Location Alvar Academy for Young Mages; Sefirah Date September 7th Time 13:00 hour
The day many juvenile mages across the realm had been waiting for finally arrived. The Alvar Academy had opened it's gates for all of it's students, both returning and new. Hugs and tears were exchanged as parents stood with their teens while they said their goodbyes before the students were escorted through the 70 ft crystal gates that surrounded the campus. It seemed that even some of the academy's own staff were moved by the precious moments exchanged between parents and their almost grown offspring. Students mingled amongst themselves making their introductions or those who have returned for their second and third years sharing the events of their summer.
"...It's so beautiful..." a young raven haired woman sniffled with her hands clasped together and her eyes shedding tears as her heart was moved. "It's like this every year...the beginning of the semester and graduation. I just....I just can't take it! Can you feel the love radiating around us, Veronica?" the woman asked whilst looking to her blonde companion. The blonde woman seemed less than amused by her friend's bleeding heart and merely closed her eyes and shook her head at the other's blubbering.
"I feel like this day needs to speed up. The orientation ceremony is always so draining...then next week is the festival....it's just going to be a long two weeks, Raina." the blonde woman opened her eyes once more as more students passed by her. Specifically a few males that seemed to earn a grunt of appreciation from her. "Though perhaps it won't be as bad as it's been playing out in my mind..."
"...They're students, Veronica." Raina's eyes narrowed. "Minors."
"I'm trying to figure out when the hell 16 and 17 year olds started getting built like that. Is there some new potion supplement that's been circling around on the drug scene?" Veronica pondered.
"I think it's called well balanced diet and exercise." Raina replied nonchalantly. "But I believe it is time for us to head to Galdr Hall. The Grand Master will be starting the ceremony soon."
"Very well. Let's get this day over with." Veronica nodded and walked the paved path from the gates towards the main entrance of the academy with Raina in tow. Meanwhile four shadowed figures stood upon the grand arches set before the school. Two human shaped, the other two no larger than puppies. A single ray of the sun's light partially revealed their appearance: two males; one sporting sparkling gold chest exposed armor, his left hand rested upon his hip. Next to him stood the other figure who was slightly taller, more red samurai-like attire, headband dancing in the wind while his arms were folded over his chest. At their feet were two small winged mammals. One rainbow colored with butterfly like wings and feathery moth-like antennae, the other possessed white shaggy fur with feathered wings and several horns protruding from it's head.
"Veronica Elwyn and Raina Oakley...two of Alvar's finest instructors...yet I cannot say I miss them." the gold clad warrior shook his head as his sight left the two teachers and looked down to his furred companions. "Falk...are they here?"
"They're close." the white furred creature responded and raised his muzzle to the air, taking in a strong whiff. "Very close. Though they're not the only ones here..." he growled lowly.
"I figured that." the young man responded with a small frown. "This day will prove to be a test for them then. But we still need to retrieve her. We will not stand a chance for what's ahead without her powers. Iris," he glanced down to the rainbow schemed creature to his left. "I will need you to make a trip to Earth."
"Not a problem. " Iris nodded. "I will not let you down, my lords." she spoke to both men before her fluttering wings picked her up from the arch and began to carry her into the distance, leaving a trail of sparkles in her wake.
"Way to be obvious, Iris." the gold clad male sighed scrubbing a hand over his face. "Until she gets back, we just play the waiting game. " his lips curled into a small smirk as his might went to thinking of a certain gloomy prince of darkness who would be making his appearance here under his instruction. "Soon, my friend your destiny will become clear."
"...You're thinking of another guy and smirking." Falk said rather bluntly as he looked up to the other male clad in red and white. "Are you okay with this?"
"...Shut up, Falk." the male in gold sweat dropped.
Location Portland, Maine Date September 7th Time 12 am
"SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS!"
The crowd cheered through the pulsing music blaring through the speakers. The youth of Portland High School had gathered for their last party of the summer before the new school year. The drinks were poured and small glasses of tequila were passed out amongst the those in attendance. They were immediately knocked back and hands reached for more. The foam and bubbles poured from the machine onto the party hostess' pool deck leaving all in it's wake covered in suds. They didn't seem to care as they continued to dance, high on life....some high on other things.
