My guide I posted on Tainted Ones. Figured I'd post it here for those interested in bug abuse. ------------------------------- Dragon spent a long time working on his guide to help out newbies to bug abuse, and all he got was spam saying "OMfG!! dosnttt tell us nuttin bout how to do ze force teles!!" Figured I'd try to write a guide explaining as best as I possibly can how forced teles work, so that, yes, even you crappy bug abusers, can at least try. Please note, that if you want any hope at all of finding something like a forced teleport, you need quite a bit of brains (that excludes most of you that post here), an open mind, and lots of creativity. It also helps to have a members account with lots of quests and shit done to have better access to all the parts of Runescape. Forced Teleports by Eaglz84 (Ebullient) I. Beginning Explanation My own personal definition of a Forced Teleport is any part in Runescape that forces your character to another location, apart from natural teleports. Obvious examples are when you accept a challenge in the Games Room, and get forced into the chairs in the lobby. Or when you finish a duel and get forced into the outside building. Now the forced teleports that you guys always talk about, are the controllable ones that can be manipulated to be used ANYWHERE. That's what allowed major bugs to be done. Anybody with half a brain can think of all sorts of places to get forced out of. Being forced from Barbarian Assault could yield blood runes. Being forced from Castle Wars could yield bandages. Getting forced out of a duel before you lose keeps you from ever losing money. II. How They Work Forced teleports are everywhere, but the ones that we want to find are the ones that are badly coded, and can be exploited to work to our advantage. I'll explain how they've worked in the past, so that you can possibly work out your own ideas. The Shantay Pass FT involved teleporting somewhere between the time you walked through the gate and recieved your disclaimer. You would teleport to your location, but then be forced back to Al-Kharid because you needed to recieve your disclaimer. This may not seem like much of course at first, but Kami came to realize that you could teleport to your house, and be forced back to Al-Kharid, tricking the game into still thinking you were at your house. This meant that if you switched on Build Mode, you would be forced back to your house, from WHEREVER you currently are. The original Duel Arena FT involved using a teleother immediately after accepting a duel. After closing the teleother, you would have 3 seconds before the duel gets canceled. So if you had somebody follow you around and constantly cast teleothers on you, the possiblities were pretty limitless. The newer Duel Arena FTs also known as the 12th and 13th involved abusing preset rules in the coding Jagex programmed into the Duel Arena. It's been a while since I've been told how the 12th worked, the gnomeball version involved equipping a weapon immediately after accepting a no-weapon duel , by having someone throw it to you and having no space for it to go into (your inventory would have to be full) . This would cancel the duel on your end, but send your opponent in alone. You then had 3 seconds to get your ass into a duel with somebody else, so as to not kicking your opponent after the game says "FIGHT!". The First version of the 12th also involved filling your inventory before entry , though this could be achieved a number of different ways (because you were still able to access the inventory tab on the second duel screen. This is how jagex patched it , by disabling the ability nto access your inventory and equipment tab. III. Tips As you can see by reading the last section, it takes a good understanding of Jagex's coding to find a way to exploit it. The FTs involving the Duel Arena were able stop entrance of your character into the Duel Arena, while sending in your opponent alone. My personal recommendation is to look through major updates, like minigames, to search for ways to find a Forced Teleport. For instance, let me show you one of my finds. I found a bug that let me escape from the Barbarian Assault waiting room, with my client still fully connected to my team. I was even able to see the last person join the team while I was in Varrock. ![]() You may not realize just how close this is to a full, controllable FT. When the leader of my team tries to go down the ladder to start the game, it tells him one of his players is busy. Jagex seems to have specified that the game not be able to start unless all the players are in the waiting room. Had that coding not been in place, it would have been a full blown FT. I would be able to escape the waiting room, and get forced back whenever I want by having a friend as leader go down the ladder. IV. The Duel Arena Realize that the Duel Arena is a perfect place to turn a small FT into a big one. Lets say you found a way to escape the Pest Control waiting room and get forced back once the game starts. Well you'd only have a little bit of time to do what you want, so your best bet is to take it to Duel Arena. Get yourself into a duel, and force out. Now you have approximately one hour to whatever the hell you want, and when you've got what you need, have your friend time out in the Duel Arena, and you'll be forced back. Now I'm not sure if people want me releasing this little bit of information below, so any Mod that is upset just PM me and I'll remove it. Another less appreciated aspect of getting forced back to the Duel Arena is that the second you arrive, an interface pops up saying that your opponent times out. Now this interface may seem like nothing at first, but realize its benefits. This interface acts as a perfect delay. Jagex made it so that the blood runes you take from Barbarian Assault dissappear if taken out of the minigame. The Duel Arena interface, however, will delay the runes from disappearing until you close it. It basically has the potential to turn area-based items into normal items. I won't reveal the second part to the Blood Dupe, but you have enough information to formulate your own ideas. V.
