A record in sight
Swansea City v Liverpool (20:00 GMT)

Liverpool's defenders can join some great names in sharing a rare record this evening. The last time the Reds went six away games without conceding a goal came in 1972, with Emlyn Hughes (left) marshalling things at the back. Tonight Liverpool can reach half a dozen trips on the road without leaking a goal. The only other time the club achieved the run came in 1965-66.

"Nice one for that mate."
--That's what Lukasz Fabianski must be thinking as Ashley Williams gives him an absolute rotter of a backpass. It results in a Liverpool corner but Martin Skrtel heads over. No second goal of the season for him.

Pass, pass, pass, Swansea's midfield diamond operates with some distinction early on but there is no cutting edge. Wayne Routledge tries to play a clever flick pass, that's troubling no one. Simon Mignolet's goal kick is troubling the front row of fans though. A slice.

...and Sturridge takes a crack at the Swansea goal; sends it wide of the mark, but a warning nonetheless to the opposition...

Jordan Henderson has the legs for some serious coverage of grass and they gallop to tackle Neil Taylor as the Swansea full-back attacks down the left but Henderson comes up short and hacks his target down. Clear booking. In comes the delivery from wide and Simon Mignolet paws at it like a cat at the Christmas tree. He gets enough.

Former Wales striker John Hartson
BBC Radio 5 live sports extra at the Liberty Stadium
Quote:

"There's more pressure on Liverpool - they're pushing to get into the top four. They've got to come to this very tough place, with a terrific atmosphere. Swansea are a good footballing side. But I think this match is a very difficult one to call tonight. It's interesting to see how Liverpool have started. They're pressing Swansea high up the pitch, and you have to do that. You can't let Swansea play."
