Jamie Carragher, the Bootle boy who played 737 games for Liverpool, celebrates turning 37 today. To mark the occasion, we've put together a special gallery which charts the Scouser's rise from youngster to Reds icon.

-1997: Makes his debut in January and scores on his first start 10 days later
-1998: Breaks into the Liverpool first team at the end of the 1997-98 season
