Craig Hignett, Former Middlesbrough and Blackburn midfielder on BBC Radio Merseyside: "It’s the business end of the season now so it doesn’t matter about performance as far as Liverpool are concerned. It’s all about results. Qualification for the Champions League in their own hands they’ve got a great chance. The run-in is quite kind to them as well. There isn’t a fixture they’ll be scared of." |

Jonathan Pearce, Match of the Day commentator: Liverpool can ill afford any slip-ups in the chase for a Champions League slot but West Brom can cause them real problems. It's understandable that the Baggies have stalled since passing the 40-point safety mark. Their tiny squad is exhausted. Tony Pulis has worked miracles and needs the reward of a treasure chest of summer transfer funds. This is also the sort of game to kick-start a new charge for a club record Premier League points haul. They are so strong in the air at set pieces. Liverpool can't defend them or keep clean sheets. I expect a draw. |

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis, speaking to Sky Sports: "Sometimes expectations go through the roof. But this group have done fantastic. If we can get to 50 points, it’ll be fantastic. If not, it will still have been a great season." Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, speaking to Sky Sports: "It’s a very important period of fixtures. There’s no time to waste, no points to waste. Be concentrated on your highest level and try to win. We all know what a difficult place West Brom is to play, but that’s why we are here." |

Craig Hignett, Former Middlesbrough and Blackburn midfielder on BBC Radio Merseyside: "Liverpool will have most of the possession. But if you give West Brom a set-piece with Chris Brunt’s left foot and he can put it anywhere. They’ve got players who can attack the ball, such as Gareth McAuley and Craig Dawson, and they will attack it well." |

West Brom 0-0 Liverpool --Sloppy start from Liverpool as a throw-in from Milner is put straight out of play by a team-mate in their own half. A long-throw from the Baggies prompts some panic around the box, which is ended when Matt Phillips has a shot deflected wide off another Baggies player. |

Craig Hignett, Former Middlesbrough and Blackburn midfielder on BBC Radio Merseyside: "Liverpool are going to have to move the ball really quickly. The quicker they can switch the play, the better, because there's going to be no space through the middle." |

West Brom 0-0 Liverpool --Matt Phillips was in fine form earlier in the season, before injury interrupted. He looks to get back in the swing of things with a curling shot from the edge of the box but gets it wrong and puts his effort well wide. |
