I'll also be happy w/a draw, Teebag...if you think about it, Southampton's got more at stake here in that they're right in the fight for a top-4 spot atm, which means that, w/United's loss at Swansea today, a win for the Saints - God forbid that happen, mind you - jumps them into third, whereas w/a draw, they'd leave points on the table. That said, we did beat them at the beginning of the year...and given how much better the squad is now compared to then, I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool won agst. the Saints. |

Sterling will start i reckon, no Gerrard still injured. Southampton have many players coming back from injury so a stern test today |

"Is that a cigarette your smoking Lister?" - "No, Its a Chicken!!" SmegHead "sorry goose it time to buzz the tower" | |

....from the BBC's SMS Text feed.... -Shaun Warnock, Ayrshire: Massive gamble by Brendan Rodgers to rest Daniel Sturridge. Biggest game of the season, would he not have been better resting him on Thursday? Time will tell but he better hope he gets a result. -Ashwin, Cambridge: That starting XI from Brendan Rodgers really worries me, only two established defenders (one of whom has been shocking this season) and no established strikers. Today will decide whether he is a tactical genius or an oaf. |
