Elemental magic: users of elemental magic often have the nickname elementals (if they show great skill in it and tend to stick with one or a few kinds of elemental magic), elementals at their best stop needing their wand and can be a deadly foe, using a wand just amps up their deadly powers, some elementals has found ways to focus magic via fighting moves rather then a wand (since a wand is nothing more then a focusing tool)
Vulcanomancy: Earth magic, specifically dealing with magma.
Ferromancy: Magnetics/electrics
Air Magic: air
Fire Magic: fire

Animate/Reanimation: magic that animates stuff like statues

Telekinesis: the name of the spells that lets you move things using magic
Teleportation: mugle name for any one of these Apparition: teleportation (carries risk of splinching).
Floo Network: fireplace travel.
Vanishing Cabinet: transporting from one cabinet to the other.
Portkey: touching an item and coming to a specific set place.

Alchemy: an old barch of magic, most do no longer use it
Chaos Magic: magic that deals with making chaos
Destruction Magic: magic that destroy stuff
Dowsing: the magical means of finding someone using something with deep connection to them
Druidic Magic: magic used by the druids
Illusion-Casting: magic that makes illusions
Life Magic: magic that deals with life
Mysticism: magic that deals with the mystics
Shamanism: magic used by shamans
Voodoo: a type of magic that was founded in Africa, currently not many wizards are using it and only schools in America even have classes teaching it
Craft Magic: magic that deals with crafting stuff
Art Magic: magic that deals with art
Bardic Magic: a branch of music magic, used by bards, only one family knows bardic magic anymore
Hexes: A hex is one of the seven known spell types. They are affiliated with Dark Magic, darker than a jinx but not as dark as a curse, and generally causes moderate suffering to the victim.
Jinxes: A Jinx is one of the seven known spell types, affiliated with dark magic and distinguished by their negative effects used mostly for the amusement of observers and the minor discomfort of the victim
Curses: A Curse is one of the seven known spell types and the worst kind of Dark Magic. Curses are used with the intention of causing harm, control, or even death to the victim.
Theurgy:
Conjuration: Conjuration is a branch of Transfiguration. Conjurations are distinguished from the other branches of transfiguration by their ability to transfigure the desired object from 'thin air'.
Addictive Magic: magic that is addictive to use, many dark spells is like that
Black Magic: other name of dark arts
White Magic: other name for healing and magic that counter black magic
Pink Magic: magic that deals with love and emotions
Time Magic: magic that deals with time, most time magic is been banned
Lost Magic: magic lost to time or have been made sure to be lost in time, bardic magic is counted as one even tho there is still a family who has info on it, Morts is known for making magic lost, even if they keep records and keep all the info they can on the magic they “loose”
Thread Magic: magic that deals with treads, ropes also count since they are more or less thick treads or made up of it, so is knitting and sowing
Smith Magic: magic that deals with smiting
Dance Magic: magic that deals with dancing
Carpentry Magic: magic that deals with carpeting
Cooking Magic: magic food making
Wild Magic: magic that is hard to tame
Academic Magic: easily tame able magic, usually learned in school to get hold of magic (ergo its name)
Healing Magic: magic that heals and cures things
Painting Magic: magic that deals with paintings
Pottery Magic: magic that deals with clay
Necromancy: Magic concerned with death and the dead. Necromancers could animate corpses, summon spectres, take information from the brain of a corpse, switch bodies, etc. The White Council forbids the use of necromancy with the Fifth Law of Magic.
Psychomancy: Magic concerned with the mind (mind control).
Thaumaturgy: The art of creating magical links between an object and a target. It is used in locating spells, voodoo dolls etc. It needs a part of the target to be successful, eg. blood, hair, etc.
Ectomancy: Magic concerned with ghosts.
Kinetomancy: Magic of energy and movement
Anthropomancy: The magical art of attempting to divine the future or gain information by reading human entrails.
Neuromancy: The magical art of mind reading.
Phonoturgy: Sound magic
Holomancy: The art of Invisibility magic
Verisimilomancy: The art of illusion magic
