--Liverpool Ladies will begin their Women's Super League title defence with a home game against newly-promoted Sunderland Ladies at the Select Security Stadium on Wednesday March 25. The Reds will then face Birmingham City Ladies in Widnes on Wednesday April 1 before visiting last season's runners-up, Chelsea Ladies, on Sunday April 19.

Matt Beard's side will then lock horns with current Continental Cup holders Manchester City Women twice within the space of five days - on Saturday April 25 and then away on Wednesday April 29. The restart of the Women's Super League, following the conclusion of the FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada, will see the Reds travel to London to play Arsenal Ladies on Sunday July 12. Meanwhile, for the third season in a row, the Reds will close their campaign with a clash against Bristol Academy on Sunday October 4.

Reflecting on the fixtures, Beard said: "I am delighted that we will begin the season with a home game in Widnes and hopefully we can get a great crowd at the Select Security Stadium. Sunderland Ladies will provide us with a stern test as they are an exciting young side, so we will need to be fully prepared come March 25."
