Hi Dr. T

Do you know any exercises that'll work out the upper and/or lower abs?

I forgot what it's called but:


Suck in your abs and stay breathing, get in a push up form and stay there for around 30 seconds, to make it harder you can try being in the push-up form with 1 leg while doing this or turn over to one side and lift your arm up in the air. You can't touch the ground in any of this


This is the best way to tighten your abs.


You might want to do it for a few seconds each time and work your way up, because it'll probably be hard if you've never done it.


And you need to keep breathing deeply or this exercise does nothing to you.

You'll know you're doing it right if you're entire body is shaking, l0l

I can't tell if you're fuckin' 'round or you're serious, but I've never heard of a method like that.

Then again I do the good old generic situps, and crunches for left and right sets.

I'm being serious, actually sit ups and crunches aren't that great if you want good abs because it doesn't work on every muscle, that method I just said does.

They look fine to me, lol. But I'm not aiming for a ripped 6 pack, so your method is probably more effective for bulk.

You wanna break it down then. What I got out of it was you stay in a push up position and hold your breath in while randomly lifting up body parts lol.

You wanna break it down then. What I got out of it was you stay in a push up position and hold your breath in while randomly lifting up body parts lol.

Lol it's pretty hard to explain but:


1. Hold your abs in (Pretty much suck your stomach in), and make sure you're breathing, because usually when people do this, the first thing they do is stop breathing.

2. Get down in a Push-up position

3. Stay in it for as long as you can/would like to.

4. If you want to make it harder, put one of your legs on the other OR

Do the same thing on your side, hold your body up with your elbow and lift the arm that's on the top of your body up, do this while sucking your stomach in, breathing, and not touching the ground (other then your elbow and your feet)

The last one is kinda hard and I don't think you should do it on your first try.

you'll know you're doing it right if you start shaking.

Always breathe (If you stop breathing, then the exercise will do nothing for you.}, always have your abs/stomach sucked in, and never touch the ground.

You can do this for 15+ seconds, maybe 3 times a day.

Should your body be flexed to the ground or in a readied position.

In readied position I didn't feel anything until about a minute. Flexed it took about 40 seconds.

15 seconds seems a bit short. lol

There is no workout that will target fat in your abs. You strengthen the existing muscles, not replace the fat with more muscle.

Timberly: Yeah :ghjjf: but being skin and bones isn't my ideal figure, I just haven't had motivation to do any intense lifting.

Restricted blood flow to your hand. If your hand is elevated at all long periods of time could cause it to become cold, if that happens you should straight out your hand flex it etc.
