....following the BBC feed, one has to really, really, really, feel sorry for Swansea City....why, you may ask?
-Swansea 0-4 Chelsea

Did Swansea players have a rough night's kip last night? (BBC)
....one more thought on the ass-kicking that Chelsea is currently delivering to the Swans atm....
Former Wales striker John Hartson

"We knew Chelsea can do this to you if you do not come out of the traps quickly. Since the early goal Swansea have had nothing in attack. They are struggling to play the system Garry Monk has asked them to play, and it looks like it's going to be a hammering here. For the third goal, and Diego Costa's second, Federico Fernandez makes a terrible mistake - he literally passes the ball to Costa in his own 18-yard box. It's embarrassing for Swansea."

(BBC) Liverpool close to doubling the lead as Raheem Sterling races through on goal but he tries to be too clever and his chip ends up straight in the hands of Brad Guzan. Why he hasn't put his foot through that only he can answer but, in hindsight, that was a terrible option.

37:37 Attempt saved. Raheem Sterling (Liverpool) right footed shot from the centre of the box is saved in the centre of the goal. Assisted by Lucas Leiva with a headed pass.

CLOSE! Aston Villa 0-1 Liverpool
Better from Aston Villa and they should be level. Ashley Westwood slips Tom Cleverley through on goal but, closed down by a defender and goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, he pokes the ball wide.

"Liverpool are in front and Aston Villa will be thankful Raheem Sterling did not make it two. Villa, with two wins from their last 17 league games, have got some talking and think to do at the break."
