Plot:
The Navarne Region has never been a peaceful land. Its territory straddling two continents along the Keira Isthmus, warring humans and pokemon did battle there for thousands of years as tyrants rose and fell. For that reason, the citizens of this land remain tough and proud of their history. In fact, legend has it that Navarne is cursed, for every single nation that raised arms against it, always ceased to exist. Except of course for the Navarne people.
Probably due to this, the region has had peace reign for two hundred years. During that time, the industrial revolution came and went and technology advanced at such a fast rate that there was always a fat guy in every town marvelling at it. Primitive apricorns, which had been used for centuries as a way for humans to catch and harness the power of pokemon, became more and more advanced so that more people could train the wide variety of monsters in this region. Even children, which was normally quite risky, but they were born tough in Navarne and despite the odd mauling, most were happy to have the chance to have friends and protectors for life.
The worst part of long peace, however, is complacency. With the Navarne region more powerful than ever with its leaders controlling pokemon strong enough to level armies, and surrounding regions nowhere near strong enough to challenge it, it seems this peace will last for many years to come. Yet while the people get on with their lives, there is muttering among the lines of power that the next threat to Navarne may come from the inside. Yet the only things that can beat the leaders are Legendary pokemon, which humankind traditionally leave well alone so they keep to their own business. But the region's highly regarded Professors agree that there could be something else that could be equal in power to the Legendary ones, a further evolution.
With organized crime rates increasing in major areas, their ranks swelling with young people wanting power, those in charge agree that something is happening. And they charge the professors with the task of finding out about this hidden evolution before it's too late.
Setting:
The Navarne region is set at a technology from about the 1910's-1920's. Cars exist, telephones exist, radios exist, but are generally only available to the rich. Most of the heavy work is done by pokemon. Other transport include trains and ships.
Due to the early levels of pokeball technology, capturing pokemon is not easy. Pokeballs are expensive, and are normally not able to capture pokemon unless they express the will to be caught, as they are delicate and can be broken easily by even weakened pokemon. For this reason, not everyone can be a pokemon trainer, and even then most people only have 1 or 2. Only very skilled trainers are able to catch 3 or more.
Also, the pokemon in this region are even more tough than the humans. Wild ones can be dangerous and unpredictable and will wreck your shit if you mess with them. Luckily for humans, pokemon don't like eating people and generally avoid trouble, but some pokemon are nasty enough to do so.
Our characters will begin in Callisto Town.
Notes:
- For this RP, we'll only have teams of 3 maximum. If it feels right, we can have more. We'll catch them early on.
- Gym leaders have been replaced with Town Leaders, which are strong trainers that act as mayor figures for each major city. The Elite 4 are now Region Leaders, which act as overseers of each of the 4 subregions of Navarne. Lastly the Champion acts as a head of state for the whole Navarne region, respected as the most powerful trainer. Rather than fighting them, our aim will be to work with the Town and Region leaders to deal with threats.
- Children in Navarne attend school from ages 5-14. There they get educated about the basics of education as well as the world of pokemon, learning about the warnings and how to raise pokemon of their own if they have them.
Rules:
1. This RP is PG-13 at best. There will be violence and stuff, but not too excessive. 2. Please post at a steady rate. If you can't, please let me know. 3. Be nice to each other, although I'm pretty sure that shouldn't be a problem.

Name: Randyll Gregory Age: 15 Gender: Male Appearance: Somewhat like this. Randyll is about 5'4" and has green eyes and blonde hair. He usually wears an eyepatch due to a wound.
Personality: Randyll is friendly and curious person, but is never reckless and is often cautious, due to being badly injured as a child for foolishness around wild pokemon. He has a helpful nature and likes doing favours for people.
History: Randyll was born on the mainland in Lyre City, but his parents moved to Callisto Town when he was 3. Both of his parents were retired soldier-trainers, who trained their pokemon for warfare, but thankfully were never used for that and once Randyll was born, they quit and started a new life. Both used Fire types, his mother had an Arcanine and his father had a Typhlosion. One day his mother's Arcanine fell pregnant and had a litter of Growlithe pups. One of these took a liking to Randyll and even though he was only 5 at the time, his parents let him have the Growlithe as his starter. Randyll named him Ark and the two became inseparable friends.
