maybe a draw unsure1
I hope so; this is the other banana peel match I'd be worried about - especially w/today's Manchester Derby on the cards.

The mancs drew 0-0. Only a win will do. Take any won. A shitty win. A great performance win. Whatever. Only wins now if we want CL next season.

Agreed; that was the absolute worst result we could've seen from the Manchester Derby on Thursday; even if we win out our 4 matches remaining, they're close enough now that if they win out each of their 5 matches, we'll finish 5th.

Put simply, there is no room for error anymore.

Lovren new contract today. Maybe a solid defensive display tomorrow to show that the contract is worth it.

Oh come on looking for updates thinking we play today and we kick off tomorrow ;)

Feeling confident right now. Dont know why though, after the Palace game i was getting worried. Think we can win. Lovren owes us a hatrick after that new 100,000 grand contract.

*continues thought* Especially given that both Manchester clubs drew on Sunday - United to Swansea and City to Middlesbrough.

.....United being held by Swansea, and then City dropping points at Middlesbrough, were great results for the Reds.

....Liverpool are still third, but the games in hand have been eaten up. Win tonight, at Watford, and Jurgen Klopp's side will give their top-four chances a massive boost.

If only they could beat the teams below them...

(BBC News) Team news
Watford v Liverpool (20:00 BST)
--The team news is in - and there isn't much of it.

Watford make one change, Adrian Mariappa replaces Jose Holebas, as Liverpool are unchanged. The visitors do have both Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge on the bench though.

(BBC Sport) Top, top six
Watford v Liverpool (20:00 BST)
--Chelsea: won away, drew at home
Spurs: drew away, won at home
Man City: drew away, won at home
Man Utd: drew away, drew at home
Arsenal: won away, won at home

Liverpool are unbeaten against the rest of the top six this season, taking 20 points from a possible 30.

What do they do in these games that they don't do against the 'lesser' sides?

Is it a mental thing? Tactics?

(BBC Sport) What's the opposite of 'flat-track bully?'
Watford v Liverpool (20:00 BST)
--Yep, Liverpool are ace against the teams at the top.

But five of their six defeats this season have come against teams currently in the bottom half of the table: Palace, Leicester, Burnley, Hull and Swansea.

Another defeat tonight, and Jose Mourinho and his band of injured men may end up in the top four after all...
