Ashley Wood, Seth Fisher... I've been wanting to read Asterios Polyp since I first heard about it. I love Mazzuchelli's work, especially with the adaptation of City of Glass. And yes, Paul Pope is highly recommended. Kabuki, though, I tried recently, and I couldn't even finish the first volume. I found it tiresome.