When he was 7, Randyll was playing around with friends outside of town. There they found a wild Cubone, and they came up with the idea to catch it and one of them could have it as their companion. And so one of them ran off back to town to get a pokeball, while the rest asked Randyll to get Ark to battle it and weaken it. Randyll was pressured into doing so, since he had his starter and his friends didn't, so he got Ark to fight the Cubone. Ark was easily winning, but then the Cubone's mother appeared. Ark was beaten and when Randyll returned him to safety in his pokeball, the Marowak attacked Randyll, hitting him in the eye with her bone.
From this attack, Randyll was in hospital for weeks, and while some sight did return to his eye, it was permanently scarred. It served as a constant reminder for Randyll never to be so stupid again. From then on, Randyll attended trainer school to learn how to use pokemon with discipline. He went through school easily and is currently jobseeking.
Starter pokemon: Growlithe Nickname: Ark Gender: Male Personality: Ark is quite playful and is in almost perfect sync with Randyll. He's happy and at ease around Randyll's friends and family, but is cautious and wary around people that make him nervous. Overall quite an intelligent dog, he will never attack unless told to, or if Randyll is in such danger that he has no choice. Abilities: Flash Fire (gains Intimidate as Arcanine)
Starting moves: Bite, Roar, Ember, Odor Sleuth
Future moves: Fire Fang, Agility, Retaliate, Flamethrower, Morning Sun, Wild Charge, Flare Blitz, Extremespeed
Mega Form: Mega Arcanine's fur straightens into elegant curls. He also gains a collar with a sun stone-like rune in the middle. Lastly, on his back, there is a glowing fiery circle that activates his Drought ability. Mega Arcanine remains a pure Fire type.
Variations: Ark doesn't fear water quite as much as other Fire types. While he will succumb quickly to powerful water attacks, he can swim and can shake off weak ones.
1st Catch pokemon: Surskit Nickname: Pomona Gender: Female Personality: Pomona is a little shy, but when pushed, shows bursts of personality. She is fairly loyal and warms quickly to Randyll and Ark as a part of their team. Abilities: Swift Swim (changes to Levitate and Intimidate as Masquerain)
Starting moves: Bubble, Quick Attack, Sweet Scent
Future moves: Gust, Quiver Dance, Silver Wind, Baton Pass, Scald, Bug Buzz, Roost, Ice Beam
Variations: As Masquerain, she remains a Bug/Water type.
2nd Catch pokemon: Pancham Nickname: Devon Gender: Male Personality: A cocky little bastard that thinks he's the greatest thing alive. Devon as a habit of getting into things he can't get out of with being badly beaten up. He acts all tough but is quite sensitive deep down and just wants to be liked. Abilities: Iron Fist (gains Scrappy as Pangoro)
Starting moves: Tackle, Attract, Power-Up Punch, Taunt
Future moves: Circle Throw, Swagger, Hammer Arm, Body Slam, Bulk Up, Crunch, Earthquake
Variations: None

Profile:
Name: Archibald 'Archie' Reynard Age: 18 Gender: Male Appearance: This. Archibald is a snappy dresser who stands at 5'7, with long auburn hair tied in a ponytail and green eyes. He is often found wearing what he describes as a 'business outfit', looking as if he were ready for an interview. Never one to dress lazily, he prefers a one to three-color outfit appearance to give him the 'style' he feels can be respected or acknowledged. He is not one to judge others' styles of clothing, however, not enough of a fashion fiend to bother with a menial detail. All he asks is that he never be forced to wear an outfit he cannot look good in, or he'll default to removing what needs to be removed to wear what he can. For better or worse, he leaves it to the imagination of those around him what this entails...
Personality: Upfront, Archibald comes off easygoing and chill, a guy you can relax around, shoot the breeze with, and generally have a good time. Never one to raise a fuss or lose his temper, he often seems to remain cheerful, though this can make a loss of tone and mood much easier to pick up on under times of stress. When he has associates with him, he makes it a point to cover anyone who needs it, preferring to be the last one out of any given conflict.
