As a forum with a majority of JRPG-loving nerds, surely most of us have a pokemon game tucked away somewhere.

In this topic, you can post the team you have on the most recent game you've played. Feel free to add what game it is, where you are, what challenge (if any) you're playing, and their names, moves, genders, abilities, descriptions, etc.

------

I'm playing a Pussylocke challenge of Pokemon BlazeBlack, an amazing hack of Pokemon Black.

For those that's not familiar with blaze black, it's a sort of 'hard mode' hack with very powerful opponents. It also has all 649 pokemon available for capture without trading, and most of the pokemon have awesome upgrades to their abilities, moves, stats or all 3. Its counterpart is Volt White.

As for the Pussylocke challenge, it's like Nuzlocke, only the rule is that you can only capture the 1st pokemon you encounter in a new route, you don't have to treat a faint as a death and release/box them.

My pokemon so far. I've defeated the Nacrene gym and just heading to the forest. Goddamn Lenora was hard >_<

Best team ever comin' through!

Just got to Ambrette Town, only 1 Badge so far

Yang(F, Adamant) Lv. 19 Absol
Theif
Pursuit
Taunt
Quick attack

Caught this thing the minute I saw it because awesome, instantly threw it on the team once I saw it's nature. Now it's all EV trained and takes out Onix with it's crazy high attack. Just need to level her up a bit to match the rest of my team, which shouldn't be hard.

Viewtiful Joe(M, Naughty) Lv. 24 Ledian
Mach Punch
Reflect
Light Screen
Baton Pass

Caught this entirely on a whim and named it as a joke, but with the exp share it just kinda started gaining levels like crazy and now it's got sweet dual screens and baton pass. Might not be a permanent member but he is proving quite a bit of fun.

BlueBerryJam (F, Adamant) Lv. 24 Azumarill
Aqua Tail
Return
Bubblebeam
Charm

Again, caught this on a whim because I found an azurill and it looked cute instead of sad and depressed like every other game. Turns out it had a perfect nature and ability, and already one-shots Fraxure with a resisted aqua tail. Currently EV training it to be a badass. Hopefully it'll learn a few more physcial moves soon.

Cherry (F, naughty) Lv. 22 Plusle
Spark
Encore
Quick attack
Thunder Wave

When people think "Strong electric type" they generally don't think Plusle. In fact the word Plusle and 'Useless pikachu expy' are often used in the same sentence. Cherry proves this sentiment wrong, with both surprisingly potent attack thanks to it's nature and great utility use with thunder wave and encore. Sure, she's ass competatively and is a shameless ripoff, but she's my shameless ripoff <3

Bullet (F, Quirky) Lv. 23 Pikachu
Thundershock
Quick attack
Nuzzle
Electro ball

Not even gonna lie, only reason I have this is cause it says it's name when you send it out, and I wanna see if Raichu does it too. I've never been the biggest fan of Pikachu but I love Raichu and Pichu for some unexplained reason so it kinda evens out. She's ok, pretty much served as my main electric type until Plusle started outshining her. Now I'm just waiting on that eventual thunder stone.

'MURRICA (M, Bashful) Lv. 23 Vivillion
Struggle Bug
Protect
Psybeam
Stun Spore

Named because of it's brilliantly red, white, and blue wing pattern, Vivillion started out as a stupid buck toothed bug to be evolved for the gimmick and immediatly discarded. It proved itself far more worthy however. With what is easily the highest speed and special attack stats on my entire team, Vivillion is as badass as it's namesake. It's my go-to mon for psychic, dark, and fighting types aswell as the rare horde battle. To show how much of an impact this things made, I even put it in my PR video, in all it's patriotic glory.

Well, I beat the champion. Unfortunately I'm not particularly proud of it because I had a ridiculously overpowered team since I didn't turn off the Exp. Share, because durr socialism, but the game was fun and pretty and I'm happy with it.

Refia (F) Lv.79 Delphox
@Rocky Helmet
- Calm Mind
- Flamethrower
- Psychic
- Will-O-Wisp

Damascus (M) Lv.72 Lucario
@Lucarionite
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
- Extremespeed

For most of the end game, Refia and Damascus were my "That's it, everyone dies" option. I tried using the others since these two carried most of the game for me.

Lamia (F) Lv.75 Florges
- Wish
- Petal Dance
- Moonblast
- Calm Mind

I've come to like the Fairy type thanks to her. Smashes Fighting, Dragon and Dark types to pieces.

Vulturo (M) Lv.72 Hawlucha
@Expert Belt
- Fly
- Swords Dance
- U-Turn
- High Jump Kick

Really happy with him. While High Jump Kick is risky most of the time, he was too busy OHKO'ing everything else to care.

Lanius (M) Lv.73 Garchomp
@King's Rock
- Swords Dance
- Crunch
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake

"Bitch I eat people!"

Amper (F) Lv.64 Raichu
- Nuzzle
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot
- Double Team

I gave her a break for most of the game because of the need for a constant HM slave (which was Linoone and/or Lapras), but since someone in the Elite 4 had a Gyarados as usual I needed a fast electric type to kill it quickly.

Now for the post game.

