![]() (Charlotte Reds OLSC Facebook Page) ...a few thoughts.... -Liverpool opens its' campaign against....Stoke City. Talk about the FA trolling us for wanting an extra away date in August; however, we should have a winnable home opener against Bournemouth to balance out the away opener -The rivalry of rivalries (i.e. Liverpool-Manchester United) comes early in both halves of the fixture list w/an away trip to Old Trafford on Sept. 12th and their return visit to Anfield on Jan. 16th -The Merseyside Derby sees Liverpool travel across Stanley Park to face our noisy neighbors on Oct. 3rd, while they get to visit us Feb. 27th -The worst month of the season for us appears to be October with an away trip to Everton and two trips to London (Spurs Oct. 17th, Chelsea on Halloween), plus a home fixture agst. Southampton in between -Not to be outdone, the stretch from February 27th-April 2nd includes Everton, Manchester City, and Chelsea all coming to Anfield, with trips to Crystal Palace, and Southampton. -January could also be a bit hairy, as we play Arsenal and Manchester United, both at home, but four days apart. As always, FA Cup action will be heating up at about this time as well. -However, our busy December schedule doesn't look so terrible. We're away to Newcastle, Watford, Sunderland, and West Ham, and home to West Bromwich Albion, and Leicester City. It could be much worse. |

Those four games in August for me are wins. We just need to keep getting players in who can do the job. |