Deep down, however, he harbors a distinctive lack of trust in anyone around him, even those he may consider associates. Due to events in his childhood when no one could aid him when it was needed most, he became accustomed to the idea that there won't always be someone around to assist him and, by that decree, he should be prepared to do all he needs to in order to help himself. With his only savior being the mother Avalugg of the Bergmite he calls his own, any trust he has within him lie solely with the pokemon he raises.
History: Archibald, though currently living in Callisto Town with his family and caretakers, was originally born when they still lived in Orion Citadel. Though the region was mountainous and harsh, it presented good opportunities for researchers and miners to investigate the surrounding areas for rare ores, fossils, and more. His father, as one of many miners who prospected the various caves in the region, often brought back ores and other materials to sell for profit. His mother, being more a researcher, would often take some of the haul to examine or else ship off to museums. However, both had something in common.
Neither often had the time to spend time with their son, and as a result, he often found himself going out on his own. At the age of 6, he wandered past the safe haven of Orion Citadel and into the dangerous, cold caverns of the mountainous area in search of his father. All he found, however, was a lost and injured Bergmite being bullied by a Sneasel. Wanting to stick up for the smaller pokemon, he tried to shoo off the Sneasel, but instead found himself to be the new target, swiped at and shoved around by the quick and menacing ice pokemon. Repeatedly calling out for help proved fruitless as no one could hear where he was, and all he could do was try to take the Bergmite and flee while under assault. Eventually backed into a corner, however, he saw no escape and prepared for the worst, hugging the ice creature tightly before the Sneasel could attack.
All that saved him was a timely intervention from the utterly enraged mother of the Bergmite, an Avalugg that relentlessly beat the Sneasel against the cavern until it got the message to flee and lick its wounds. Still trembling with fear, Archibald raised the Bergmite to Avalugg, who took the young one upon her back so he would not get lost again, before moving to lead the boy out of the caves once it had calmed down enough. Before leaving the cave, however, the Bergmite jumped back into the boys arms, pleading with its mother to accompany him. With the knowledge that he has attempted to take care of her child once already, she allowed the young Bergmite to stay with Archibald, who seemed to crack a small smile at the realization despite the shock he'd recieved just a while ago. This point marked the beginning of times when he would not bring himself to rely on anyone but himself and the pokemon he held dear to him.
After learning about the attack, his parents opted to move away from Orion Citadel to Callisto Town, a much nicer and hopefully friendlier environment to raise Archibald and his newfound Bergmite in. Once they settled in, they began to enroll him in Trainer School, to better learn about and understand pokemon, as well as find him caretakers to care for him in their work-filled absence, Despite the damage done to him emotionally, he has still managed to grow up well in mind, though scars of the past often lead him to handle things on his own, often with mixed results. Whether he can overcome this or not in time remains to be seen.
Starter pokemon: Bergmite Nickname: Merak Gender: Male Personality: Somewhat impish, he tends to cause small problems for others whether he means to or not. This can range from walking/hopping/sliding out infront of others, to chilling the air around himself to make it more comfortable for him. However, he knows his master places undying trust in him, and to this end even his nature won't let him disappoint the boy. Through thick and thin, the duo have worked together to overcome any problem, no matter how long it took. Abilities: Ice Body (Gains Sturdy as Avalugg)
Starting moves: Tackle, Bite, Harden, Ice Shard
Future moves: Curse, Hail, Gyro Ball, Protect, Earthquake, Skull-Bash, Recover, Icicle Crash
Variations: Notably a bit more resilient to special-based attacks, almost as if he doesn't want to keel over and faint easily. His master places a great deal of belief in him, and this refusal to show otherwise allows him to power through just a little bit more than the average Bergmite.