"Like, Gretchen throws the most rad parties ever! This totally rocks!" said a black haired girl. Her name was Bianca Christensen, also known as the Party Rat as she was seen at every party thrown in by the student body and even some college kids despite not really knowing them. She was about 3 beers and 4 tequila shots into the night and showed no signs of stopping soon.
"Lucille! Like, get over the mopey attitude! Clean up your grump and have another drink! You've been nursing that Vodka and Cranberry for the last hour! Seriously!" she shouted to the blonde girl posted against the wall next to her with a red plastic cup in hand. Her hair was tied back into twin pigtails held in place by black and purple bands. Silver crescent moons dangled from the lobes of her ears and her attire for the evening consisted of a simple black halter top dress with a pink cardigan sweater and a pair of black heeled sandals.
"O-M-G. Okay, like so what if you came here with Austin and Gretchen totally kidnapped and took him to her room and they haven't been seen for the past 2 hours. Like, get over it. There are plenty of other guys here!" Bianca laughed.
"..." Lucille shot a side glance to Bianca. "Aside from the fact that Austin and I have been dating for the past 3 weeks? Forgive me if I'm a bit miffed!" the blonde shouted. "Stupid Gretchen and her big fancy house, candy red mercedes, fat checking account, perfect tanned skinned and sculpted body..."
"Don't forget flawless hair like silk..." Bianca added.
"Not helping!" Lucille threw her cup to the ground, spilling it's contents.
"O-M-G! What is wrong with you!? That was a good vodka and cranberry! You criminal!" Bianca screamed.
"Whatever." Lucille sighed stepping over the mess. "It's 12 am....I'm heading home. I have to....keep looking for the college I want to attend. You know, sophomore year, it's time to get cracking on that stuff."
"...You're just going to go home, lock your doors, turn down all the lights and watch Magic Mike." Bianca responded with a smirk. "Then you'll get depressed over Austin, cry and then eat whatever you have left of the tub of Oreo ice cream you have in your freezer."
"....You don't know me!" Lucille pointed to the other girl as her expression expressed hurt. Yes, it seemed Bianca knew her far too well and she did not appreciate being read like she had been. "Enjoy the party." were her final words before storming off from the pool deck...but not before grabbing a doughnut for the road from the table of party food that had been set up.
Lucille stormed through the pint sized mansion that was Gretchen Johnson's home and exited through the front door. Only half the doughnut remained as she shuffled through the front lawn. Before the final bite could be taken, the blonde found herself eating green as she tripped over a sprinkler and fell face forward into the grass.
"...damn it, even her grass is perfect!" she thought while finding it irresistible to not nuzzle her face against the softness of the lawn. After a few moments she finally rolled over onto her back and released a soft sigh as she started up into the night sky. Viewing the moon and the stars. They were so gorgeous that night and it would have been romantic to view them with Austin....if he hadn't been taken by Gretchen.
"...huh?" Lucille's eyes squinted as she could see an intense shine of bright light in the distance. Perhaps it was an airplane? Though it seemed too eerie for that to be the case. Her eyes closed for another moment before opening them again.
"..." Her body stiffened as her eyes were now locked with rainbow furred creature. The very same from before. It's butterfly wings fluttering to keep it hovered above the girl. While the creature wore an expression of gentleness, Lucille's face was frozen with wide-eyed terror. "Oh god....they spiked the punch. I knew someone would. I shouldn't have had any!" she whined. "I'm tripping balls....seeing mutated Care Bears..."
"Actually...I'm not a Care Bear. I'm a Ku-Sith and my name is Iris!" the creature's smiled widened as it chuckled. "I've come for you, Lucille."
"...And...you talk? Oh man, my brain is going to be swiss cheese by the time whatever was in that punch wears off...." the blonde whined.
(( OOC: Loooong post but needed to set up. Yes, Avalon's time is basically military time and it's 12 hours ahead of the EST Timezone, woo.
Alright, so it's orientation weekend at the Academy, so everyone should be arriving on campus which is huge. It's easily about 5 miles in diameter. In front of the main entrance through the gates is the main courtyard complete with a large sparkling white water fountain.
Feel free to have your characters meet each other or make up some NPC students to mingle with since this is a school setting and classmates are kind of important to have. Your characters could have probably even noticed and grew suspicious of Iris' sparkling trail left in the sky as she ventured through a portal to Earth.
