their 1-1 stalemate against West Ham United.
It was a much better day for their fellow defender, Andre Wisdom, who played 90 minutes in West Bromwich Albion's 1-0 win over Aston Villa.
In the Championship, young winger Jordon Ibe was introduced at half-time for Derby County, but could not prevent a 2-0 defeat by Middlesbrough.
Luis Alberto watched from the sidelines in La Liga as Malaga defeated Celta Vigo 1-0.
It was a similar story for youngster Rafael Paez - he was limited to the bench during Bologna's 2-2 draw with Frosinone in Serie B.
On Sunday evening, Divock Origi completed the match in helping Lille to a 3-0 Ligue 1 triumph over Toulouse. The Belgium international striker teed up the final goal.

Liverpool FC: Origi Awarded Promising Talent Honour

- Quote:
-
Author: Liverpool FC --Divock Origi's displays throughout 2014 were acknowledged with a prestigious prize as the Liverpool loanee became the recipient of Belgium's Promising Talent of the Year award. Origi signed for the Reds in July, linking up with the squad during their tour of the United States in order to complete the switch, before returning to Lille to fulfil a further spell with the Ligue 1 outfit.
Brendan Rodgers had been keeping tabs on the striker prior to this summer's FIFA World Cup in Brazil; however, it was there that the 19-year-old announced himself to a global audience with a series of strong displays. Having been brought into Belgium's squad to replace the injured Christian Benteke, Origi made his international debut in a pre-tournament warm-up contest with Luxembourg soon after.
Out in Brazil, he set pulses racing, grabbing a late winner to decide a tight contest and earn his side a 1-0 triumph over Russia in the group stage. The Belgian Sportsman of the Year is announced each December and has been awarded since 1967. This year, Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois became the first footballer to scoop the main prize.
The Promising Talent of the Year award was added to the honours list in 1998, when tennis star Kim Clijsters picked up the inaugural award. In 2009, Romelu Lukaku, now an Everton player, picked up the honour. Origi became the latest youngster to scoop the trophy - which was voted for by Belgian sports writers and former winners - although he was unable to collect the prize in person due to footballing commitments with Lille.
Kristof Terreur, a Belgian journalist for Het Laatste Nieuws, told Liverpoolfc.com: "Origi captured Belgian hearts during the World Cup with his important goal against Russia. "Although he had a decent season at Lille, everyone in Belgium was surprised that Marc Wilmots called him up in his World Cup squad and, like in a fairytale, he immediately made his impact on the team - all captured in that one goal.
"Belgium discovered a young, elegant, technically gifted, fast striker. One who confirmed his potential in the other international games he played. For the award of Promising Talent of the Year he was competing with Tim Wellens, a cyclist who ended fifth in the Giro d'Italia, and cyclocross talent Wout Van Aert, World and European Champion in the U23s.
"We can't expect Origi to be world-class yet, although he showed glimpses of his huge potential. He's still a young player, with his highs and his lows. Everyone knows he's a bright talent. He's fast, technically gifted, elegant and powerful. But, at this moment, we don't want to raise the bar too high for him."
Congrats to Divock on the award!

Liverpool FC: Loan Watch - Alberto's Rapid Impact

- Quote:
-
Author: Chris Shaw @shawct --Our latest round-up on the exploits of Liverpool's contingent of on-loan players features a moment to remember for one youngster in particular.
There was Barclays Premier League frustration for Andre Wisdom on Saturday. His West Bromwich Albion team led by two goals at Queens Park Rangers but were eventually beaten 3-2.
In the Championship, Jordon Ibe featured for 82 minutes of Derby County's 2-2 draw against Norwich City. Joao Carlos Teixeira, meanwhile, clocked up 74 minutes as Brighton & Hove Albion secured a point from a 1-1 result at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
On Sunday, Sebastian Coates played the entire match and helped Sunderland record a 1-0 victory over north east rivals Newcastle United in the Premier League.
Divock Origi was involved for the entirety of Lille's match but could not prevent a 2-1 Ligue 1 loss against Marseille. Later that day in the same division, defender Tiago Ilori watched from the substitutes' bench as Bordeaux suffered a chastening 5-0 defeat at home to Lyon.
It was a much better evening for Luis Alberto. The midfielder was introduced in the 77th minute for Malaga and required just seconds to slam home from the edge of the box and claim a 2-1 victory over Elche.