Mega Form: Mega Avalugg remains a pure Ice type, sprouting a pair of horizontal pillar-like icicles with flattened tops that fan out in a slight, diagonal pattern from the sides of its head, emulating launch catapults for any Bergmites riding atop it. It also sprouts numerous ice spike protrusions on the outer parts of its legs, as well as a pair of larger ice horns from the 'missing' chunks around its head, which become emergency close-in attack points for foes that escape its frontal line of sight. Designed to be a stronger, longer lasting, living mobile fortress of a pokemon, its special defenses become much better with minor improvements on its attack and defense, finalizing all of this with a Filter ability to give it unprecedented longevity under siege.
1st Catch pokemon: Noibat Nickname: Blake Gender: Male Personality: Unusually cheerful and happy at times, he flutters about with boundless energy. Seems to have an unusual preference for technology and finds himself hovering about, and usually perching on, particularly favorite bits. Abilities: Infiltrator (Also gains Telepathy as Noivern)
Starting moves: Tackle, Leech Life, Gust, Supersonic
Future moves: Roost, Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, Substitute, Air Slash, Dragon Pulse, Hurricane, Boomburst
Variations: None
2nd Catch pokemon: Joltik Nickname: Bea Gender: Female Personality: A firebrand of a bugger-Err, arachnid, she's always ready to go claw-to-claw with a foe, no matter their size. Quick to attack and even quicker to move, she loves debilitating her foes by crippling their speed before unleashing a torrent of relentless strikes before they can figure out where she'll come from next. Abilities: Swarm (Later gains Compound Eyes as Galvantula)
Starting moves: String Shot, Leech Life, Fury Cutter, Electroweb
Future moves: Spider Web, Infestation, Light Screen, Electro Ball, Double-Team, Bug Buzz, Giga Drain, Thunder
Variations: None

Name: Kimberly "Kim" L. Brandt Age: 17 Gender: Female Appearance: Kim stands at an average growing height of 5'7" and possesses a slightly toned figure, albeit typically perceived as slim, but her presence remains great; therefore often not perceived as petite. She has slightly broad shoulders, with long legs. Her figure is that of a developed woman's, albeit masked by her slight athletic stance and composure.
Kim has dyed dark purple hair which falls down to her derriere, tied into a loose ponytail, and a tiny braid falls upon her left shoulder. She wears a dark turqoise cap, adorned by a pink bow on her head. Kim dons a pink turtleneck, tight turtleneck sleeveless top, with a turqoise denim shorts with overall-like straps. She carries a sling purple bag, and wears mismatched gloves.
She wears thigh highs with a simple pattern and a pair of dark green boots.
Personality: Kim is surprisingly sarcastic for an optimistic character, with a knack for being ambitious. She can be nurturing for a youth, surprisingly a fusion of both a mother and a child. However, regardless, she lacks the capability to sympathize or actually place herself in somebody else's place. She is openly affectionate, however, and extremely observant.
She is typically perceived as an intelligent, talkative personality; but can be slightly protective to the point that is overbearing. Kim longs to be a Pokemon professor someday, and is typically over curious; she gets excited about Pokemons, and encourages their freedom.
History: Born in the Orion Citadel, she was in a fairly high class of family; known for their intelligence and capability to tame as well as communicate with the Pokemons as researchers. She was home-schooled then, and had always been, for as long as possible for her parents did not want to expose her to the dangers of the outside world. She had always been fascinated by the relations between Pokemons and humans, as well as how Pokemons connect and breed even knowing if they are from different species. She had always been excited about the thought of Pokemons, considering them to be the actual owners of the world for as long as she lived. She watched them, in hopes to be able to free them from the chains of the world someday.
Perhaps from the humans.
Her parents has had a surprising alignment towards the Pawniard-Bisharp family, for reasons unknown. One of the slips she has known of was that they had been guards, watching over when her parents would do their work, especially in the wilderness where they would be at risk of being attacked by other Pokemons.