Kuno, feel free to have Wanda do her thing and creep on the kiddies and festivities. ))

"Your failures and sins of the past have nothing to do with the present, dark Prince!"
"SIN?" Azhrarn roared to the Ku-Sith. "It's a SIN for someone on Annwyn to LOVE someone from Gwynwydd?" He questioned the beast as the cape of darkness flapped and warped on his back. The imp getting pretty much ignored as the young man disappeared into another black cloud, reappearing close to the fairy beast.
"If you wish to do justice to Dunizhel's memory, you will embrace your calling and protect both Lucille and this universe."
"You have no right to speak HER name if you dare to say ours was a Sin..." Alright, the approach wasn't the more conventional of them all. He had played with her feelings a little, but he really meant it when he asked her to marry him. Their love was something between just the two of them, nothing for the nosy beast to butt in.
"You took this girl away from her world..." Azzie said as he stabbed his sword on the ground, tempted to grab Lucille by the neck and raise her to her feets. He actually did it but holding on the fabric of her top. "...she believes this is all of a Dream. She isn't going to care, as long she believes so..."
"You're only ssssstalling the inevitable! I will not dissssappoint my missstress!"
He turned his face to the Lamia. "SEAL YOUR LIPS, YOU UNGRACEFUL HARLOT!" He roared once more, a lot of anger to steam off, something like years of repressed suffering surfacing from the words of the Fairy critter. "Dont want to disappoint your mistress? Then turn your back, return to the brothel where you hired these scum with the change from the price of your more than lacking performances and buy her a nice birthday gift..."
He turned to look at Lucille, his traits hardeing. "Listen well, if you can at all..." He started. "I'm not going to protect you, as much as you remind of her. You call this a dream, you took this lightly." He helped her to sit on a chair with more attentions than his words would suggest. "If the fate of this universe resides on someone that doesn't even believes in it, it's a worthless cause."
He turned to look at the imp. "Dunizhel loved your kin, she always wanted to see one..." He said bitterly. "...at least she got spared the disappointment." He once more disappeared, returning to the battlefield.

"... Are you for real? Where I come from, what you just said would basically translate as 'I don't have to worry about modesty because I know I'm sexy', is that right? ... Wait, did you just say your figure is about ideal for whatever your planet considers beautiful and desirable? Still sounds conceited to me."
"With quantitative guidelines for beauty, there is no need for false modesty, as such only serves to obscure the actual facts of the matter." Faroosa flipped her hair to a side in an almost unconscious act as she spoke. "It is the interpretation of those fact that can lead to judgemental biases, which is of no concern to me save where they impinge on proper scientific inquiry." She then watched as Tokio effectively surrounded the Imp with a cage of vines.
"So, Faroosa, you can make wooden tables explode into spikes... But what about these vines?"
Faroosa smiled. The Imp's eyes widened, and it frantically flung a fireball at the cage, aiming to incinerate it before-
A swipe of the brush, and smaller spikes sprouted out in all directions from the encirclement of vines - turning the enclosure into a simulacrum of a porcupine. A strangled scream and the sounds of tearing flesh could be heard.
"It appears that I need better control over directional trust when it comes to narrow cylindrical surfaces," the Rune Witch noted.

"With quantitative guidelines for beauty, there is no need for false modesty, as such only serves to obscure the actual facts of the matter."
Did... She just swish her hair as she said that> Wasn't that a stereotypical thing snobbish girls who stared at themselves in the mirror did when they needed reassurance that they were good-looking? He had half a mind to call her out on it, but the realization that she would go into another unneeded rant thankfully help him back from propping his mouth open with his proverbial foot.
"It is the interpretation of those fact that can lead to judgemental biases, which is of no concern to me save where they impinge on proper scientific inquiry."
"Though there is such a notion that some girls need reassurance they look good from those they like... I can only imagine how often dad had to bite the bullet and give compliments to mom when she was carrying me around. I've seen ladies carry kids around... They get pretty round..." he muttered. It must have been rather painful for his dad. "That aside... On your planet your figure might be killer, but from where I come from, people might think you're... Uh..." he stopped, trying to find the right word for it. "... Easy."
