...from the BBC's twitter feed....
-Neil Halliwell: Where on earth would we be without Gerrard?!
-Henry Hall: This just shows how badly Liverpool will play without Steven Gerrard. He's their saviour.
-Rob Gould: Remind me again why we aren't doing everything possible to keep Stevie Gerrard??

Steven Gerrard is causing AFC Wimbledon all sorts of problems. The Liverpool man is picking the ball up in space and driving at a tiring defence. Hat trick anyone?

Match of the Day's Danny Murphy
Quote:

"Liverpool are fortunate they've got Steven Gerrard as his two bits of quality have been the difference between the sides - not much else. Their passing has been a bit better, you'd expect that, but AFC Wimbledon have had the best clear-cut chances. Can they find an extra yard of pace or brilliant pass or wonder goal to get back in this tie?"

-Chris Hokywell in North Wales: You obviously don't watch lfc much, gerrard been average for a year and a half?? We don't play afc Wimbledon every week!!!
-David in Warrington: Stick Gerrard in front of the back four and he looks 34. Stick him begin the striker and he looks 24.
-Jim on a train: Please, please, please persuade Stevie G to stay.

BBC: Close! Philippe Coutinho should seal the win for Liverpool after being played in on goal by Steven Gerrard. Coutinho's side footed shot from seven yards is easy for goalkeeper James Shea to divert wide.