Upon turning ten, however, her family's reputation was destroyed by the fact that an occurrence happened to cause a general distrust to her family. With this, they moved to Callisto Town, when both her parents' Bisharp began to copulate, due to the lesser amount of work having to be done especially upon moving. However, they still function as her parents' bodyguards whenever they needed to go out. Not long after, Kim was gifted with the pair of Bisharps' baby Pawniard,
With this, she became easy friends with the Pokemon, finding herself wanting to be very much like her parents if she could -- if not more Pokemon-focused, working with them more than many others of the region. Her parents, knowing how dangerous this could be but realized her love for Pokemons, would only let her out once she was at the age of 15, attending trainer school then, but she had such a charm which seemed to surprise most others when it came to communication with Pokemons. They have decided that she was more suited for the works of a trainer, perhaps capable of taming more Pokemons than they could, training her so that she was physically fit for the ordeal.
And so begins the expansion of her and Ace's horizon.
Starter pokemon: Pawniard Nickname: Ace Gender: Male Personality: Ace the Pawniard is slightly more endearing, if not ... Pathetic. He is slightly dependent towards Kim, reliant on her commands; even if he knows that she might not always be right. He possesses a pacifist nature, slightly hesitant when it comes to hurting other Pokemons. However, until Kim is involved and/or hurt; he would then show a more aggressive side. Abilities: Inner Focus (gains Pressure upon evolution to Bisharp)
Starting moves: Scratch, Leer, Fury Cutter, Torment
Future moves: Dig, Metal Claw, Slash, Double Team, Iron Defense, X-Scissor, Swords Dance, Guillotine
Variations: Ace possesses a little bandaid over his horn, and loses this when he evolves. However, when he evolves into a Bisharp his horn remains silver in color. In fact, every part of his which turns either gold or yellow would remain silver. Ace is also more diligent in comparison to most of his species.
Mega Form: Ace grows by three inches, and his eyes glows red everytime he initias an attack. Three claw-like silver spikes grow on both sides of his face, and an extra shoulder armor develops beneath his red existing ones as Bisharp. His axe-blade on the top of his head protrudes more upwards, and he develops sharp claws, instead of merged glove-like hands; detached. He also develops claws on each heels. He can use the retractable blades on his forearms as shields.
Ace remains the dual-type, but increases in Speed as well as defense.
1st Catch pokemon: Zorua Nickname: Nii Gender: Male Personality: Nii is outgoing, extremely mischievous and is willing to be optimistic even in the hardest times, althought its trust in others is questionable. Nii is a surprisingly independent Zorua, if not for a pet, most of the part due to the fac that it is the sort of Pokemon which tends to run about, getting people lost, but once it senses that trouble is looming; Nii would soon come to rescue those who are under attack. It has a very independent will, actually in hopes to be free for all of its life, despite its constant encouragements towards others. Nii tends to have the sort of personality that gives false hopes, but later breaks it down. Abilities: Illusion
Starting moves: Scratch, Leer, Pursuit, Fake Tears
Future moves: Faint Attack, Incinerate, Cut, Foul Play, Thief, U-Turn, Punishment, Night Daze
Variations: Nii's tail is very much like a rabbit's, much shorter than that of a typical Zorua's. Nii has greener eyes, in comparison to the bluer shades of most Zoruas.
2nd Catch pokemon: Absol Nickname: Zwei Gender: Female Personality: Zwei possesses a more mature personality in comparison to Ace and Nii, silent and hardly making a noise -- but justified in movements and slightly stubborn. Although capable of independent movements, Zwei would rather to be commanded over, mostly due to the fact that she hardly finds herself doing the right when given liberty. She is caring, generally, but does not show other than in battles and her desire to protect. Abilities: Super Luck, Justified
Starting moves: Scratch, Feint, Leer, Quick Attack
Future moves: Bite, Slash, Swords Dance, Night Slash, Giga Impact, Strength, Snarl, Shadow Claw, Perish Song
Variations: Zwei has a much longer tail, its tail and face possessing a lighter tone as well.

Name: Rokujou Chirino Age: 21 Gender: Female Appearance: Roku is a woman of athletic build, tall stature and a smooth gait. She wears clothing that fit, not enjoying having fabric simply drape on her body. Ribbed turtlenecks, jeans, and a pair of heeled boots are her usual appearance along with a well maintained haircut, reminiscent of an ancient goddess. Her eyes are an unusual shade of honey-gold, her hair deeply ebony. Her pokemon, when not out in the field is kept on her belt.