For now, however, the rest of their focus went to the Imp as it attempted to free itself from it's vine prison. What happened next, however, would have put a smile on his aunt's face so big the Kool-Aid Man would have been replaced. The entire mass of vines looked like a bramble bush, with flecks of red slowly dripping down while the remainder was absorbed by the vines itself. "... Brutal. Juuuust brutal." he smirked.
"It appears that I need better control over directional trust when it comes to narrow cylindrical surfaces,"
"Well, we've got all year to figure that one out. I didn't think it was too possible since you were only using solid wood, but your power really can apply to other aspects of nature... Hm..." he trailed off, eyeing the girl for a moment, before he looked away. She would be a good source of testing his power on, given her own mastery over the element. She could put up a great challenge for him, maybe even turn his own abilities against him.
"Heheh... This will be most fun..." he grinned, now anticipating the school year more than ever. He had potentially found a sparring partner, one who could easily weather his nature attacks, which he felt he still needed some guidance over, as opposed to the dark aspect he possessed and felt proficient in.
===
"...How cute. Your little outfit ssssswitch isssssn't going to sssssave you, boy! Rune Mages are making a reemergence? Well, then I'll be greatly rewarded. I'm going to enjoy slaughtering you as I did your comrades on Caelestra!"
"I don't know about this Caelestra place, but if you plan to have a field day killing us, than i'm going to have to go out of my way to make sure you don't get your way, lady!" Adamah growled, as she wrenched her tail forward, before he raised his left arm. "Gravity Territory!" he announced, as a purple field of energy surrounded him, allowing the tail to crash against it with minimal effort. However, just using the field, he could feel his energy depleting faster than normal, especially when he blocked an attack.
However, things got more dire when the Lamia turned her attention to the Ku-Sith... As well as Lucille near it.
"...One of them issss....ssssstill unawakened! She will be the first to go!"
"No!" Adamah shouted, lowering the field and preparing to try and intercept the Lamia. However, the moment he extended his arm out to prepare a gravity attack, one of the snakes she launched at him latched onto his arm and immediately bit it. The effect was near-instant, with stone beginning to slowly spread out from the point of the bite, making his eyes widen. "L-like the Headmaster... Damn it, not now...!" he growled, avoiding the other, before he grasped the head of the snake with his other hand and crushed it. Wrenching the body off, he let his slowly-petrifying left arm hang while he grit his teeth.
"I wasn't done yet... Crag Fang!" he announced, stomping the ground with one foot while generating gravity with his only good arm now. In response, a series of earthen spires began to launch up, steadily moving towards the Lamia and attempting to gore her.

"There is no need for external affirmation of subjective feelings, especially for potential sources of bias such as those with a predisposed emotional inclination. And naturally pregnancy has the effect of enlarging the lower section of the torso, since-"
Faroosa proceeded to give a detailed description of the process of fetus development and pregnancy. To spare both the reader and the author their sanity (and preserve a PG rating), this has been left implied rather than stated. Not that it is of any consolation to the characters subject to such a description.
"Well, we've got all year to figure that one out. I didn't think it was too possible since you were only using solid wood, but your power really can apply to other aspects of nature... Hm... Heheh... This will be most fun..."
"My preliminary surmise is anything of or relating to wood qualifies, but additional experiments are required." The girl cast her gaze towards the Lamia, and her eyes narrowed slightly. "There is a more temperamental and dangerous experimental subject available. Are you in possession of a reflective surface? In many legends such surfaces serve an effective foil against petrification."

One second, they were sitting there like a normal batch of school kids. It was loud, but ultimately, it wasn't that unbearable. As all seemed normal and a typical day in the school yard, something suddenly changed.
There was an explosion. A number of imp-like creatures swarmed in, and within seconds, the entire school was in cafeteria chaos. Adri was among the mass that didn't understand what was going on, and trying to find cover.
She had ducked behind one of the flipped-over tables in the room. She was trying to get a grasp on what was going on around her--it was so unexpected. The girl drew in a breath, before looking out past the table.
It was a sight of pure horror. Everyone had been panicking, some had even been... dying. What the hell was this? Adri had never seen anything like this before... Sure, she'd heard stories, but to actually see it in real life.
"Okay, Adri, stay calm," the girl told herself in thought. All she had to do was remain calm. A calm mind always handled these situations better...
