I can see Sterlings point now, whistle1

There's a good reason why....

"Liverpool's fans are buoyed by their early attacking efforts. Unusual to see the excellent Hugo Lloris make such a mistake for Lazar Markovic's goal - shot wasn't brilliantly hit and deceived him."

While Tottenham try to press Liverpool all over the pitch, the Reds have triggers - times when they will press and times when they will drop off. The Reds' method looks better at the moment. Meanwhile, Harry Kane has a pop from the centre circle but his radar is not working for this one.

....well, it was bound to happen at some point: Spurs go on the attack, thread it to their talisman, Harry Kane...and you can guess what happened.... swe1 ...a quick flick around Sakho, a solid shot at the goal...and its' even at Anfield; Liverpool 1, Spurs 1.

"Harry Kane's confidence was illustrated by an ambitious attempt from the halfway line that did not work. The finish for his goal was much more routine and one he was never going to miss on his current golden run. Not afraid to go looking for work either."

The game is quite stretched now - first Jordon Ibe running into the box and then a cul-de-sac, before Harry Kane picks up the ball and drives forward but his attempt to switch play ends in him giving the ball away. It was easily a 22-yard pass he tried. Mark that one down, Louis.

Jordon Ibe should be upfront i can imagine defenders would be terrified of that pace and power.

Philippe Coutinho has been fairly quiet so far, but he looks dangerous when he picks up the ball in the hole and slides it through for Jordon Ibe who runs at the full-back and puts in a low cross which is cut out. The youngster is very direct and is bringing a new dimension to Liverpool's play down the right.

What makes Ibe such a dangerous quality for us is that opposing teams don't know how to defend agst. him; since they haven't seen him, they don't know how to react or what to do...that's an advantage to us if BR & Co. can figure out how to use it to our advantage...

....and speaking of Ibe: that was a low rocket from him off his wrong-foot...and though Lloris stopped it, it definitely sent the Frenchman back a half-step as he stopped it...