Personality: Despite being somewhat hotheaded, Roku is mature enough to not pick a fight with a stranger. She enjoys it as something to do in her spare time, using it to relieve the tension she gets from her job when she has the opportunity. She's responsible as well as patient, at least until she's had enough, then she might go ballistic for some time. But like any good volcano, Roku will eventually calm down and return to entirely rational behavior.
Luckily she saves these outbursts for private, or for the ring.
She can seem bored sometimes but it's more of a melancholy that clings. Serious about her duty, she keeps herself strictly disciplined to the tasks required of her. Dependable, loyal, but sometimes aloof, she enjoys finding the irony in her life, rather than let it thwart her.
History: Roku grew up in Callisto. Her mother came and brought her, along with her elder brothers before a time she could remember so it's always been home. It never seemed important to know what happened before as it was entirely out of Roku's scope of reference. Instead she grew and studied at one of the local schools, spent her spare time reading comic books, playing in parks, being a normal child for the most part, albeit somewhat quiet and indifferent. She didn't make friends easily, nor seem to particularly care, enjoying her own company.
This was changed when her mother found herself a new employer. She had been laid off from her job as a short order cook at a local restaurant and need to find something to make ends meet. It was a miracle actually, finding that add. A job as a nanny and basic caretaker for a local boy whose parents were busy with their studies. Roku was dragged along, meeting what she first deemed an annoying brat, four years her younger that also took away her mother's attention from herself. The boy would whine, make ploys for attention, seemingly aware of how it set her off. When she glared, he smiled.
Roku contented herself on those long visits doing her homework on their couch, seldom ever spending time at her's and her mother's apartment. Her brothers had graduated and gone off in search of unfortunately less savory employment so their mother took keeping her daughter on the right path as a priority. She tried to encourage her to be friends with the younger boy, to do some of the chores together while she made dinner. Eventually the girl learned to tolerate him more or less, but still spent her time independently at the child's house working on her studies.
Gradually, like shifting an iceberg she became accustomed to his presence instead of ignoring him entirely. It was why when her mother didn't return home one day she chose to go back there, to tell the boy there was a change in plans. Her mother had told her not only did the boy need a friend, but Roku herself couldn't get by not trusting someone forever. So after a quiet night of taking over her mother's duties, it was the now 15 year old Roku's job to keep her charge out of trouble, tutor him, and take care of his basic needs.
She never went home to the empty apartment again.
Starter pokemon: Sandshrew Nickname: Rummy Gender: Female Personality: Quiet but industrious, Rummy has been with Roku since she was five years old, caught by one of her brothers when he saw how dearly the girl admired the creature. Not one to hold a grudge, Rummy acclimated to her new life rather quickly. She knows like her trainer does how to keep a house clean, how to cook, though tutoring evades her.
When her chores are finished she usually sits down with a warm cup of tea, enjoying the time to relax and reflect. Abilities: Sand Veil (Sand Rush as Sandslash, Sand Force as Mega)
Starting moves: Scratch, Defense Curl, Rollout, Sand Attack
Future moves: X-Scissor, Gyro Ball, Toxic Spikes, Brick Break, Shadow Claw, Sandstorm, Poison Jab, Earthquake
Variations: Rummy is more of an orange shade than yellow, harboring on goldenrod.
Mega Form: Upon becoming Mega Sandslash, Rummy becomes part Poison, further augmenting its skillset. Gaining increased attack, defense, and speed, she is able to counteract her newly-added weaknesses. Along with a less-hunched over stature, she sprouts 2 additional claws per limb, protective fur/plating around her neck/shoulders, on her hands, legs, and feet, as well as a pair of spikes swept forward to appear like horns. To make up for the stature changes, her tail grows out longer (with even more spikes to protect it), giving her a better sense of balance.