A whirl of fire blew over the top of the table she was hiding behind. The girl instinctively released a small yelp of surprise, her hands grabbing onto the side of her head.
"Well, particularly her, him, him, her, him and her."
Adri had barely registered the sound of one of those Ku-Sith speaking... pointing her out? But why? And the fact the creature had literally pointed all of them out as walking targets. Great.
The Ku-Sith seemed to have more to say, things about awakening Rune Mages. Rune Mages... that was a term she wasn't entirely familiar with. She wanted answers to what was going on, but more importantly, she wanted a way to defend herself.
A silver beam of light made its way over towards Adri in a split second. The girl's eyes widened as she could see the beam headed right for her. What was it...? Her eyes closed tightly, and she felt a warmth awaken in her forehead.
Adri's arms suddenly crossed over one-another, hands pressing against her shoulders. Her form seemed to glow a cobalt-blue in color, before her clothing tore away. Behind her, a metallic sheet had appeared, before it moved forward, surrounding Adri. Pieces of the metal began to fall away, leaving an outfit around the girl, which had not been there before. The outfit seemed somewhat knightly, and she had silver armor around her chest and shoulders, as well as a collar around her neck. A metal-plated skirt appeared, a black one beneath that, and a pair of thigh-high black stockings, complete with metal boots. Gloves of a similar design also lined her hands.
Her hair had been tied back, retaining its same, black color. Her eyes opened, revealing more of a cobalt-blue hue to them. A purple-blue cape had also formed at her back. "Metal is mine to control, and with it, I will crush you. I am Rune-Cobalt!"
As the light around her seemed to fade away, Adri came to once again. She stared, in complete bewilderment. She had just... transformed? "What in the..." the girl was cut off as she could see a small, gun-metal gray ball circling around her. The ball paused before her, not much bigger than a fist for now.
The girl knew immediately what it was made of. "Elynis Metal..." she muttered, reaching out to it. She hadn't quite seen a sphere like this before, however. Her hand outstretched, before the ball fell into it. It suddenly expanded around five times the size it was, now rivaling a-bit bigger than an adult's head in size.
Was this... her way to fight back?
Looking over to the nearest imp, she could see the one known as Azhrarn contending with one of the imps that had broken free. "So how do I use this thing, anyway...?" Adri wondered, glancing down at the ball.
Well, there was one logical way of going about it. How did a person use a steel ball that could float?
Throw it.
Adri did just that, winding up, before releasing the ball. She almost squeaked at the sudden increase of power she didn't realize she had. The ball soared forward with unrelenting force, and at a high speed. It struck the Imp in the side, throwing it away from Azhrarn.
Adri joined the man's side, seeing that his clothing and minor appearances had changed as well. She could see a strange, medusa-like creature that was attacking that blue-haired boy from earlier... That thing, whatever it was, looked strong.
"Let's take care of this imp, then go help Adamah." Adri spoke, calmly. She tried her best to keep herself composed, despite the insanity that was going on around her. The Elynis Construct returned to her hand, floating, waiting for its next command. The imp pulled itself up, cringing from the strong orb that had stricken him.
((OOC: I changed her Rune Name, hope that's okay... I'll fix it in the profile a bit later xD))

"Let's take care of this imp, then go help Adamah."
"I definetely agree..." Azhrarn said, apparently having regained his composture. "...by the way, I thought Cobalt was a precious stone, your..." He tried to find a better word for it. "...catchphrase sounds a little weird if you say you control metal and name yourself after a stone..." He stopped, looking at the imp. "By the way, do you think I need one as well? I mean, isn't time consuming?"
The Rune-knight shook his head, it wasn't the time for such questions. "Oh well, prepare your best hit..." He said to the witch next to him, as he gracefully extended his right arm toward the Imp, the palm toward the sky as he was going to invite the creature to a dance. "Go..." He just whispered.
His cape of darkness flapped under the gentle touch of invisible winds, breaking into many black bubbles that turned into a flock of Ravens, the birds flying toward the devilish creature, hitting with their peeks, flapping their wings against the creatures, scratching its flesh with their tiny claws. Nothing really dangerous for the little devil, but defintely distracting.
He turned to Adri, tilting his head. "Now would be a nice occasion for you to strike..." He invited her gently.

