One Jameson on the rox + 2 large cans of PBR = 5 + 2*2 = 9$

yes well, even our cheap beer isn't that piss-like, Germans are proud of their beer brewing traditions blablabla
sometimes we import stuff like Corona or Two Dogs. When I was 15, Corona was 'cool'.

wait. explain this to me: you drink this 'beer' AFTER having had a tumblerful of whisky/-ey? why would you want to do that? Am I the only one who savors the taste of whisky/-ey in his mouth, because it's such an amazingly, dunno, fragrant, tasteful, flavorful (someone help me out here, please), ah let's say RICH, it has an amazingly rich taste. Currently I am drinking alcohol for the alcohol, so I stay away from Whisky/-ey. Waste of money, really. And the only thing that's worse than cheap whiskey is cheap gin.

I can't explain except I need something plain tasting in between my sipping my whiskey...

IN BETWEEN????

there are plenty of decent beers in the US now, Marcel. When first we went to Canada..Toronto is full of wonderful bookshops and beer, and Henry Moore, i love the city. Canadians used to have a joke about Americans not drinking beer, but renting it :P But kline's right, there are lots of lovely beers in the US now

special for all you brew alcies

61 brewpubs and microbreweries in new york state alone

http://brewpubzone.com/States/NewYork.html

and on the link page
you can search all the other states

you are speaking out of ignorance, Marcel
I expect most of the microbrews wouldn;t be available to you

sending them to Germany
would be a bit like carrying coals
to Newcastle, Jah?

To be perfectly honest...not that long ago a case of budlight and a fifth of vodka was what I drank ever day (whiskey, champagne) along with other chemicals to even make that possible and other chemicals to make taking those chemicals in that quantity possible... (another story)...so my love of budlight is nostalgic arising from what at the time I took to be a nesesary part of my day. Now, when I drink (when the people who think I'm sober are gone, or oblivious) I'll try to drink a good beer or two (Cerveza Pacifico, Flat Tire), a freezing martini, but I especially like the taste of whiskey up...I just have to watch myself because I don't really stop and when I get up near 6 or 8 drinks, I don't know how it happens but I end up scoring dope and then ten days later as I snap out of it...what do you know...everybody's mad at me and here comes the lies and the imaginary cops at my door. Again.