1st Catch pokemon: Aron Nickname: Akra Gender: Female Personality: Friendly, hungry and oblivious. Akra tends to spend most of her time rooting around in Roku's bags trying to find something to eat, usually the silverware itself. Good-natured and happy, it's only in rare occasions this adorable pokemon goes berserk during a battle. But if she does, beware. Abilities: Sturdy (Later gains Rock Head as Aggron)
Starting moves: Headbutt, Metal Claw, Iron Defense, Roar
Future moves: Iron Head, Protect, Rock Polish, Head Smash (Egg Move, discovers later), Attract, Seismic Toss, Earthquake, Aerial Ace
Variations: Almost always appears chewing on a spoon.
2nd Catch pokemon: Riolu Nickname: Bets Gender: Female Personality: Ambitious and disciplined, this pokemon takes her training very seriously, hoping to not only bring her trainer wins but also gather fame and glory of her own. Abilities: Inner Focus (Later gains Prankster->Justified as Lucario)
Starting moves: Quick Attack, Force Palm, Feint, Copycat
Future moves: Drain Punch, Aura Sphere, Calm Mind, Heal Pulse, Flash Cannon, Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, Extreme Speed
Variations:

Profile:
Name: Lily Cove/Salem Nix Age: 14 and 26 Gender: Female and male respectively Appearance: Lily Cove is a scrawny, short girl with long locks of white hair set into twintails by a pair of bows. Her typical attire consists of a little black skirt inspired by the pokemon Gothorita, aswell as leggings and a pair of cutesy boots. She weighs practically nothing, and is about as physically fit as a rubber band.
History: Now, at this point you're probably very confused, but fear not dear readers! All will be explained here, in the history. Lily began her life in the sombre yet peaceful town of Solaceon, in the region of Sinnoh. Born the sole daughter of two fairly ordinary parents. Her childhood, however, was anything but ordinary. Lily had an incredible gift, she was able to speak with and understand spirits. A medium between the material and immaterial world, she could converse with them as easily as she might greet her neighbor. She discovered her latent abilities on a trip to the lost tower, and chose to keep them a secret from her parents. She started sneaking out after hours and spending hours in the Lost Tower among the spirits. While at first it was harmless enough, it all changed the day she met a particularly unique spirit called Salem. Salem took a liking to the girl, as he had inhabited the tower for a long time with no one to talk to. He told the girl of his past life, of how he was once a member of something called the Elite 4, a group of incredibly skilled trainers hand chosen among the strongest in the land. Lily began to enjoy the man's company, visiting the tower each night to hear his wonderous stories of battles and champions from the past. The climax of this relationship happened one night, while Salem was lamenting being unable to experience the world as he used to, instead simply floating about dying of boredum. Lily, in a stroke or genius, asked if she could use her abilities as a medium to channel him, and let him experience the world he once walked, albeit from a much shorter perspective. The man eagerly agreed, and Lily opened her mind and body to him. Unfortunatly, she had absolutly no experience in channeling spirits, and Salem's soul easily overwhelmed her own. She ended up in a back seat watching her own body cackle and run off, with Salem at the helm.
Heading to town despite the girls protests, Salem went on a childish rampage, breaking windows, tipping Miltanks, and generally being a total dick to everyone he came across. As the residents realized what was happening and chased him down, he made his way to the Hallowed Tower at the edge of town, and stole the keystone placed in it. He ended up face to face with an angry lynch mob, and quickly about faced and fled as fast as his new scrawny girl legs to would allow him. It was hours later that Lily was finally able to wrestle control from him, finding herself in the middle of nowhere possesed by a nutcase who had just made damn sure everyone in her hometown hated her. Understandibly, she wasn't very excited about the whole idea. After spending nearly the whole day arguing and wandering through the woods the pair found themselves in Celestic Town.
