The Blood Packs

Every vampire family or clan has a small group of members that are used as both assassains, warriors, hunters or their own Generals, in the case of the Blodkol family they are called the Blood Pack, a group of family members that take there orders directly from Fenrir or his second in command, these members are the people he trusts with his own life, those who he has trained personally to deal with different circumstances so that they are never surprised. Each of the members were chosen for there differing abilites as well as weapon skills. Each of the Blodkol family must take a trail to become a member of the Blood Pack, no one has ever failed the trail though it is extemely difficult and would rival even those of the Blood Lord Trials. The Pack itself was not just started by Fenrir alone, it was started with his friend and allie Gravel Mortifer in the years when they in there own right were Generals. In recent years, since Fenrir placed Asha as the Head of the Family and disappeared, the Blood Pack has all but ended, yet Asha holds onto it fiercely due to the honour of the family.

Fenrir Blodkol - Head

The Blodkol Lineage

The Blodkol family are proud and honourable and they do not stand fools or idiots, their Bloodline is one of the oldest in the world, tracing itself long back to the beginning of the seven lines, they do not believe in bending their knee's to anyone even if that person is of a higher status than they. Their only loyalty is to there family which is what makes them deadly, as the family fight as a unit, you fight against one and you will soon find yourself fighting against everyone with in the family at the same time, of which there is normally no escape, as before mentioned the family is proud and under no circumstances is betrayal a worthy cause. If a Blodkol swear's his or her sword to you, then you have their forever loyalty, but this can change if you do something to hurt another member of his or her family, as there true loyalty, soul and heart belong to that of the family.

Many vampires have different reasons as to why they choose to sire certain humans, be it a sexual attraction or there abilities as humans, their power, their riches, this was never the reason for why the Blodkol's are sired. Fenrir and his family are in a way watchers and a protectors to those they intend to turn, they can sense the inner abilities of those they turn, their strengths and their weaknesses. They choose them on there ability to fight, none of the vampires within the Blodkol family have been anything other than warriors, they have in some way impressed Fenrir or his family in a way that made them turn them, their abilites with fighting, of manipulation and in most cases their ability for great destruction, violence and anger.

Many vampires sometimes keep their more human looks when they are turned but that is not the case for a Blodkol, when they have turned they go through two different transformations, if their hair is any other colour but black the pigments within the hair begin to change colour, for example if it was once blonde it turns black, the second and most determining feature of a Blodkol's body transformation is that their eyes turn a scarlet or sometimes crimson red, and continue to stay that colour throughout their lives, while most vampires canines protrude in their mouths a Blodkol's teeth are slightly different, though the canines are still enlarged the teeth to the side of the front teeth are also enlarged though they are smaller than the canines they are just as sharp, the same can be said for the bottom canines this is due to their more bestial nature. Another more physical difference is that unlike most vampires who heal their wounds quickly so that they don't show their scars the Blodkol tend to choose to keep their scars, so scarring upon the body of a Blodkol is not uncommon no matter where it may be.

Members of the Blodkol Lineage are typically found to possess two distinct abilities, or traits. The first, and perhaps more noticeable, are their eyes. All Blodkol, male and female, have black sclera's and blood red iris', defining their eyes as unlike any other within the Vampiric Race. More than simply aesthetic, the eyes are both alluring and seductive, and cause an almost succubus-like effect from Blodkol to 'prey'. This can be used to ensnare unwary adversaries, working particularly well on the weak of will, such as your every day human. Those more strong willed are able to resist the effects more readily, so long as they are aware of what is happening. This creates a predator-prey like feel surrounding the Blodkols as a whole, due to their ability to ensnare.

Added to the unique eyes of the Blodkol is their closeness with the Beast. Sometimes regarded as more beast than man, the Blodkols are able to tap into and use their inner-beast to their advantage, making them more susceptible to prolonged combat, able to endure more damage and strike fear into the heart of their foes should they come into contact with a Blodkol who has unlocked their inner-beast. This is considered one of the reasons that the Blodkols are, for all intents and purposes, a strictly Warrior-family, with very few exceptions. It also adds to their appearance as the predator amongst the prey.

