Current Premier League Table as it stands (European positions):![]() -For Swansea, the equation is simple: win and they leapfrog Stoke into 8th on 43 pts -For Liverpool, the equation is equally simple: win and they draw back to within 2 pts of Manchester United, which means that in their next match against the Red Devils' would see Liverpool move into a Champions League position and United fall into the first of two Europa League positions* * - at present, the table above only shows one Europa League position; since Chelsea has already won the League Cup (which awards a Europa League berth to its' winner), the next team not already qualified for Europe gets a berth into Europa League action...at the moment, Southampton would be the second Europa League club from England to qualify. There is also the possibility that, should England be one of the top-three nations in FIFA's Fair Play Rankings, the Premier League could receive a third Europa League berth, which at present, would go to Tottenham Hotspur |

Premier League preview Swansea v Liverpool (20:00 GMT) --There is not just FA Cup action on Monday evening - there is also a key Premier League match with Swansea hosting Liverpool in a game which you can hear live on 5 live sports extra from 19:45 GMT. Here are some key facts ahead of the game: (1)Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 12 league games (W9, D3). They are the only unbeaten team left in the Premier League in 2015. (2)Swansea have beaten Liverpool only once in seven matches (D3, L3) since winning promotion to the Premier League in 2011 and Brendan Rodgers was the Swansea manager for that sole Premier League win, a 1-0 triumph at the Liberty Stadium in May 2012. (3)Rodgers won 36 of his 84 league matches as manager of Swansea, guiding them to promotion to the Premier League in 2010-11. (4)Swansea have only lost three home matches this season, and 25 of their 40 points have come at the Liberty Stadium. |

...from the BBC's Twitter feed.... -Jamel McFarlane: Man City will miss out because their form is really poor. -Jack Richardson: Arsenal are in good enough shape for second or third now. Liverpool and United will scrap for fourth - with LFC coming out on top. |