My thoughts on Pokemon X overall, I loved it. While I didn't use Super Training much, I adored the Amie function, and making sure most of my team were happy with me got me out of a few tricky situations.

The story... eh, I didn't think it was as good as B/W's to be honest. Still up there as one of the better ones of course. But the gameplay makes it brilliant. Finally transitioning to 3D models from sprites was my favourite bit.

Ok my final team was .

Talonlame (M) Lv. 68
@FlamePlate
-BraveBird
-Ember
-Flame Charge
-Acrobatics

This guy took down several gyms for me lol, and He wasted the champions' Hawlucha.

Floette (F) Lv. 66
@Eviolite
-Misty Terrain
-Petal Dance
-Moonblast
-Aromatherapy

obviously Drasna fell to this girl, and Petal Dance took out one of the champs pokemon.

Heliolisk (F) Lv. 69
@Amulet coin
-Surf
-Thunerbolt
-Parabolic Charge
-Bulldoze

Heliolisk was possibly my fav pokemon this gen. Surf- take that fire/ground types. A greatasset for 3 of the Elite Four. And This girl should of simply relied on her from the start against the champs Last Poke. Thunderbolt ate through about half its hp- this when Champ's lightscreen was in effect.

Olive (F) Lv. 68 Chesnaught
@ Leftovers
-Spiky Shield
-Hammer Arm
-Wood Hammer
-Rolloout

Olive my starter, I don't recall to what extent she got used during the E4, but I do remember the suicide run vs Tyranturm lol. Wood Hammer into a Head butt, But at least it got that dino dragon out of the way.

(Kazuki) (M) Lv.73 Diggersby
@whatever he wound up picking up lol
-Rock Smash
-Cut
-Strength
-Earthquake

This guy, I got via wonder trade, and well, He was my HM slave as you can probably tell. However He Rock Smashed stuff like Goodra without hesitation and really was only around to help me get through Victory road- he wasn't even Super Trained. I was just to lazy to pull something else out of the box.

Tentacruel (F) Lv41
-Acid
-Toxic Spikes
-Waterfall
-Wrap

I got her when she was around Lv 30, and Like Diggersby she was only with because I didn't feel like pulling anything else out- and I wanted to get the TM that required Waterfall to get to- however unlike Diggersby this Tentacruel never saw the light of battle.

Little late to the party but here's my hall of fame team. Levels are a bit higher than the actual victory thanks to a few post game battles but they're mostly the same.

Banchou(M, Adamant) Lv. 63 Pangoro
Payback
Dragon Claw
Hammer Arm
Parting Shot

I swear I was destined to have this pokemon, I went back to catch one of these for fun and could only find a female with a crap nature and the lesser ability because they're so damn rare. I decided to try and get a slightly better one to use and bred it with a spare bunnelby from wonder trade. I got a single egg, and the planets aligned as the RNG goddess graced me with an adamant iron fist Pancham. He was leveled post-haste and achieved near instant bro status as he began wrecking everything and anything he was put up against that wasn't fairy type. Easily one of my favorite pokes of the 6th gen.

Bubblegum(F, Rash) Lv. 65 Goodra
Dragon Pulse
Power Whip
Flamethrower
Outrage

Holy shit I love Goodra. I mean I thought Goomy was awesome and all but I never expected this much out of it when I started training one. She wasn't much at first, only barely able to hold her own when she evolved into a sliggo, but once she hit level 50 in the rain, it was like the flood gates had opened. Nothing could stop this badass bruiser. She could tank hits and dish them out tenfold, and was personally responsible for dealing the finishing blow against the champs final pokemon.

Slammer (M, Jolly) Lv. 60 Tauros
Return
Payback
Rock Slide
Zen Headbutt

Got lucky catching this one, it was the first one I saw, caught it on a whim and bam jolly nature. All EV trained up and now once he's started you'll quickly find there are no brakes on this rape train. Sadly I still haven't found a partner to name "Jammer"

Skittles (?, Bold) Lv. 60 Xerneas
MoonBlast
Geomancy
Megahorn
Horn Leech

Derpy overpowered box legendary for fairy type coverage. He put in some good work against the dragon leader in particular, and served as a bit of a tank a few times when I needed a quick heal. Definatly liking how he's turning out.

DaiGengar (M, Timid) Lv. 60 Gengar

Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Sludge Bomb
Destiny Bond

Got this because Gengar has always been an old favorite and I got a Gengarite early and thought "Why the fuck not?" He's a behemoth with killer special attack, although a little bit of a glass cannon, as he can't usually take more than one or two hits before he goes down. If he does go down though, there's a good chance he'll take something along for the ride thanks to destiny bond. He pretty much swept the whole water E4 team on his own.

Blue (M, Docile) Lv. 60 Blastoise
Hydro Pump
Ice Beam
Rapid Spin
Rain Dance

Gotta thank Santa for this one, he provided the squirtle which I breed to create this spiritual successor to the Bro-stoise heritage. Blastoise was and always will be my starter, and he once more stands in the hall of fame with a well earned victory. He may not have gotten as many kills as Pangoro or Goodra, but he pulled his weight just the same a played a cruicial part in my victory over the champ. Blastoise fo' Lyfe!