"It's a SIN for someone on Annwyn to LOVE someone from Gwynwydd?"
"...No. Jeez, chill out..." Iris sweatdropped. Okay, so mentioning his deceased princess was a trigger. She made a note of it. Though she had to defend her choice in bringing Lucille to Avalon. "...What are yo-"!
"You took this girl away from her world...she believes this is all of a Dream. She isn't going to care, as long she believes so..."
The fairy beast watched the Rune Knight lift Lucille and exchanged words to her.
"Listen well, if you can at all..I'm not going to protect you, as much as you remind of her. You call this a dream, you took this lightly, If the fate of this universe resides on someone that doesn't even believes in it, it's a worthless cause."
"...It's real...?" Lucille whispered. Her eyes became focused once more, viewing her supposed comrades engaged in battle. They followed Azhrarn as he gave harsh words to the snake woman before taking his leave to resume combat with one of the Imps.
The Lamia didn't take to kindly to his insults, though she continued to hammer at the barrier. Lucille curling away in fear, getting way too close of a look at the monster. Suddenly, a rock crag arose from the earth and embedded itself within the side of the snake woman's tail courtesy of Adamah.
"HOW DARE YOU!?" the lamia demanded before letting our a ear piercing scream as she pulled herself from the crag. Her hand swept across her fresh wound, blood now staining her fingers and claws. "You bastardsss...you..." her eyes turned to Adamah just in time to see him get bitten by a snake. Satisfactory crossed her mind upon seeing the bite begin to petrify his arm. "Oh you'll pay..." her tail smashed through the spikes of rock tailed between her and the blue haired young man and the rattled tip slipping around his ankle. "You'll pay with your life. I'll bathe in your blood..." she dragged his body towards him and held the Earth mage upside down by his ankle. She raised her claws in preparation to gouge his abdomen.
"Adamah..." Lucille whimpered. "Oh, no...he's going to die...he saved me...." the blonde whispered wrapping her arms around herself.
"You can save them...help them." Iris said resting a paw upon her knee. "Accept this reality, your gifts..." the very beam that had awakened the others emitted from the KuSith's antennae and struck the symbol upon Lucille's head. The girl jerked, writhing in her spot as her hands grasped the sides of her head.
"Stop fighting it!" Iris shouted. "Become what you we're meant to be! Embrace the power within you...it's time for your metamorphosis. Transform!"
"...Drop him, you scaly bitch!" Lucille demanded as she stood to her feet. "Who the hell do you think you are storming in here and trashing this place! You think you're so bad, well let's just see how bad..." the blonde began to raise her hand. "MOON PRIS-"
"Don't. You dare." Iris ordered with narrow eyes.
"...Transform!" the blonde shouted as her hand as emitted a bright gold light. Her civilian attire dissolved leaving the glowing outline of her body. The sun appearing behind shined it's rays upon her, which transformed into translucent gold ribbons that wrap around her figure to form her witch outfit. The sun descended and was replaced by a full moon in the night sky as stars began to fall from the sky to form the jewels encrusted in her outfit, as well as her accessories/jewelry. Feathers swirled through the air as the wings of her outfit materialized while the ends of her golden blonde hair took on a pink hue. "Shining force of Beauty & Life..." her arms crossed upon her person opened as a wave of blinding light and feathers rushed through the hall.
"Damn it! You basssstardssss and your flashy wardrobe changessss!" the lamia hissed raising an arm to shield her eyes, while her tail's rip on Adamah loosened which dropped the blue haired teen to the ground.
"Embrace your judgement by heaven's heart..." she spoke as the light dimmed revealing her transformed state. An ethereal glow emitted around her person as her hands were locked together in prayer position and her eyes remained closed.
"Rune Witch of the Heavens and defender of Love and Life...I...am Rune Akasha..."
"Oh yeah!" Iris flew into the air. "I did it! I really found her!"
"Ugh, theresssss way too many of you...I hope you've enjoyed your livessss, they will be short lived..." the snake woman chuckled as her eyes turned completely black and her voice doubling with demonic undertone. Her stomach rising, to that akin to a pregnant woman before her jaw unhinged. Moments later, about 50 rattle snakes were expelled from her mouth, slithering upon the floor in a mix of mucus and saliva.
"...something tells me I shouldn't open my eyes just yet..." Lucille thought to herself as she held her prayed position.