Alongside the enhancing traits noted above, the Blodkols are, as stated, renowned Warriors. While some may study magick alongside their training, albeit few Blodkols have been known to even do this, their lifestyle is wholeheartedly that of a Warrior. Each member is given, upon their siring, a weapon forged by Fenrir himself, a weapon which is kept for life and bound to the individual through one of their rare uses of magick, making it only wieldable by the Blodkol in question. Blodkols are also known throughout the Vampire Race as never kneeling or bowing to another vampire, family or sect.

Blodkols are, strictly speaking, non-religious. While they do not doubt the existence of the Gods, they do not worship them devoutly as many of the other families have been seen to do. This is not enforced, simply a typical trait of a Blodkol. They hold honour and family above all else, fiercely loyal to their kin', which could be one reason for their inability to kneel.

Many people believe that those who have the Blodkol blood within there veins are stricken with insanity, this however is not true, some may suffer from scitzophrenia and extreme anger but the members of the family tend to give off the aura of insanity to those around them, to lead them into a false sense of security. In actual fact the family themselves can not stand those who have fallen into a state of insanity and those who do within the family are put into the same category as an Exile.

Many families believe in killing off those who betray their bloodline or hierarchy. The Blodkols differ from those other families as they believe that a simple marking upon the traitors body to show the world of there betrayal is enough. This happens in the form of the removal of the wedding finger upon the left hand of the accused. This proves the dishonour of the person due to the fact that in most cases to a Blodkol a life without honour is a life worse than death. This practice has happened only once in the whole of the lifespan of the Blodkol family to Morrigan Blodkol, she fell into madness after being captured by the Forsaken, there she was indoctrinated into trying to assassinate Fenrir and the rest of his family.

Although the Blodkol family is a wealthy one, it does not tend to stick in one area for all that long if they can help it, in this way they are nomads, they tend to move around country to country being attracted to wars, skirmishes and other scenes of battles. They are attracted to those places, as they can almost sense it, to them it is a way to prove themselves in battle no matter who the enemy is. The old Blodkol Manor has long disappeared into the Forest's and hills of Northern England and may one day be re-found and rebuilt to its once former glory. Though many of the family have their own living spaces, sometimes near or in their own native home they are always in contact with each somehow be it through their animal companions or their telepathic abilities with one and another. Each of them know where the other one is at all times and never is one Blodkol to far away from the other, they are all use to harsh environments from the crudest desert to the rainiest forest.

It has been said that the Blodkol family are the closest of all the families to the beast, it is said that some have even seen into the beast's eyes and survived, never telling anyone of what they saw. This is where the family get their affiliation to those of a more bestial nature though the family have fought many times against Lycans they have also always held a secret understanding for them, as in the Blodkol's mind they are not much different from each other and it has been said that some member's of the Blodkol line have been very close friends with those of the Lycan packs. It is also easier for the Blodkol line to become friends with those animals of nature, some have even been taken in as companions for the Blodkol's, a prime example from recent years being Keira Blodkol and her Hawk.

Exceptions To The Magick 'Rule'

As mentioned above, there have been a few exceptions to the Warrior way of life within the Blodkol Family. Fenrir himself is known to frequently use magick alongside his swordsmanship. Asha, too, has been sighted learning from Garvel Mortifer in the past, although in both cases they remain true to their Warrior-ways. The only true exception to this has been Claurise, who trained to become a Mage. She is known to have been shunned by some of her sisters for this choice, although never openly by Fenrir.

Blodkol Weaponry

OOC Note: Asha has been made official Head of the Blodkol Family by Fenrir. [I have just finished speaking with Mike about this, and it is 100% legitimate]

At present the only active Blodkol is a third gen childé, who is NOT deemed the head. Should any second gens return before Fenrir they may take the mantle of "Acting Head". Any changes needed, feel free to PM me.
(Or Trin)

I love this, your wording is brilliant.

Just finished speaking to Mike, and he's given me the Family entirely. Asha is now the Head of the House, with Fenrir as the Founder.

Would like to state that as Fenrir gave Trinity the head IC. You are free to claim it IC, whilst Trinity's inactive she can't do much about it of course. However, under playing under IC rules - she'll come and claim it back. It's best to just keep it IC and handle it that way haha.

Any kick-ass song works haha.

Edit: Libby has apparently left habbo now, she was saying on the GoT forum RP. So if people are interested in joining this family contact me. I'm the Head in Fenrir's absense, only the character is inactive :) So can help you with things, etc.
Explanation.