A few puppy dog eyes later and they had managed to find a place to stay the night, but Lily knew word would spread of what had happened and hatched a plan to leave the region. Firstly, since neither of the two knew how to seperate themselves, Lily called a truce with Salem, promising to let him have fun so long as he didn't run wild like the last time. In exchange, Salem demanded one last favor. The night before they were to travel to Sunyshore city, he took control and stole the towns famous Griseous Orb. From there it was a simple task of guilt tripping a ferry ride from the locals. The only one avaliable at the time was headed to the isolated region of Navarne. Our story takes place two years later, Lily has settled into life in her new home, and Salem has been finding new and inovative ways to entertain himself. However, he's just itching for a battle, and despite Lily's warnings against it, her own curiousity is beginning to get the better of her.
Personality: Lily is a meek yet stubborn girl with a very peculiar fashion sense. She's quite the brat, and doesn't appear to be very trusting of people on first glance. She assumes she's always going to get her way, and will become quite pouty and passive aggressive if this isn't the case. Her peit size is a constant annoyance to her, as it causes people to treat her like a kid, something she absolutly hates even though she is for all intents and purposes a kid. Her unique talent gives her a very strong affinity with ghost type pokemon, and they appear drawn to her. Salem on the other hand is far less innocent. He's a megalomaniac, has absolutly no indoor speaking voice, and constantly threatens to murder people(Though he has yet to follow through with these threats). Like his vessel he has a similar affinity for ghost types, but for an entirely different reason. Salem is a battler, and a good one at that, he wishes to assert his dominance in the most straightforward way possible, by utterly and completely defeating anyone who would stand in his way. Luckily his current predicament keeps him from going on a rampage through the countryside, and he serves as a particularly strong ally to the much less experienced girl. While Lily is an excellent channeler, Salem has a few talents of his own. He was a natural psychic in his day, some 70 years ago, and had an amazing amount of supernatural abilities at his disposal. Unfortunatly, they are incredibly diluted due to his body being that of a fourteen year old girl. He is capable of levitating himself, although only a scant few inches off the ground. His ability to see the future now only shows one out of several thousand possible outcomes. His former power to entrap a person in a nightmare now is only capable of making scary illusions that last a few seconds. He does still have one useful ability however, and that is his power to access the distortion world. Before he was capable of tearing open portals to the dimension, but now he is only capable of bringing it's influence into a small area. This influence alters the rules that normally apply, creating what is known as an inverse field. Within this field, Fire puts out water, ice can break steel, and flying types are lightningproof. This is known as an inverse battle, where what is commonly a weakness becomes a strength and vice versa. A formidable ability indeed, especially against the uninformed.
Lily's Theme: Mt. Pyre Peak Remix Salem's Theme: Shoal Cave Dubstep Remix
Starter pokemon: Solosis Nickname: None for Salem, Sissy for Lily Gender: Female Personality: Aloof and unassuming, Solosis doesn't appear to display much emotion aside from bobbling around when it's happy. It grows more expressive as it evolves, eventually becoming more of a playful trickster than a motionless blob. It's apparently unphazed by Lily's vice-like hugs that she gives it far too often for being adorable. Abilities: Magic Guard/Regenerator
Starting moves: Psywave, Telekinesis, Reflect, Metronome Future moves: Recover, Energy Ball, Psychic, Wonder Room, Trick Room, Focus Blast
Variations: not apparent right away, but if you were to grab and squeeze it, you'd find that it squeaks rather hilariously
Mega Form: Mega Reuniclus becomes much more imposing, transforming from a small childlike creature to a far more human-like appearance. With this evolution it gains the ghost typing, aswell as the filter ability to give it more survivability along with boosts to both it's defensive stats. Rather than increasing it's already potent special attack further, it's physical attack recieves a boost so that it's just as devastating as it's special side, allowing it to use physical moves in addition to it's already formidable special movepool.
1st Catch pokemon: Phantump Nickname: None for Salem, Stumpy for Lily Gender: Male Personality: Thinks he's far more intimidating than he actually is, and commonly trys to take on tasks far above his level. Abilities: Harvest/Natural Cure
Starting moves: Astonish, Grass Knot, Will O' Wisp
Future moves: Shadow Claw, Forest's Curse, Wood Hammer, Phantom Force
Variations: It's right horn is significantly smaller than it's left, this trait stays even after evolution.

Variations: This particular Spiritomb is voiced by Mark Hamill.