Their tails rattling and eyes lowing red. Their tongues flickered to get a taste of the air and her hungered for the new mages. "GO!" she bellowed. On command, the snakes had begun to scatterer towards the teens.
((OOC: Imps can die now, kill them off and start you focus your attention on the rattle snakes. As poor Adamah found out, if they bite you, the venom will turn your limb to stone. They're relatively easy to kill though. It's just their number that'll be the problem. ))

"I definitely agree... by the way, I thought Cobalt was a precious stone, you... catchphrase sounds a little weird if you say you control metal and name yourself after a stone..."
Adri scowled in the direction of Azhrarn, before scoffing. "Cobalt is a metal," she insisted, flatly. "I'll be happy to prove it to you after this battle." she turned back towards their impish foe, and Azhrarn dove right in.
"Now would be a nice occasion for you to strike..."
Adri glanced birefly at Azhrarn, before deciding he was right. He had left her an opening, and she was going to take it. Adri allowed the Elynis Construct float upward, and suspend itself behind her. The girl moved her hand forward, ordering the weapon to strike.
The construct suddenly split into a large amount of minuscule bullets. They shot forward at a high speed, striking the Imp relentlessly. The beast staggered with every hit, before it fell to the ground with a screech. Its body twisted, and began to dissolve before them.
Adri found herself completely bewildered by the events, and had so much to figure out just yet... especially what this weapon of hers could do. Her eyes moved around their battlefield, before setting on that familiar blue haired guy.
Behind him, it seemed that that ditzy girl was also transforming like them. Just how many more of these Rune Mages were there going to be...? Adri's eyes locked onto the Lamia, and even she cringed at what the beast had done, birthing a number of snakes from her mouth.
"Disgusting," the girl muttered, under her breath, before the snakes set themselves on Adamah.
He was in trouble... "Let's go," she said to Azhrarn, before tearing off herself. As she ran, setting sights on the numerous snakes that had broken free, Adri held her hand out. The Construct circled around it, before taking a new shape.
A large mallet.
Adri swung the hammer down relentlessly, crushing a handful of the snakes in one, ground-shattering blow. The weapon proved surprisingly light, despite its size, though it was still moderately hard for her to wield.
"...I'm going to need some practice with this..." the girl thought in annoyance.
Adri hiked up the weapon again, before swinging it down at the snakes a second time, crushing a couple more of them. They had, predictably, started spreading out as a result. Adri jumped back, going on the defensive. At least she could try to draw some enemies away to give Adamah a way to counter.

"I'll be happy to prove it to you after this battle."
"No need to prove it as I trust you on that, Lady Cobalt..." To be honest he used her Rune name just because he didn't remembered the one she had given.
The Dark Prince didn't really felt bad for the shotgunned Imp and he simply shrugged at the disposal of one enemy, more concerned about the appearance of the newly transformed Lucille.
"Rune Witch of the Heavens and defender of Love and Life...I...am Rune Akasha..."
"And with my whole heart, I hate you..." He muttered before returning to the matters at hand.
"Disgusting."
"Let's go."
She was right on both, as the girl dashed forward he was next to her at augmented speed as well. "How wide you can spread your pellets attack?" He questioned before moving his hand ahead of himself, the flock of crows dispersing and going to attack the single snakes.
They weren't strong enough to actually kill the reptiles, they were good enough to keep them at distance enough for Adri to multiple barrage them. "These birds are so useful, feel free to hit them as well anyway, they're not really alive..." He said as he cleaved in half one of the fews that managed to pass through the flock.

"HOW DARE YOU!? You bastardsss...you..."
"Consider that the beginning of my payback for what happened on Horologia." Adamah remarked, as the petrification rose up just a little bit more, killing his ability to bend his arm now. Things got more dire, however, as the snake woman retaliated and smashed her tail through the crags he generated and snared his ankle, before yanking him down to the ground and toward him.
"Oh you'll pay... You'll pay with your life. I'll bathe in your blood..."
"Hah... I'm not a big fan of bloodplay, i'm afraid, and even if I was... I don't like domineering snake women." Adamah uttered in defiance, even as he hung upside down, both human and serpentine woman glaring at one another. The latter readied a deathblow to rip him apart, while he pulled his good fist back. "Give me one more good reason to mess that scaly face up..." he finished, even though he felt a feeling of fear, knowing that he was about to die right then and there. The only thing that gave him courage was the fact that he was going to die giving her one last, giant 'Fuck You' before he did.
"...Drop him, you scaly bitch! Who the hell do you think you are storming in here and trashing this place! You think you're so bad, well let's just see how bad..."
That voice... Adamah's eyes glanced over at the source, before he smiled. Lucille had gotten to her feet... And was now antagonizing the serpent. Once he was dropped, he turned his stoned limb away from prying eye, before he began to push himself up. Now, it was Lucille's turn to undergo transformation... And what a transformation it was. The boy found himself awestruck at how serene it appeared to be, the appearance the girl had taken on was nothing short of stunning. Like him, the transformation sequence seemed to keep the beast at bay so nothing could interrupt it. Unlike Lucille, however, that didn't spare him from the next sight from their foe.
"Ugh, theresssss way too many of you...I hope you've enjoyed your livessss, they will be short lived..."
The snake woman's voice suddenly began to change slightly... Before her stomach began to expand outward. Adamah scratched the back of his head at this occurance, speaking words he would come to regret a moment later: "Where's the fun in that?"
There was no fun to be had, however, as the Lamia all but vomited a large quantity of the same snakes she launched at him, actually making him slightly sick to his stomach. The momentary distraction had given all of them enough time to choose their targets... A number of which began to advance on him, keen on petrifying the rest of his body. Fortunately, the girl named Adri, now in her very own transformed state, swooped in to assist by crushing and dispersing a good number of the critters heading his way. She had the appearance of a knight, albeit a little bit more revealing. Nevertheless, he was happy for the assist.
"You have my thanks!" he called out to Adri, before he raised his good arm and focused on a specific are, holding about 6 snakes within it. "Step Restrict!" he announced, his hand pulsing with purple energy. Immediately, a glyph traced itself over the ground the snakes slithered over, before the creatures were rendered helpless by it, gravity weighing them down and nulling their body's ability to move. "That should make it a bit easier..." he mused, before he followed up with a Crag Fang attack, striking within the field and impaling the snakes.

"There is no need for external affirmation of subjective feelings, especially for potential sources of bias such as those with a predisposed emotional inclination. And naturally pregnancy has the effect of enlarging the lower section of the torso, since-"
"For once, I actually agree with you. I don't really know why women need some sort-of fake 'Oh, you look lovely' even when they don't. They need thicker skin or something." Tokio muttered. Clearly he didn't understand the feelings of women at all. What followed next, however, slowly made Tokio go from 'Uh, what?' to 'Why are you telling me all of this.'... To 'I really didn't need to know any of that right now...'. Needless to say, the boy glared at Faroosa with mild annoyance as she continued to drone on and on.
"You know, I didn't need to hear all about the process mom and dad used to make me, or any of the possible freaky things they could have done in that process. Most importantly, I did NOT need to know how many uses there were for..." he trailed off, unable to finish the sentence as he looked down, before shaking his head furiously. "For a smart person... You're a closet freak." he added, before looking towards the Lamia, who was now starting to get a little out of hand with the reinforcements. "... Why did you have to tell me that whole pregnancy deal again? Bad enough I had to hear it, I didn't need to see it..." he grumbled.
"There is a more temperamental and dangerous experimental subject available. Are you in possession of a reflective surface? In many legends such surfaces serve an effective foil against petrification."
"So you know about the whole Medusa deal too... Unfortunately, I don't have any reflective surfaces. Besides, I don't particularly care for a scaley freak like this... Nor do I think she has any plans on letting herself be captured. More importantly..." he spoke, eyeing the snakes moving towards him and Faroosa, prompting him to open his fan. Almost immediately, cherry blossoms began to manifest around him, swirling in preparation for combat. "We've got other things to worry about."
With that, he swiped the fan forward, his Bloody Blossom attack flowing out to attempt to cut through a few of the creatures. Though he decapitated two so far, the others grew wise to the attack and began to disperse, attempting to surround the pair of them. He was just as quick to adapt, however, beginning to cut apart chairs and tables around them, scattering the pieces as a makeshift barrier... or so they would be, once...
"You're up." he spoke to Faroosa.
